Walgreens was also present in Hawaii, offering everything you'd find in other locations along with Hawaiian items. Most items were reasonably priced, though trial-size lotion was double the price compared to New York, similar to California. Access to this location requires a car as it's not situated along the Honolulu strip. Overall, I recommend stopping by, especially if you didn't notice similar items at the ABC store.

The pharmacy went above and beyond to get my new(as in never filled before) prescription transferred from a mainland Walgreens. Despite a power outage etc. they got it done! Special kudos to Cory and Gregg for all their help.

Understaffed counter cashier's and overall horrible management. Why does the manager and cashier both focus on the problem of one customer as the lines increase? Happened to me... Left my purchases on the counter after too long of wait.

AVOID THEIR CLAIM THAT THEY HAVE FEDEX!!I brought a prepaid label shipment and Noah and the manager REFUSED to help claiming "it has a battery"...aaand?? They told me to take it to the FedEx in town, as though the battery would magically disappear 25 minutes away.FedEx told me to come to this location, which I told Anthony but he still whined about having to deal with it.VERY FRUSTRATED!!

Did a Nordstrom return at the FedEx counter at Walgreens. No customers at check out so clerks were chatting, not noticing (ignoring) me at the FedEx counter. Wouldn't even look my way. Apparently the clerks man the FedEx counter, too. Stood there for 10 minutes until a FedEx delivery guy came in with a hand truck and told the clerks a customer (me) needed to do a drop off. If Nordstrom only knew how their customers were being treated at this FedEx location.

If I could put no STARS I WOULD, The pharmacy staff is a joke, especially the guys working there. Their policy is Lunch before the customer. My daughter was there before 1:30 speaking with the staff for her meds and mines. I asked to speak to the staff, because they had an issue with my brand and needed Doctor approval, I asked for my other meds that they have been blowing up my phone about picking it up because it's ready. They tell my daughter they don't have it. Again! Im looking at it on my phone that it states it's ready for pickup. I told her to just pick her up prescription. While my daughter is asking the staff, she would just like to pick up her prescription, I can hear them rolling down the gates and telling her to come back at 2pm. WTH! Who does this crap, Well.... Walgreens doe's because it lunch before the customers. She was there before 1:30 and you do this to her all the while I'm on the phone with her. Well guess what Walgreens you just lost my business of 40 years and all my kids meds as well. Hello CVS!

Went in for vaccines and the service was quick and painless. I had to call for something else at another time and they looked it up for me and got the price and how many in stock they had! Great service at the Hawaii Kai store! .

After 5 minutes of answering questions about my personal info Melissa from the pharmacy told me they don't have my prescription because she failed to check the fax and then refused to give me my prescription because she needed to "check" something with the prescribing doctor before giving me my medicine. The prescription was sent in yesterday so if she needed to check something with the doctor she should have done it yesterday before I cane in. Now I have to wait for her to contact me and come come back to the pharmacy to get my medicine. Don't use this pharmacy at Walgreens and just send it to Longs so you won't have to deal with this incompetent pharmacist Melissa.

Convenient, but Joe and another pharmacy tech not friendly nor helpful, very curt. Really needed a prescription, just brushed it off and said to contact my physician for a refill…didn’t offer me an emergency 3 days supply, which was offered by another caring pharmacy tech last year there; rather after inquiring of the 3 days supply, Joe just said, ‘well that’s up to you…Joe came across as rushed and let’s move on…my prescription ran out and it was failure on MY part to recognize that there wasn’t any refills left…but come on, you can recognize by my type of medication that it’s really important and needed for my condition…just be more empathetic, friendly, helpful and professional Joe!Update: upon prescription pickup, Joe was friendly and helpful, a complete turnaround from our phone conversation…thus 2 added stars…but still lacking 1 star, because consistency is needed.

I will have to admit, I am not the biggest fan of Walgreens, as CVS Longs Drugs is my goto spot whenever I need stuff from a drug store.I don't know about you folks, but I could be wrong about it.........for some reason I always think that the items sold at Walgreens is a little more expensive than buying the same items at CVS Longs? But to be fair to Walgreens, whenever there is a sale item - for instance sometimes I am able to buy some pretty cheap laundry detergent from Walgreens, then I would say it's a super dealages here at Walgreens!My adventures to Walgreens the other night was to only go in there to buy some bottled water, as I was pretty thirsty after working out on a super hot Saturday night at 24 Hour Fitness.Since Walgreens no longer uses that Walgreens card, all you have to do now is sign up with a clerk at Walgreens (a clerk help me sign up, as my Walgreen card was no longer good) then from there, just punch in your phone number, then bam! You get a discount!Bought two bottles of water (1.5 liter size) for just $0.88 each, how's that for dealages????Located at the Koko Marina Shopping center, this Walgreens store in the Hawaii Kai neighborhood has easy access, as there is plenty free parking within the shopping complex.

My hubby and I stopped in on our honeymoon since unfortunately I had misplaced my Super Stay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick in the shade "Lover" #15 by Maybelline New York. It's my go-to matte liquid lipstick I absolutely swear by, I've worn it to events, date nights and even my own wedding day! It's kiss-proff, sweat proof and long lasting, yes even after meals! I was glad to see Walgreens carries it!I would highly recommend this location and will definitely be returning when in need of makeup and gifts! SYOY! :-)
