Manager or salesperson kept cashier occupied in conversation oblivious to customers in line. The other photo cashier impatiently directed me to insert my card for payment into a slit above key pad. I had difficulty finding the insert and asked him for help. Ignoring me after several requests I finished the transaction. My 2 packs of gum paid. Wow. Sad customer service.

Terrible Walgreens. Long lines, incompetent staff. Avoid. If you need photos, the cvs down the street is better.

Convenience... It seems like Walgreens are still trying to find its place here in Honolulu as a few came and went I'm still glad to find and this Beretania location which is the only one left in town. Am I regular here...no and for many reasons that I'm not in the know of what's on sale and not part of myWalgreen but I do love the location with lots of free parking I just need to familiar myself with this location and what it has to offer. In desperate moments I have used it's photo service at other locations since they do open late making it a lifesaver in so many ways as on this day I was in search for a very particular item that not many places to have and have found it here thankfully along with a few other items that I almost forgot to pick up which made me so happy to have found it in one place. The prices are comparable to other places when you're in a pinch but the convenience was just priceless. Places like these are much more valuable than we realize along with the staff that was nice though not very friendly but I got it all and went happily on my way and made it that much better. Thank you!

I do not recommend this place to get your passport photo. Choose CVS instead for a better photo quality and customer service experience.

I was having what I thought was a normal courteous interaction with the Pharmacy Tech about getting my Rx filled. She said they didn’t have it in stock. I said I understood (it’s in short supply nationwide). I thanked her and started to leave.Then seemingly apropos of nothing she yells “don’t let it hit you on zee vay out!” (She was an older woman with a strong European accent). I was shocked and offended. So shocked all I managed to say back was “ok!”.However, it turned out she had a point! As I was leaving the automatic door nearly closed on me! I managed to leap clear but the shopper behind me had his paper bag smushed in the door frame. Some kind of lotion and soda were leaking everywhere. Turns out that the pharmacy tech lady maybe saved me from a nasty mangling. So thank you old euro pharmacy lady!Anyway, minus 2 stars for not having my Rx and minus another 2 stars for dangerously negligent automatic door mismanagement.

This location is on Beretania next to PetCo. For some reason they're never well stocked. Every time I need to get something they tend to be out. I was in the store today and they had a huge wall os Squishmallows. OMG! They even had a Hello Kitty one. Can you believe a Hello Kitty Squishmallow? I'm obsessed, but left it alone. I have enough, but that would be a nice collectors item. All the Christmas candy is now half off. Most of the Hershey's bags are $4. I also found some tropical gummy bears that I had to try. I haven't seen these anywhere else. They came in lychee, lilikoi and pineapple. I bought one of each and they were all good.

Wow. If you are a fan of the Aloha Spirit, don't go here. The non-pharmacy employees are noticeably less interested in helping you than avoiding the wrath of their manager. I imagine they are paid the minimum wage and no more. But the pharmacy side is even worse. The tall wrinkled pharmacy tech will glower at you behind her plexiglass-glass box as she demands your ID and cuts you off while you're answering the questions that she asked. Then she'll march off out of sight with your ID to conference with an unseen off-stage pharmacist, march back, toss your RX and ID back at you and gruffly declare that they don't carry your med and won't be bothered with looking to see if other Walgreens do. But the greatest and most surprising indignity is yet to come! After you thank her and begin to walk away while you quietly mourn the death of Aloha, she'll shout at you some kind of quip or insult - apropos of nothing! Most recently: "don't let the door hit you on the way out!" As you stumble out in shock and cross the urine-drenched parking lot to your car, you might wonder (as I did) how this Walgreens has managed to stay in business so long.

I ordered a toy online and picked it up today but they give me wrong one. They didn't even check what I ordered. Waste of time and gas.

Store isn't bad except for there's always a long line at checkout. I was harassed by the security guard taking pictures of me and scaring my partner.

First time going to this pharmacy.My PCP was supposed to have sent the Rx to the pharmacy but when I arrived I was told they did not have it. I had a copy of the Rx given to me by the PCP and I gave them my copy.I was told by the pharmacy tech that she could not accept that because it had an electronic signature and not an original signature. Was told that the PCP had to send it to the pharmacy.I asked her "If she sends it directly isn't that still an electronic signature?" Most medical records are electronic now.I guess she couldn't answer that question so I left and went to longs.Longs called the PCP and got the Rx for me and filled it that day.Just a little customer service can make a big difference!!
