The restrooms are filthy and rundown. Every time you walk in, there's always a loud, deafening renovation sound. Most of all, there isn't even AC in the summer.

RACIST, DO NOT ENTER!!! ZERO STAR!! I can see how the shop owners behavior from reviews posted 7+ years ago are still ongoing. First the lady was nice then she started following me - I am a person of color. She was kind to people who she spoke a language other than English with and let them touch everything without any oversight. But with me and my parents she hovered over us like a hawk. Then when I went to pay she kept checking what I was putting as if I would mix up the items?! Then when I paid the male owner at the register was simply disgusting. When I asked if a shirt was on sale he laughed and said no - it came off as if he thought I can't pay for it. There was miscommunication where I thought he said no tax if I pay cash so I asked if I pay with cash is it not taxed? He said no he charges taxes for all forms of payment. I said ok and paid with my card then after transaction was done he asked me where I'm from and I said california. Then he said "oh so you must be doing under the counter business and not paying your taxes." I was utterly appalled!!! I'm a medical worker with w2 income! What the F are you talking about?! He just got worse and worse and I could not believe what I experienced. An innocent misunderstanding turned into him very freely accusing me of things I don't even do!!! He seemed to really enjoy taking digs at me....it was very disturbing. Who the hell are you to talk to me like this?!?! I didn't want to ruin my day so I stayed quiet and left. I felt like crying after but told myself not to let them ruin my day. These people are disgusting - worst energy ever!! I wish I bought my purchase elsewhere. Do not even enter!!!!

Now, I may be a little biased on this one, it's my home. Great security and office staff. The small basement pkg lot is free for the first 25 minutes if you're just running in to visit or pick up or drop off someone or something. There is an entry/exit door there but entry requires a key fob that is limited to tenants first floor on the inside is for the bldg's office staff #ing 2 as well as a surf shop where you can rent/purchase surfboards, paddle boards etc. or purchase gear/accessories and a door that is left open during bus. hrs weekdays for access to the elevators, if you have business with any of the offices that are leased by various professionals and are located on the 4th floor. The elevators only go to the down to the basement pkg, 1st and 4th floors for nonresidents. The 2nd and 3rd floor are resident pkg and require a key fob or a passcode which is changed wkly. The 4th floor also has our deck and BBQ area as well as a small pool and some other things like a kitchen for residents who need a large area for gatherings, parties etc. with tables and chairs as well as tenting etc. free of charge for homeowners. The 5th floor to roof is residential. To gain access requires the fob or the current elevators passcode or you can call the tenant by following the directions posted next to the in bldg only phone and directory. They can then either buzz you in the door and give you the passcode or you can wait for them to come down and escort you to their residence. Residents in the know can verify who is calling and walking in or you out of the door via CCTV in the convenience of their home on their television on a special cable channel. On the outside of the bldg, near the entrance, are the entrance to an urgent care clinic, a clothing/souvenir shop and a now closed ABC store due to the Covid 19 virus as well as the former Wailana Coffee Shop which closed is doors a couple of years ago. There are no plans yet for that space.

They closed last Oct of 2018 after 48 years of service. I was one of the last customers in there to be served. They had great food, a neighborhood place that was familiar to old timers in Waikiki. If they reopened under new ownership, it would be news to me.
