After my daughter struggled academically during her first year in middle school and disappointing help from the counselor and teachers at her typical public school, we looked to charter schools and several private schools for a change. This was five years ago and we now have our younger children attending, including one that needs a 504 plan. One thing that stood out was how the school's emphasis is on contributing back to the community individually and as a whole. The focus is not just not on education, but on applying what they are learning to real life situations.Holding on and securing well qualified teachers (or better yet teachers in general) in the state or Hawaii is a struggle in itself.

My daughter started kindergarten in the fall of 2016; I'm amazed by her growth, not just in her learning but as a person. What strikes me about Voyager, is that everyone there wants to be there, that makes all the difference.
