We had a wonderful stay and would go there again. Quality for price was great! Staff was all super friendly and professional. Great continental breakfast and valet service. Very close to the beach. Everyone made you feel welcome. Only suggestion is to add a laundry facility for guests. It was inconvenient to go to the 24 hour laundry one mile away.

Wonderful hotel. Not fancy and not basic. It was a "Goldilocks" experience - just right.
Free breakfast and beach rentals like umbrellas, towels etc where the cherry in top of a memorable stay

We had a great time at the Vive Hotel! The hotel is close to the beach and main shops and there is a bus stop right outside that can take you to various spots in Honolulu. The hotel offers continental breakfast every morning which was a nice spread. We also had access to beach towels, chairs, and bags that came super handy. The price for the room was also very reasonable.
What stood out the most from the hotel was the friendly and responsive service. Anytime we had a question or needed help, the staff were super helpful and willing to give us their suggestions and advice. Thank you to the Vive Hotel staff for making our first trip to Honolulu a great one!

Excellent location, two blocks from the beach in Waikiki. Despite what I expected, the room was plenty quiet at night and the AC helped drown out any street noise. The room was very clean. The valet crew were super cool and helpful every day. The breakfast each morning was solid (fresh fruit, pastries, eggs and protein). Can't wait to come back

The Vive Hotel is very nice. Free filtered water dispensers, complimentary breakfast that rotates a few new items every morning, books and board/card games in the lounge area, and access to free beach gear. The place is close to the beach, stores, malls, and great poke right across the street. And their staff is great and accommodating, especially Cory. Thank you for a pleasant and wonderful stay!

This hotel met many standards for the price point, and we had a very positive experience at this place!
Location-wise, this was a few blocks from the beach in Waikiki. Seeing as many people are traveling to Hawaii with little carrying capacity, it is extremely nice that the hotel provides beach towels, mats, chairs, and umbrellas for use in a grab and go location. We were driving around the island, and it turns out there is even a station to get the gear from the valets! (Shout out to the entire valet team. Arnel’s name is most memorable, but every one of them were kind people.)
The rooms were equipped with AC, that was a bit on the loud side, but you can pick up earplugs for improved sleep. Their bathrooms were vented, and the beds produced no complaints. TVs are kind of an afterthought at other places, but the hotel set this up very well here. At room assignment, the tv will be on and have your name to welcome you. It has the streaming apps you care for, Netflix, YouTube, etc. when you’re checking out, the tv is reset, so you don’t have to remember to log yourself out! That’s a great customer experience in my opinion.
The breakfast every morning was great and much appreciated. This is covered by most other reviews.
On staff, I have to assume their management is taking care of everyone very well, because every interaction with any staff member was positive and smooth. You’re handed consistent small favors and these little acts of kindness really adds up. Shout out to VIVE. This is definitely a hotel worth checking out if you are looking for a place to stay in Oahu.

I am really impressed by VIVE hotel Waikiki. Smack in the middle of Waikiki, walking distance to the beach and important spots. Doing my check-in before hand made things a breeze. Sevice is great - They got a lot of the small touches right. E.g., Giving you complimentary beach equipment, good breakfast spread and 24x7 coffee.

Great location, could walk to many places in Waikiki including the beach. They have their own beach equipment which guests could borrow from, free of charge. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options and rotated everyday. The valet person, Arnel, was super nice, always available, and was able to give tips on which roads to avoid. The rooms could be a bit cleaner as some of the towels had some dark spots, but other than that it was a great place to stay. Would recommend to my friends!

First time in Hawaii and we chose Vive hotel for 3 nights. Arrived at 1:00 pm and the told us the check in was at 03:00pm but they can arrange to give us a room for $40 dollars early check in fee. Honestly for that time we think that was overpriced if you have rooms available for check in. This is the only thing that we consider they can make it better. The location of the hotel is really good. 2 blocks from Waikiki Beach, literally 3 minutes walking and you are at the beach. Plenty of places to eat, walk, buy in the heart of Waikiki. The breakfast is a plus. Fruits, breads, eggs, sausage, coffee and water stations. Nice touch of umbrellas, beach chairs, towels and small isolated bags for guest. The rooms is really nice, small fridge, TV and the only downside is the old A/C system but it was ok, not chilly but do the job. Nice room to stay, the white noise of the A/C cancel another noises around. Comfortable bed, small closet with hangers. I recommend this place and will back.

Love this place! Great price and excellent service from the staff. This is our hidden gem for lodging in Waikiki. Central to all shopping and dining in Waikiki. Highly recommended.

So they're actually very nice in this hotel, only the rooms are cleaned to perfection, if cleaned at all, the food is good, the staff are on point when it comes to food, it's just a shame that no one understands German. It's only five minutes to the beach, very nice but otherwise very expensive Pave a beer 10 dollar bingo

Front desk and Valet service were great and very helpful. Could not ask for better services.
Rooms: Rooms are small but you won't be in it long.
