Spent over 1,000 dollars for the visit and the doctor misdiagnosed my cat with a cold and sent us home when she had an infected anal gland that exploded later that night causing my cat intense pain. Went to another vet who actually thoroughly examined my cat and found the abscess and prescribed the right medication and antibiotic the next day.

We adopted two cats from the Humane Society and took them here to be checked. The staff have all been incredible, Dr. Lee is our favorite. They really seem to care about the well-being of our new additions. It has been easy to get the help we need pretty quickly.

The staff are all so wonderful! We just moved here and took the first appointment they had. Only a few days out. And they have evening appointments too! Ryan Casuga was the DVM we saw and he was amazing! Will be our Vet until we move again in 3 yrs.

My fur babies has been going here, Alii Hospital for about 2 years? Anyway,I have been thru alot of Veterinarias, trust me. I find this place amazing! All you people who had / have been giving negative reviews, think first before leaving you negative thoughts! If you find that you are not happy with the service you received then communicate with your VETERINARIAN! Try to work it out, dont use,"Your Review" as a weapon to get back! Geezzzzz! I understand your frustration, trust me.I LOVE MY BABIES,just like you! These people who leave their negative thoughts, you do know that you are playing with their livelihood, Just "Communicate" with them FIRST! . My Veterinarian is Dr. Yasunaga,I LOVE her,as do my pets. She is the bomb . She will take the time to explain what she did, what they (my pets) need, and go far and beyond her duties to make sure the customers are satisfied! She has "EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS"! This is what all companies need these days! This is for Dr. Yasunaga's Director( boss). "DR.Y IS A KEEPER"! As a norm,I dont see alot of the other Vets, but I do know they are " GREAT"! Just work with them! Ohh,and their grooming section,Oh MY GOD! If you need your pet(s) groomed, go and ask for "Manny" and or "Jess". They have more Groomers, but I have not used them yet. The "Front Ladies" who check you in,AWESOME! They are all so "SWEET" and "ALWAYS" on top of it!So...I would say a "5 STAR" for this company is in order! So try this place out,you have nothing to lose, only to gain..(if our pets could only spark)they would tell You! Thank you again "ALII HOSPITAL"!

Do not go to any VCA. I literally was making a life and death decision for our dog and Dr. Sia said over the phone, "Make sure you get the deposit" to her nurse. They dont care about your pet, only want your money. They know your pet is injured, and you are backed in a corner and try to add charge on charge. Their only goal is to make money.

Recently adopted a puppy from the Humane Society and was told to follow up with VCA two weeks after for additional vaccines. Cool, made an appointment online easy peasy, and waited for the day to arrive. However, a few hours before our scheduled appointment with VCA, I received a call from their office that they do not follow Humane Society's recommended vaccine schedule and would not vaccinate my puppy as requested. Super disappointing and frustrating to hear this, particularly as when I pressed them as to why they don't follow the Humane Society's recommendation, they doubled-back saying that if they followed the Humane Society's schedule then my puppy would have to come in every 2 weeks for a vaccine instead of every 4 weeks. Okay, so what? If it's my prerogative to vaccinate my dog every 2 weeks, then so be it. If it's not medically life threatening, then why don't you just do it?! As you can see from this exchange, the staff and vet (Dr. Kimura) are rude and patronizing, and do not see themselves as partners in your dog's care. It's not comforting to put my dog's life in the hands of someone who acts inconvenienced from doing their job. We cancelled our appointment and do not recommend them for your pet's care.

Royal ripoff on the favn antibody test for travel after rabies vaccinations were done. Without telling us, charged $610. for a test that costs $85. Won't negotiate. We've dumped them. Unethical corporate ripoff.

Dr. Casuga takes excellent care of my kitten Noodles. He helped guide me through several health issues she was having and answered all of my questions (I’m a first time cat owner).I’m so grateful to the staff here and am so glad to have VCA University.

My dog Stella had ACL surgery there and Dr. Severson did a great job. He followed up with me every few weeks to see Stella's progress. Then whole team is very attentive and friendly.

VCA University was amazing! I had a negative experience with VCA in California, and was nervous to try another. But right off the bat the staff was extremely friendly, informative, punctual, and kind. They give new patients a reduced price exam ($25) and gave me and my kitties some free items, such as a small scratched and a litter scoop. A very warm welcome after just moving to the island :)

The staff here is amazing, everyone I've been in contact with has shown nothing but compassion and care for my fur babies. My dog saw Dr. Casuga over the past five years and he helped in so many ways. He was very detailed in the visits and answering all of my questions, regardless if it was in person or via email. He helped put my mind at ease and always recommended treatments etc based on what he would do with his pet. That alone is worth gold as a pet owner you never really know what to do...it's always the question of what would the pet want. He never let me go away without giving all options. I don't have enough space to truly express my gratitude to him for his care of Cosmo. Dr. Tom & Dr. Kimura saw my kitty for the past five years and both were wonderful in helping her continue to live during her 15 years....she's still kicking! Since she is an indoor cat she didn't go very frequently but when she did they took great care of her. Bird doesn't like to leave the house and can get pretty stressed so Dr. Kimura gave her a bit more time to calm down to recheck her blood pressure. Bird had an issue with her eye and they recommended a great Ophthalmologist (didn't even know those existed!) which helped clear up her issue right away. Bird started having a weight issue over the last six months and the testing showed nothing specific to the cause however Dr. Kimura recommended a change in diet (I'm still working to transition) which I'm sure will help her. The support staff is also amazing and always friendly when I would call to inquire about various things from prescription food, appointments, sending medical records to another vet and receiving the pets once COVID restrictions limited in office visits. The support staff was very efficient in submitting my insurance claims for both pets and I only had to follow up once out of the 20 claims I did over the years. I'm very sad I won't have this team there to support me through their transition as both are senior animals with only a few years left at most. Many mahalos for the care your team provided.

Deciding to bring my pup here was the best decision. Dr Noda is so caring and helpful, every little question I had she answered. The rest of the staff is awesome as well. My puppy was spayed yesterday and they treated her so amazing. I have never felt comfortable leaving my dogs at a vet but here is different. They care for you pups as if they are their own.

The vet here is very nice and i like the care that they gave my dog the couple of times i went here. The only down fall is that they are always busy and have to find out where they can squeeze you in for an appointment.
