Valia Honolulu is a cute little locally owned boutique located in the shopping district of Chinatown. They feature unique clothing, gifts and more. This store is one of my daughters favorite places to shop. They carry Hawaiian themed toys, books and stuffed crocheted toys. There is a nice assortment of hand crafted baby and children's clothes and infant accessories. (There are no mass produced imported items.) They also carry some tropical women's clothing and accessories including totes and bags. There was also some jewelry. The shop is cute and upscale. The clerk is friendly and engaging. She promoted some of the new children's items to us during our visit. There is a great selection of unique gifts. There is limited street parking if you arrive early. There is also a parking garage within the block.

Our family recently visited Hawaii for 2 weeks from Toronto, Canada and during our vacation we went for a stroll through Downtown Honolulu to grab a bite to eat. We stopped into this store Valia because it looked very nice from the outside. We entered the store with our three children and were warmly welcomed by a staff member. The staff member was super nice and she told us about their products and a charity that they were currently involved in. Our children were around and about the store touching things but the staff and owner who we met as well were so nice, welcoming, and accepting. Their products are quality, unique, and beautiful. We didn't end up buying anything but even so, the owner took her time to tell us about Downtown Honolulu and she recommend some places to eat and local shops to visit. The owner and staff member were so nice that we left feeling sad that we didn't buy anything, as the store and products were so nice. I had to write this review to acknowledge such genuinely nice people and excellent Clothing & Gift Boutique in Honolulu.

Shopaholic sure helps the economy!Valia Honolulu has super sweet selection that's been teasing my Instagram feeds, everything from casual clothing to dressed up comfy along with fun and cool accessories and jewelries you're sure to find something for yourself or that special friend which you're easily complete the package with a cute card.Filled also with several familiar small local business by women that I've grown to be familiar with it's just a breath of fresh air to see this community support. There is a section for the little ones gosh super cute items I wished I had as I loved food play toys...lol it's no surprise I Yelp knowing this.Parking is the real struggle, if you're lucky to have found street parking nearby grab it as there's so much to see here though there is paid parking just steps behind it is pricy at $6 and hour. They're open Monday to Saturday from 11am-4pm I've stopped by several times only to be disappointed to see they were closed so you can conveniently browse online valiahonolulu.com and window shop also follow them on Instagram @valiahonolulu as they constantly posts updates and keep you on the know. Thank you!

I love shopping at Valia! It's such a lovely boutique with wonderful comfortable clothing, beautiful jewelry, and unique gift items. I don't get there very often, but when I do shop there, they are always welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Camille, the owner, is awesome. I love that she spends a lot of time and effort promoting local designers and trying to give back to the community. She is a great supporter of small businesses.

Valia is a gem of a shop! She has so many wonderful local finds--everything from clothing, jewelry, bags, stationery, and more! Genuine no BS customer service is so hard to come by nowadays, so I really appreciate the owner's kindness, her heart to serve the community and local small businesses.

I found Valia Honolulu through Instagram and on/off following since their first store on Hotel Street (now located on Bethel Street - don't want to confuse anyone). When the pandemic started this year...I really liked their message of carrying and supporting local businesses. I've done both in-store and online shopping. Big note about in-store shopping. It's all appointment bookings, at this time, via their site ( Only one party is allowed inside. Masks are REQUIRED throughout your shopping experience. If you use the changing rooms, the garment is taken to be cleaned away from the inventory on the sales floor. The cash register has a divider and there are floor markings. Valia Honolulu's online store is always open too. I've leaned more towards online shopping since the pandemic began. The owner, Camille, is great with updating it. I highly recommend following them too for updates (@valiahonolulu). Shipping and handling estimated is 3 days and it arrived quick too. Since holiday season is coming up then this will change. Camille always packages it with tissue paper, boxes, and a handwritten note. Its the little things that make it sweet! During this year's Black Friday, they hosted events like a YWCA donation and sales throughout November. The donation was a clothing drive for a Dress for Success program. I love the message of supporting the local community too. :) Camille is incredibly sweet. I spoke with her when I needed to exchange sizes. She was amazing to accommodate me which I am very appreciative of. The brands here like Elly Rose Jewelry, Twiggy Hawaii, Laha'ole, Kulua Maui, and more are majority Hawaii locals. It is so hard picking my favorite items...I'm a big fan of Valia Honolulu! The last items I picked up were gifts like a lunch bag from Twiggy Honolulu, the Haunani top from Laha'ole, and washi tape by Rebecca Jane Woolbright. The stuff there is so cute. I nearly dropped to my knees when the Valia x The Umbrella Collective x Garden Collective purses came out. There is a tote and crossbody...I ordered the teal crossbody. The color is unique while the leather is super soft. Another takeaway...even if I did not find the size or item from Valia then I would use that as reference to find the official site/Instagram of the local brand then give a 'follow'. Camille wrote several blogs about the owners like Tanya from Lahaole to give insight. I really like shopping with Valia Honolulu! Your experience with them goes beyond just an order rather a big hug and connection to the local/smaller brands too.

I. Love. Valia. Great clothing pieces are hard to come by so I was pleasantly surprised when I found this store. Their customer service is phenomenal (I'm a picky and demanding customer) - C was patient, gentle, and even comforting! I highly recommend all women to shop at Valia~~

Very cute clothes and jewelry! I love this clothing boutique in downtown. Its right across from fighting eel so its perfect for when you want to go clothes shopping. The cashier was very nice and patient even though they were closing in 30 minutes. She let me take my time and helped me pick out a few things. I bought a Noelani top and dress. My only complaint is that the fabric isnt wrinkle free and they're both a tad too long on me. If you're 5'1 then you understand the struggle lol definitely looking forward to shopping here again

I found my engagement shoot dress here the day before our photography session! I am 5ft tall and the floral maxi I found was perfect for me with heels, which never happens with maxi dresses. They have a fantastic selection of stylish dresses, tops, skirts, apparel, and accessories. Their selection is seriously right up my alley - I love light fabrics, florals, and bohemian looks. Staff were super friendly and prices weren't too bad. They have a great online selection too - check 'em out! Parking is a bit tough in this area so we had to circle around a bit.

Valia is located across fort street mall, think adjacent to fighting eel, JJ dolans. I don't frequent Chinatown/downtown often because of parking and I hate driving there, but there are a handful of stores in this area that make it worth it, including Valia. I'm a big supporter of local businesses so what I like about Valia is that all the items sold are from local retailers. So of course it is more on the pricey end but the pieces are unique and well made. The boutique also holds a variety of women's clothing, jewelry, as well as home and baby items (yay!). I like to describe The items sold there as: local, island, boho, trendy, chic.. which is just my style. The owner is also super down to earth and friendly! So of course I just HAVE support a local business that supports local business. Hoping for a continued bright future for Valia, and I'm looking forward to coming back for a shopping trip!

Super cute store, very well-kept and beautiful layout. I was excited to finally come here after seeing all their cute clothes on Instagram, but I wish there was a little bit more variety in terms of brands and sizes, but I get that it's a small boutique. There was one worker when I went in the morning, and she was pretty sweet and made small talk while I paid.

Valia Honolulu has a carefully curated collection of beautiful clothing. I no longer live in Hawaii, but I always find great pieces that are versatile. It is a must stop every time I'm in town. I get so many compliments on the clothes I buy at Valia. Great location (with parking) and even better customer service. Check it out!
