TRIED TO RIP ME OFF… WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS… GO TO “FROM THE HEART” ITS RIGHT DOWN THE STREET!!! %100 BETTER!!Family matters made it so I found a box full of old 1996 pocket monster, 1st edition shadowless, and regular Pokémon cards. All old BASE SET. They claimed all were ruined and then tried to offer me $5 for a 1996 pocket monster Charizard… The card is NO WHERE near mint but even a “damaged” card (which mine are not) Goes for well over $5… they then proceeded to pretend to look though my cards and only grab the “valuable ones” they saw at the top. Then claimed they were “water damaged”, “bent” “lot of humidity in Hawaii, they curled” you name it… I WASN’T trying to sell them, I only wanted help understanding where I can learn more about them and if I should even consider grading them. They said none were worth anything, and most I get for the good one are $5… BEFORE GOING IN I DID A LITTLE RESEARCH AND KNEW THEY WERE LYING THROUGH THEIR TEETH… but to see it first hand is EMBARRASSING and down right wrong!!!SUPPORT A SMALL BUSINESS RIGHT DOWN THE STREET FROM THIS PLACE…I went to another store literally right down the street, called “From the Heart.” Not only did the store look a million times better, had a wider selection and AMAZING PRICES. They walked me through the whole process on how to see what they ACTUALLY go for on the TGC WEBSITE… Ken(the guy who helped me at “from the heart”) then proceeded to give me a 800 card storage box, and a stack full of 100 ish cards to fill the empty space FOR FREEEEE!!!! He wished me luck and hoped for the best.Summary: NEVER GO TO THIS WEIRD TOY SHOP UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF, go to the shop right down the street for better prices, better customer service, and HONEST PEOPLE!!!!!!EDIT!!!: I obviously know what a first edition shadowless card is, I have over 800 cards I can’t take pictures of them all. The ones I took pictures of are just A FEW that your employees said are only worth $5.. AGAIN I WASNT TRYING TO SELL THEM… If you like send me your email I’ll take pictures of every last one of them to show you! :) Your employees chose to withhold information about my cards to me which is SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICE…they chose to only pick what they deemed worth money and low balled me… end of story. I WASNT TRYING TO SELL THEM!!! I wanted simple info that they also chose not to give me. I asked if I can look them up or find a price and they kept skipping over it and saying “it’s only worth $5.” PLEASE PLEASE give me your email I’m more than happy to give you a full detail story with pictures of every last one of my cards if that makes you happy. ?I now know what they are really worth, either you have clueless employees or they were lying through their teeth… which one is it????

This used to be a great place but I think the employees forgot about the players who supported them all these years.

Went in to buy some Pokemon singles for my daughter. The initial person I talked to didn't seem terribly helpful, but he did pass me off to someone who helped me use their in-store inventory tablet that seemingly connects to their TCG player singles storefront.I really liked this setup as it was relatively easy to get cards from various sets. This salesperson, Daniel, was very patient with us and was very kind to my daughter as I helped her pick out her cards.Every time we visit Oahu, we'll be back!

Another day of driving all the way from Pearl city to Town, just for them to tell us yet again that they didn’t have the product in stock.I’m giving this a 1 star this time around because this is the 3rd time that we have come here and there one or two boxes on the shelf and the guys behind the counter around 4:00 pm, to say “oh those are already sold and are not for sale” WHY PUT IT ON THE SHELF THEN?? We come into the store assuming that the boxes were for sale and up for grabs to purchase, just like everyone else would assume it be, only for it to be sold but no sold tag on the box.I swear, this is why we rarely come here because it’s always “who you know” or if you have connections with those who work there, that they’ll save you booster boxes for you to buy (excluding the public).Honestly, it’s also probably because we aren’t from here that the decisions are made it to be that way.

Great spot that has a wide selection of cards for a pretty cheap price. Nice and helpful staff who helped me to get my cards which were unavailable and got some singles instead. Good place to check for collectors!

I absolutely love this card shop! ToyLynx has everything you need that’s related to trading cards. A lot of sealed products to buy from here and they also have weekly trading card game tournaments depending on the genre. I go here mostly for the Pokemon tournaments on Saturdays. Totally recommend checking it out!

Toylynx also houses Ideal808. They specialize in trading card games and host a lot of events. Today in the store it looked like Pokémon but in the near by food court of Dole Cannery we're the Yu-Gi-Oh games. They carry Magic the Gathering and Pokémon cards as well. There's other card games there too (I'm just not familiar with them) Parking can be a little tough since it's connected with the Costco parking but if you find a spot the location of the store is easily accessible. Catch Ideal808 streams for some fun and entertaining times. Some amazing pills have happened live.

To get to Toylynx by car, park in the lot between Costco and Dole Cannery. Google maps mistakenly will take you to the front of the shopping center and there is no parking there unless you’re walking. Customer service was amazing and my son found what he wanted. They’re so helpful and the store is clean and tidy.

I dropped of Magic: The Gathering cards two weeks ago and heard nothing from them. I went in and they gave me one of the most insultingly low-ball offers I've ever seen. I had a Shivan Dragon, Royal Assassin from Revised and a Frozen Shade from Alpha. They offered me $14 total. I understand that businesses need to make profit too, I also work in collectibles, but there's a difference between making profit and ripping someone off. Those three cards in the grade they were in are at least $40 wholesale, and about $55-$60 retail. Needless to say I am very upset with this kind of dishonesty; I do not believe they ever intend to honor their buylist promised prices. I'm not giving one star because the guy at the counter knew what was going on but saw it as a bad thing and was obviously in agreement with my opinion on what the bosses were doing. To that guy, props for being honest and I hope you find a better place to work that isn't full of low-balling chooches.

An excellent place for all your cardboard needs. Just remember to bring a mask, if you forget one the staff might have one for you.
