Surf Paws did a great job helping my dog with her baby teeth removal and teeth cleaning. They are reasonably priced and quickly were able to schedule. Everyone is very friendly and helpful!

We recently moved to Hawaii Kai from Maui. Ended up needing to take our pooch to a vet. We chose Surf Paws because their website made the group look more intimate. Dr Cristina Miliaresis was great. We appreciated that she didn't over-prescribe a solution. Her technicians were really wonderful. Ended up having to take our guy in for something else. Dr. Miliaresis was very thorough and reduced some of my internal panic. Our pooch is recovering. Received a follow-up call from Dr. Miliaresis to see how he was doing. We've never had that before. Can't say enough wonderful things about r. Miliaresis and her team.

We needed same day help as our cats face was swelling on one side. Surf Paws gave us a same day appointment. They were so kind & asked us a lot of questions to determine what might have happened & they were spot on with a potential scuffle with another cat who keeps coming in our yard. They did a procedure to ease her discomfort & we left with antibiotics not in banana liquid form but in a little crushable tablet! Yes the banana medicine is a nightmare with cats lol. The bill was graciously less than we'd expected. Our cat is on the mend. Thanks Surf Paws! I'll be signing up my other two pets with you. They'll be in great hands.

Best veterinarian this side of the island! Dr. M is very informative and helpful. Staff is friendly and treats you like family. They really seem to care about your pets. Prices are fair.

I started bringing my cat Oliver to Surf Paws in 2021, and I am so glad I did! Oliver used to hate going to his previous vet. He would meow (which he never does) in the car, and tremble in their exam room. And after I brought him home from his annual checkup, he would be lethargic the whole day. This is definitely not the case with Surf Paws. Oliver explores the exam room, and purrs while Dr. M and her staff examine him, and is a very happy boy during and after his yearly checkup. I am a hands on Cat Mom, and Dr. M and her staff are amazing! They are so great with the animals and humans! Ordering food is also a breeze! You just give them a call or send an email and in a few days your food is ready for pickup. I can schedule any type of appointment online, whether it be a yearly exam or a nail trim. Thank you Surf Paws for giving Oliver such amazing care! I wish I would have come to you when he was just a baby!

Our 14 year old cat started to rapidly lose weight for about three weeks. We called Surf Paws and quickly secured an appointment. Our first visit, we were immediately greeted by friendly staff and ushered into a private screening room. Within a minute, our frightened cat was tended to by Dr Cristina Miliaresis. We agreed to a lab blood test to determine the cause of our cat's rapid weight loss. A few days later, we received a call by the doctor confirming that our family cat has kidney disease in need of treatment. Our next appointment was immediately confirmed.This experience is all new to me since our indoor cats have been drama free for years. The staff and doctors answered my questions, explained our cat's options in an easy to understand manner and treated us with professionalism. I'm glad we called Surf Paws. We want compassionate care for our mature cat during her remaining time with us.

We just moved to the island with our dog and cat and needed to establish a new vet. Our vet in Virginia was amazing so we were worried who would be next in line to take care of our fury kids—then we found Surf Paws…what a blessing! Located in a small plaza in Hawaii Kai behind Roy’s, this business provides exceptional veterinary services. It was super easy to make an appointment with them, and the staff from the techs to Veterinarian were extremely polite, friendly, caring, and professional. We have a rescue dog that suffers from severe PTSD and trusts no one except my wife and me—the staff had him on a table, calmed, relaxed eating treats out of their hand during the exam—that says a lot right there. If you need a great vet who cares about your pets, I highly recommend you check out surf paws. ??

We've been going to Surf Paws for a year as we have an aging cat. All was great until today. I get to the office early and sit. A lady was there with a dog she was holding, and she did the whole "my dog loves cats" routine and then placed her dog on the table, looking directly at my scared cat. I got up and moved, and she went into a "Karen" tirade, using the F word and screaming loudly for all to hear. NO ONE IN THE OFFICE DID OR SAID ANYTHING. I sat with my eyes closed until she finally stopped. About 3-4 minutes. I brought my cat today because he is old and dying. My concerns about my cat were ignored as the vet pushed pain meds on me that I knew my cat wouldn't take. I am the one who has lived with him for 17 years. Not her. Yet she pushed and pushed, so I paid for the stupid meds. Then the tech, who was in the office the whole time and heard me repeatedly say that the cat does not do oral meds, told me to put it in his mouth like so. Bloody moron. This vet wants me to prolong a life of a cat who will be in pain just from me forcing meds on him. No empathy at this office at all. We will NEVER go back.

The most "ethical" and honestly priced veterinarian clinic you can go to is here. My fur baby is a 5lb Pomeranian and I have been so happy with this vet practice! We saw both Dr. Kristina and Dr. Kingsly, both incredibly knowledge and caring. You can clearly see that ALL these folks are in it for the dogs and their owners. Really impressed, and I'm hard to impress! Thanks for taking care of all our babies! :)

I started bringing my 4 animals here after hearing someone rave about Dr. M! She is great and so far the staff here have been nothing but kind and helpful. I was taking my animals to VCA Gentle Vets and what a nightmare that was. If you're looking for a great vet for your furry friend, Surf Paws has a great team!
