This is the cutest little shop in Waialae with all the local goodies- perfect for holiday shopping! The pieces here are very unique and has products/ art from a ton of different local artists and artisans. Everything here is really local-fyed and trendy. I love taking mainland visitors here so they can have a unique Hawaii keepsake or so they can go shopping for friends and family back home. The past few times I came here, I got a gift for my mom and for someone who I was going to their house for the first time. Both of those times I bought Aloha Aina aromatherapy candles and soaps. When I've come here browsing for myself, I've gotten zodiac themed jewelry, a cute cellphone charm, and a hair clip. The space might be small but the selection is vast and curated- you never know what goodies you'll find!

Sweet little shop filled with tons of lovely gift ideas for yourself or someone special! There is a children’s section in the rear of the store. I found a couple of board books and other goodies for my granddaughter. The person who helped me was very sweet and kind. I look forward to visiting again.

I just love this little shop! It’s tiny, but has a great selection of cute high quality items, most locally made. I usually go inn for a gift and then can’t resist buying something for myself… Easy parking too (with 15 min grace period if you’re a quick shopper!)

Such a cute boutique!!!!! They had a large variety of merchandise, with something for everyone. I bought a beautiful shell and a few bracelets, made on the north shore, for gifts.

Sugarcane shop offers sweet quality Hawaiian products for everyone. Plus owner Kennedy creates her own magical one-of-kind bead and semi-previous jewelry. She is outgoing, approachable and helpful. I always enjoy visiting my neighborhood Sugarcane store and proud of its landmark designs. Highly recommend this chic shop for all your personal gifts. Mahalo!

Another disappointment in Kaimuki, no hello, no acknowledgment. No wonder no one was in the shop.

This store is very hidden and very underrated! I love visiting this store to see what's new and what I can buy for myself and my friends! This store carries lots of local island-made favorites (soaps, tea towels, candles, keychains, jewelry) as well as island-inspired gifts for adults and kids. They have baby accessories and books too! I love how they have a few vintage glassware pieces mixed in to the well-organized and staged shelves. Parking is inside a paid lot, at a very low rate. Make sure you visit this store when you're in Kaimuki!

A fun place to shop for made in Hawaii gifts to send to folks on the mainland or for yourself or a friend! Support local! Items range from jewelry to clothing to soap and lotion to macramé plant hangers and even cute mushroom pegs to stick into your potted plant. There are even Hawaiian themed children's books by local authors. If you are parking in the big parking lot on 11th Ave to eat somewhere be sure to take a few minutes to stop and browse inside Sugarcane before or after eating.

Tucked in a small shopping center off of 11th Avenue, Sugarcane is an absolutely adorable shop for cards, gifts, jewelry, notebooks, purses, bags, trinkets, collectibles - you name it! All of their products have that Hawaiian feel to it, so if you're buying for someone or yourself, you feel like you have a piece of Hawaii. Find it and stop by!

9-25-21 Third stop during my When On Waialae exploration. As I entered the shop, co-owner Kennedy asked me something like what have you been up to today? That caught me by surprise in a nice way, acknowledging my presence. My answer, I'm visiting some shops on the WOW event. She asked where have I been so far... Cool, we were the only ones in the shop so we had time to chit chat before I took a stroll around this shop filled with carefully selected items for sale. Struck a genuine interest in the one time fanatic craft fair goer in me. So many lovely items...I settled on about 7+ tiny items for a special someone whose birthday is next week. As I was being rung up a necklace caught my eye. Thank goodness for the 20% discount off one item- ooh yay, happy me! Hopefully I might wear it in La Jolla soon. Kennedy wrapped the items in tissue for me after using correction tape to white out the prices and placed them in a cute white tote bag. So glad I told hubs( who was waiting in his AC car) that I wanted to venture out and check out a few highlighted shops. I knew that with him in tow I had to be strategic before the his nap time attack appeared. Thankyou Kennedy, Yelp & Jess for setting up this exclusive adventure. So many nice shops, so little time. For the soul shoppers, truly a shop til you drop excellent event.

What a super cute little shop! Loved that this place has so many hand crafted items from local artist. When I walked in I felt welcome by the brightness of the light that filled the little shop also by the friendly cashier that greeted me upon entering. I enjoyed browsing around admiring all the interesting unique items and walked out with 2 beautifully scented candles. Thanks to Yelps check in I scored 20% off one regular priced item! If you're looking for a unique gift for yourself or someone special I recommend checking this place out!

This local small business is a gem! Located in the Propark parking area this store is so cozy and filled with artistic crafts from local artist in Aloha state. I am glad that I stumbled on this store. Sabina, the owner is such a sweet woman and we had this lovely mini conversation upon checking out.My money is worth supporting local business like this.

Was not prepared to be open, ground was covered with leaves for outside dining, sugarcane mai tai tasted like rotten fruit but was told that it was good. Out of several alcohol choices before we could find a drink they could make. Food was mediocre, dry and not what I expected. Service was okay, but definitely wouldn't go again or recommend.

Outstanding customer service!I placed an online order and mistyped my shipping address, so I sent an email to Sugarcane Shop hoping to change the address prior to the items being shipped (I didn’t have high hopes that anything could be done but figured it was worth a shot). Not only did a representative from Sugarcane Shop email me back right away, they called me to confirm that they updated the address and made a critical suggestion regarding the product I had purchased. The original purchase was for two bracelets. I had the option to write a little note, so I did, and indicated that the bracelets were intended for my nieces. The representative proceeded to ask me the age of my nieces and suggested getting alternative bracelets not listed on the site that would be more suited to fit small, child size wrists. Not only was the representative quick to correct my error, but also made a fantastic suggestion in the process.Customer for life <3
