We grew up knowing Iida's as a child and through my adulthood, later with my child. Generations of Hawaii folks know Iida's. I was so heartbroken when they were no longer at Ala Moana Shopping Mall. I reminisce and think of shopping there whenever I pass their old corner location. I will try to make a better effort of shopping Iida's when a gift is needed, or when I need something.

I was in desperate need of sake cups for a special occasion I am hosting tomorrow (yes I waited till the last minute) and my mom said I should check out Iida's. I remembered them being at the mall but didn't know they were still around, so I looked them up and was surprised to see they are still in business!I was about to walk there since Yelp says they are on Kona Street. I noticed the previous reviewer mentioned that they no longer have a storefront, so I decided to call to make sure before I started walking over. Thank goodness I did!So basically you can look at items on their website and call, they were able to deliver the items to me in the Ala Moana area. Cash or check only (I asked about venmo and was told they do not accept venmo)Thank you so much Iida's for your quick service! (I would recommend that you remove the address on Yelp just to eliminate any confusion though) :)

Needed Japanese clippers for my needle crafts and they had them! Went to their website and found out their brick and mortar store in Kona St. isn't there anymore but you can call and order and someone will meet you wherever to deliver your goods and you can pay by cash or Venmo/PayPal
