I had to bring my 2015 Forester because a light went on in the car. I bought it in and they were very efficient to fix the problem. I got my car back after work. No problem fixing my car. Brandon was very helpful.

My husband and I were looking for a car for our business. We knew we wanted a pre owned certified Subaru Forester because we had a budget that we had to work with. After visiting multiple dealerships we ended up at Servco Subaru Kaimuki. We were paired w Zhi. He was very knowledgeable about the car/Subaru/Servco as a company and led w honesty. He and his manager worked w us and helped us get a beautiful car for our business! Exactly what we were looking for all while taking care of us. I also learned a lot about Servco as a business, and how they are truly a dealership w the locals in mind.Zhi even checked in on me the day after to see if I had any questions and to reach out to him anytime if I need. Great customer service is so rare these days. Our experience at Servco Subaru Kaimuki was a breath of fresh air. Mahalo Zhi & Manager (kinda like the Wizard of Oz/man behind the curtain)! We truly feel like we got a deal for such a beautiful car, and everything else they did to help. Not your typical car buying experience.I highly recommend. Not to mention Subarus are the safest cars! Ask for Zhi! He's da man

I highly recommend using Zhi Yan for your car buying experience. He made the entire process easy while also being super friendly throughout the process. From the beginning, his communication was always excellent as he kept me up to date on a car that was being heavily pursued by multiple parties. Making a deal happen with him and his manager was effortless and reasonable. I have zero complaints and look forward to working with Zhi again

I needed to service my car. The appointment was easy to schedule online and they sent a text reminder. Drop off was easy, Dan was assisting me to be sure my car was being serviced correctly. The servicing was quick. Great experience.

I gave a very detailed and bad review and rating of Servco Subaru, based on their estimate of repairing my car's air conditioner. They quoted almost $4,000, and I ultimately had the car repaired for $89. In response to my review they replied that a manager would contact me. Two points: my air conditioner continues to work well and no manager from Servco Subaru ever contacted me. Thus, my one star rating was generous!Another month has passed. My car's air conditioning is still working fine. No manager has yet to speak with me per Subaru's one response to my first or second review. No doubt, Servco Subaru has little interest in their customers or the service that they provide.

2023 update: GO SEE KIRK! We have been buying cars from him for 10+ years now both new and used. 7 cars and counting. I'm the first reviewer for Servco Subaru Kaimuki on Yelp back in 2013. We just picked up a brand new 2023 Forester Sport. Buying a new car tends to be stressful and exhausting *except* with Kirk. He's the only sales guy we went to see this time around (Toyota is always our go-to) and it was such a relief. We have always liked Subaru but typically go through the grueling process of buying at Toyota out of habit when we buy new. We were debating on the Premium/Sport/Limited trims, we test drove two and decided on the Sport with the upgrade package which included the rear parking sensors, power lift gate, and upgraded stereo. Kirk is super knowledgeable (I'm the car guy in our family so I'd know) and understands everyone is on a budget.Zero pressure, he made sure we got the applicable discounts (they run promos such as a small discount for military or teachers for brand new Subarus) and we got a fair price for our trade in. No hard upsell on the extras but we did opt for tint which is via T&T Tinting. Kirk kept us updated on the status of our car leaving the main Servco storage lot, to when it arrived in Kaimuki, to when it was going for tint and when it would be available for pick up. I asked to pick it up early to accommodate our schedule and he made it happen with no hesitation. We secured financing with Hawaii Law Enforcement FCU (best interest rate by far these days!) and pick up day was a breeze. He was excited for us, explained all the features, and made the final paperwork easy. I'm very particular and thorough and he has the patience of a saint. I trust him implicitly and have referred many people to him because I know they're in good hands. We've bought cars from all the major dealers on the island and our most recent purchase prior to this was a 2023 Tacoma which we almost walked away from, the finance guy at Toyota was unbearable and we were paying cash! Anyway, it was such an easy and stress free experience with Kirk and we are thoroughly enjoying our new Forester. Kirk, thank you as always and I'm sure we'll be seeing you again!

Easiest car buying experience I've ever had. I wanted to get a 2023 BRZ in World Rally Blue. I stopped by the dealer on a whim in mid-March 2023. I test drove another BRZ with Jarrod. Loved it. Asked about the buying process and if this car had any marks ups because some dealers are notoriously marking up its twin the GR86 upwards of $5k on the mainland. Jarrod assured me that Servco--whether that's Toyota or Subaru--doesn't do markups. The other car I was looking at, the 2023 Civic Si also had a $5-6k non negotiable markup by all three Honda dealers on island. For me, the choice was simple. I left Team Honda which I have owned exclusively for 15+ years and moved over to Team Subaru.Since you have to special order this car from Japan in the post-covid/tight supply chains new world order in 2023, I put down a deposit for a WRB BRZ a couple days later. Jarrod showed me my VIN & stock number for my allocation which had already been built. He even showed me that he put me on their internal Servco-wide spreadsheet to ensure no one else would snag that allocation. I left thinking my car would be ready in 2-3 months...In May, I get a text from Jarrod with the stock number saying my car was finished with production and would be shipping from Japan soon. Confused, because the car I put a deposit on had *already been built*, I checked the stock number he sent with the text and the one on my order sheet and they didn't match up. What's the deal? Apparently, another customer got the allocation I thought was going to me because that person had put in their deposit sooner. None of this behind the scenes stuff was communicated to me until I asked about the two different stock numbers. I think they thought I wouldn't notice the difference in stock numbers. I did.To be honest, I was really upset. Delays happen. I get it. Mix ups happen. That's ok too. But I should have been made aware of what exactly was going on. I wasn't informed of any of it. Had I not broached the issue, I doubt if they would have said anything. If all the Honda dealers on island didn't have a markup on their Civic Sis, I would have went a different way. I was that put off.So while the car was making its way here I continued to shop around and almost bought a WRX from the other Subaru dealer on island. But it was sold by the time I could stop in for a test drive. There are only so many manual trans cars these days...Fast forward to June and I get a text from Jarrod saying my BRZ is at the port and will be at the dealer in a few days. I make an appointment at 10am on a Saturday. I did a quick walk around and test drive. The only thing we had to negotiate was my trade. They really lowballed me. I went back with a price that I wouldn't go below (in retrospect I should have said something a bit higher). They accepted the offer. Protip: know what your trade is worth by going to any number of websites first & always ask for more because their finance manager or used car manager (whoever makes that decision) will lowball your trade. There's nothing untoward about this, that's just the game & dealerships for you. Since I already had my financing set there was really nothing else left to do but sign the forms. They didn't even try to push the extended warranties very hard. All in all, a great, easy, quick process at the dealer. Two hours later, I was driving my new BRZ home. Despite the allocation communication hiccup, all other interactions between Jarrod, Servco, & me were great. Very easy dealer to work with and I would 100% recommend anyone looking for a Subaru to give Jarrod and the folks at Servco Kaimuki a chance.

If customer service is important to you when purchasing a car, then Subaru Kaimuki is a great place to start. I went into Subaru Kaimuki twice in a week to test drive a car to see if it was really what I wanted. I first met Arvi who was really kind and gave me a great and detailed explanation of the features of the car. The second time I went in, I worked with Jarrod. He was very personable, likable, and knowledgeable about the different cars and helped me to compare which ones offer the best prices and which has the best safety features. I ended up purchasing a new car that day and Jarrod made the process so simple and did his best to help with financing as much as he could. Will be looking forward to bringing my new car here to get serviced as I know I'll be greeted with a smile. Can't go wrong with subaru!

My wife just bought a 2024 Crosstrek from Matt and the entire experience was really enjoyable. We had gone to several different dealers to shop around and some were good and some were bad. However, Matt was great and they had a car that had all the features my wife wanted. After the sale, Matt walked my wife through all the options of the car and took some cash off the total price. Overall A+ experience unlike some other dealers we had been to the last few weeks.

I just got back from a terrific experience of buying a new car. My wife and I went to Servco Subaru in kaimuki. We had previously had poor experiences at two different dealerships, so I was not optimistic. We just happened to get the sales consultant Sierra Clapham. This man knows his cars! My wife and I had been planning on getting another vehicle for quite some time, and she had set her heart on a new Subaru Forester. She had specific wants as far as colors etc. and Sierra did everything possible to find the right car for my wife. What makes this an exceptional experience, is that we were in and out of the dealership in about an hour and a half. If you've gone through the new car buyer experience, then you've likely had some nightmares with dealerships practically chaining you to the desk and telling you all sorts of stories and upselling you on every possible item. Sierra didn't do that. He calmly talked us through the add-ons, gave us a very succinct plus and minus of each add-on option, and was very knowledgeable about the value of each option. What made this such a terrific experience is the personal touch that Sierra gave. It was obvious he wasn't trying to sell us, he was trying to discern what we were looking for, and to see how he could help us with that. Very politely, he would let us know some options that we hadn't considered which gave us some things to think about....no pressure, very friendly local style, not in a rush, but just genuinely seem to be happy to help us . Did I already mention that this was a very pleasant experience?TLDR; I highly recommend if you're going to buy a new car, if you're going to buy a subaru, go to Kaimuki Servco and ask for Sierra Clapham. Other salespersons might do a decent job, but I don't know about them, what I do know is that Sierra will take excellent care of you, because that's what he did with us.I could give you a list of other car dealers where we've had bad experiences, but I don't want to throw shade on them. It's of much greater value to know someone that you can count on and who will help you, than to have a long list of people that you should try to avoid. I highly recommend Kaimuki Servco Subaru, and in particular the sales consultant Sierra Clapham.Absolute five stars! No doubt about it.

Efficient, friendly, a positive experience doing a seat sensor recall & inspection. Both locations @ Kaimuki/Maunaloa, the guys are quite good.
