I only yelp if I get exceptional service and this is what happened yesterday. I accompanied my friend to Subaru , both the new car area as well as the used car lot. We were fortunate that Mike Ak... was available at the Used Car Lot and greeted us as we walked in. We shared what we were looking for and he immediately showed us the cars my friend was interested in as well as the price range. He described the process as "trying on different shoes" and he wanted to be sure that she would make a decision based on her needs and wants. He listened to her and knew that he probably wouldn't make a sale that day but he still gave us exceptional service and attention that would lead to a future sale as well as referrals.

We had an amazing experience purchasing my grandfathers new Crosstrek. Huge mahalo to Matt Le and Joe Bolosan for their service. Specifically, Matt did an incredible job ensuring the vehicle was the right fit and overall equipment package to meet my grandfathers needs. Lastly, he invested quite a bit of time personalizing the vehicle for him and explaining the new features and capabilities of his new car. Very much appreciate both of them and would highly recommend for your next purchase.

One star to express my utmost disappointment and frustration with the abysmal level of service I have received. I have an ongoing issue with my Subaru that I first went for the ending of MARCH. It was a quick visit that ended with "we'll be in touch to set an appointment" (for warranty repairs). I called here and there to get a follow up in the weeks following with the same "the advisor is busy, he'll call you back". I finally got a call from someone in JULY saying my advisor left the company and another "I'll be in touch". It is now AUGUST and come to find out that person has been on vacation. Attempts to reach a service manager were also futile. I understand call volumes can be high, but to go days without a call back have left me feeling my time and concerns are undervalued.I had previously expected a higher level of service from Servco, but the lack of professionalism and poor communication has greatly tarnished my perception of this company. I hope steps will be implemented to assure future customers will not have to deal with the same level of disappointment and frustration.

This is an update to my previous Yelp review about my bad experience with a Subaru Mapunapuna Service Department Service Writer now trying to overcharge me from my first intial quote two weeks ago about changing my Steering Rack. It went from $1,500 first quoted by Service Writer Race Nam to now $1,700 plus by the current Service Writer who took over for Nam.At the end of my previous review the Business Manager texted an apology for my unsatisfactory bad experience with the new service writer and promised to take it up with the General Manager. Just to let you all know, there has been no reply or response from the General Manager to me thus far! Seems like Subaru only does this for all show, but no action!

This place was awesome in all aspects, but Jarrett was the bomb! As a young car shopper (22), i was nervous and scared that car dealers were going to rip me off haha. But Jarrett was the exact opposite, and made my experience of buying my first new car awesome! He didn’t rush me to buy, was very patient, and accommodating to my many requests. I was stuck debating two different models of the forester (the premium or wilderness), but Jarrett wasn’t forcing or pushing me to get the more expensive one. If anything he was adamant that I get the car that was realistic to my budget and lifestyle. Also his communication didn’t stop as I left the dealership, he followed up over the phone answering questions and concerns, provided information about documents needed for my loan, and suggested different accessories I could add if I was interested. Even though it’s been a couple months since I’ve bought the car, if I hit up Jarrett about anything in regard to the car he always answers! Which shows to me that I was more than a sale, and now I couldn’t be any more happier and satisfied to be apart of the Subaru fam!

Subaru Mapunapuna has amazing staff. Justin was able to get me a ballpark quote for services - and was spot on!They let me check my car in the night before so I wasn't working at the dealership the whole next day, and Race kept me updated on what work needed to be done before work was started. They were able to get my car done in one day. Definitely my preferred dealership on island!

One of the necessities of life is that eventually you are going to have to get a car from a car dealership. I usually buy used cars due to new car depreciation. But this time I wanted a brand new car. With COVID, supply chain/chip shortages, labor shortages, and high consumer demand (=gouging) I knew it was going to be difficult and there was only a set group of cars I was looking at. My wife and I went to a few dealerships with appointments but I didn't make an appointment at Servco. I guess I'm was thinking I'm a sucker for punishment. After a few minutes of looking at cars, Sales comes out and in my mind I'm thinking, "Ok, here we go with the usual Car Salesman scenario that I have nightmares over."Surprise!! Ryan Takushi greeted us, showed us a few cars, found the car I was looking for, went for a test drive, and gave us some information. I told him we had another appointment at another dealership and he was totally fine with that. -- NO PRESSURE!Price was as listed and no crazy markup due to demand. I have to say it was a the simplest car buying experience for me. Ryan was very communicative, texted me when the car was ready and followed up with emails to make sure I was happy. Bottom Line: well, I don't know if I'm going back to buy another car soon, but if I did need to, I'd give Ryan the first shot. BTW: it was a WRX - Save the Manuals.

It all started with a little noise...Had a rattling sound going on under our 2016 Subaru Forester and decided to go online to take a peeek at the 2023 models. Saw the Subaru Sport and reached out via email to take a closer look...The noise got louder and more concerning so I proceeded to go into the service center to have it fixed. I was informed that I may have to wait a bit before it gets looked at so I walked on over to the sales side to look for Ryan Takashi as he responded to my interest email. Well, the process began. We talked, looked at the inventory and then talked numbers. During this time, I received my text stating my 2016 was ready...I was shocked at how quickly it was completed. Something minuscule and Leahi was all better. I continued my conversation with Ryan and felt like I was speaking with an old friend. Told him I would go home and speak with my spouse regarding numbers/choices given and get back to him.Returned home, spoke with my spouse, ended up choosing a Forester Premium and let Ryan do his thing. All the while, instead of spending hours at the dealership we did this via text and phone calls. By the end of the day we scheduled our pick up for Saturday morning. Saturday morning arrives and let me say that this was absolutely without a doubt from beginning to end, the most efficient way of finalizing a new car sale. Ryan ensured we knew how each of the new features of the vehicle operated before we drove off the lot. He was patient, kind and knowledgeable every step of the way. Mahalo nui loa to Ryan and the team at Servco Subaru Māpunapuna for taking such great care of us.

No showroom, poor vehicle selection if any. Service Department has no waiting area other than a few chairs next to parts department. If you drop off your vehicle and have to wait for a ride they kick you outside even if raining and there are no outdoor seating areas, only concrete steps to wait. Raining outside now and waiting w other customers. Definitely a reflection of management and their commitment to customer service. Personally, I'd fire the business manager and find someone that is more engaged in customer service...Subaru vehicles are top quality vehicles and deserve better representation than this Dealership has to offer...unfortunately same management team runs the only 2 Dealerships on island... I love the sign in the window "We Care"

So I came here to check out what they got and I wasn't disappointed at all. Ryan Takushi helped thru it all. Everything went well but I didn't get the Forester because the interest rate my bank had to offer was a little out of hand even tho my trade in was somewhat ok. Didn't get the full blue book value (short by 2,000) but it is what it is. Will come back when I get a down payment and the interest rates get better!

Go to this location! Servco is kind of like the CarMax for Hawaii!!!They don't mark up like every other dealership! There's no need for negotiation because they give you the price without games. It's a wonder, refreshing experience.Unfortunately there are still doc fees which I hate, but everyone has those, you can't get away from that. Avoid the used car dealership in the middle, go to the left to the Subaru new cars or certified pre-owned and you will pay the same for a new car that you would for a used car due to the market.Probably the most pleasant experience I've had at a dealership! no games, no hassles, just the truth. Get the 10 year extended warranty because it's a very good rate.
