Pricey bikinis but worth every penny! I bought a bikini from their new collection and absolutely love it! The quality is there, you can feel it in the fabric. I think I actually like that there isn't any padding because it tends to bend and warp over time and I think it'll look weird with the thinness and softness of the fabric. Also nice sexy styles. I'm thinking about going back for a few more colors in the same or similar style^ ^

Today I went to the blowout sale and waited in line from 8:30-10. I was one of the first 10 people to enter the store. I got one bikini set and was the third person in line. They had a deal going that if you were one of the first 10 sales you get a free bikini. I was third in line you can see me in line in their video of the blowout on Instagram. But I got my bikini and left, they did not give me a receipt but around 12:30 I realized the security tag was left on my top so I went back to get it taken off. I stood outside the store to be respectful and asked if they could remove it after explaining the situation. They then accused me of stealing one of the bikinis while in front of a line of people saying that it wasn’t run up and they need to ring up the other bikini. I told them no and that I was one of the first people while showing them my bank statement. After 5 minutes of arguing back and forth they finally gave me my top back. But I was incredibly upset at the fact they forgot a tag and made it my fault and accused me that I took it in front of so many people. Their customer service was terrible.

Update- I found the return receipt so they were able to honor the return. After my review the manager also reached out to help. I think it was just an honest mistake by the girl that did the original return. Just keep the receipt with the gift card.The girl who did my return for credit did it wrong so I’m out over $150. I emailed who she said was the manager, no response. Then I tried to contract through BBB, no response. Ridiculous

I’m literally traumatized! TERRIBLE service! I called the store and the employee told me “YOU NEED TO STOP CALLING THIS STORE! I AM NOT GOING TO PICK UP YOUR CALL!” I asked why because I was SO CONFUSED and SHE HUNG UP ON ME! SO RUDE!The whole story is that I went to the Kapolei location looking for my birthday outfit. I purchased a green dress and a top and I was looking for a green skirt in size small. They only had size medium, but they told me that maybe the Ala Moana location had a size small And told me to call them to check, so I did! No one picked up, so I started to call other locations JUST IN CASE since I really wanted that skirt, ALL THE LOCATIONS PICKED UP AND TOLD ME THE SAME THING “we don’t have it but call ALA MOANA because they probably do!” In between me calling the other locations I was still trying to call Ala Moana, the line was busy at one point so I waited, then called again. I’ve been a retail manager for 3 years in different stores so I know sometimes the phone will ring and you won’t notice if you are in the sales floor helping other customers so I thought maybe that’s what was happening. When they finally pick up I was so happy and I was going to ask if they had a skirt and size small, I was willing to drive 40 minutes to town just to buy that skirt since it was my birthday week, just to have the RUDE lady tell me that! I’m not confrontational so I stopped calling and I didn’t go to the store so the lady got what she wanted! It was embarrassing and so frustrating! Don’t shop there! The kapolei location is great and the girls are very nice!

If you're gonna hire teenage girls to manage the store on their own, at least make sure to train them to have some BASIC customer service skills - NOT ignoring the customers because they're too cool and too busy gossiping amongst themselves would be a good start.

My review is not because of the swimsuits, but because of the poor customer service and rude, disrespectful, and lazy staff. The setup of the store could also be improved, especially if the teenage girls who work there are going to be intent on not helping customers. I normally don’t write reviews like this, but I was actually in disbelief at how I was treated at the store today and hoping that the manager sees this and speaks with the two girls who were working this afternoon and trains future employees better.First, the last time I came into this store, another young girl was working there and my experience was basically the same. Aside from her greeting me after I stared at her for a few moments waiting to be helped, the employees pretty much just sit at the cashier stand and won’t ask if you need any help the entire time you are there. They will not offer to set up a dressing room for you, you will have to ask yourself. The last time I was at the store, the poor customer service resulted in me walking out and not buying anything, but I am a fan of San Lorenzo and needed a suit so today I gave it another try.The same thing happened. Two teenage girls working at the front, speaking loudly and obnoxiously to one another, and aside from an awkward, almost forced, greeting, neither offered to help me in any way the entire time I was shopping at the store which lasted for about 30 minutes.The way the store is setup is that they have tons of tiny bikinis organized by size and color. Although tops and bottoms can easily be mixed and matched, and oftentimes will need to be depending on your preference, they are hooked together by size onto a single hanger. You can only try on six items at a time, or three sets of bikinis, so this setup doesn’t make much sense unless employees are willing to help you take sizes off the hangers and set up a dressing room for you.I wear a size S/M for tops and M/L for bottoms. Mind you, I am 5’5” and 120 lbs so these swimsuits are obviously made for smaller women, which is fine with me, but requires for me to mix and match to find my right size in the respective style.As I looked for the suits I wanted to try on, since I was not being helped at all, I simply took what I wanted and left what I didn’t on the hanger. I approached the girl for a dressing room and she set it up for me. When I went to try on the suits in a dressing room, I could hear a commotion coming from the two girls in the store. I am a very calm person, but frankly was shocked the two girls thought it was okay to be talking loudly about me while I was still in the store.“WHERE IS THE TOP THAT GOES WITH THIS ONE?!” “OMG, HOW WILL I EVER GET THROUGH THIS DAY?!” “Wow, that is so rude. It’s just disrespectful. Pure laziness. It just makes me mad because she thinks we work for her.”They were clearly discussing the fact that I had left certain pieces on the hanger while I tried on the ones I wanted. Calling a customer who is still in the store lazy and disrespectful? Wow, I haven’t worked retail in awhile, but I can imagine any of my prior employers would have fired me for this behavior. I completely ignored them and eventually found a suit that I love and ended up purchasing, so again this review is not about the suits.It appears the girls think they are being hired to stand at the cash register and gossip amongst themselves, loudly and obnoxiously, ruining the shopping experience for pretty much anyone in the store and not offering to help customers, then complaining and insulting customers loud enough for them to hear for simply helping themselves to what they wanted to try on since they weren’t offered any help. It is not my job to keep inventory or hang up suits exactly how they want it as the customer; that’s their job. I am there to shop and have a stress-free experience. I did not make a mess or leave anything in a disorderly manner, I simply took the sizes I needed and left what I didn’t. I really hope the manager sees this and talks to those girls.

I know I own way too many swimsuits as it is but also when you live at a beach is that really a such thing?! Only popped in after being lured in by a sale sign after dinner. Ended up with a super cute reversible bikini for $20! What a steal. Very friendly staff as well.

I usually don't shop here but I decided to have a spontaneous beach day and my everyday bikini wasn't packed in my car :( so I stopped in the Ala Moana location to take a look and was very surprised to see that the selection from styles to colors. I asked the employee for a little help finding a bottom that would cover, since most of their selection is on the showy side and she found a bottom that covered me just enough to feel comfortable BUT my usual size is a small/ medium so I tried both on and they were WAAAAAY too small, I had to bump up to a large and I asked if the sizing runs smaller bc a medium fit as a small and a small was basically a thong (not a problem if you're into that!). my only problem were the tops, I like to have a little padding, especially in white bikini tops so that when they get when im not putting on a show for people when I get out of the water, but I was only able to find one top with padding and it's the same top I have at home, but I really wanted to buy a different style but unfortunately all the other styles had no padding and only 1 layer to cover, it wasn't bad but I feel the style selection for padded tops could be more extended. the sales associate was super nice and helpful when I had questions about finding sizes or a specific styles and she explained the return and exchange policy very straight forward saying "it's basically not possible" super straight forward and I appreciate that bc if I had tried them on at home and they didn't fit, I would be stuck with a $100+ bikini that I could never wear. my only bad experience here wasn't even the the store itself or the sales associate, there was a small group of girls 18-20 yrs old who walked in with the most entitled attitude and were very rude to the poor girl working, you can clearly tell they were here just for school, but they were making the rudest comments when the sales associate was helping me and they complained that they weren't getting the service "THEY DESERVED" which was met with my nice reply of "please leave if you feel you aren't getting the service you THINK you deserve" but my point is that everyone should be nice to the employees working. I would highly recommend that people give the store a try and be cautious about the sizing!
