Functional hotel close to the beach. Our room had a sea view. On the edge of the fray in Waikiki.
Walkability: Beach and shops all within walking distance.

It was a partial ocean view, but since it was the room closest to the sea, I could enjoy the ocean view from the window next to the bed. Room service is available every other day, so you have to ask for towels. I would give it 5 stars if you came every day. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and nice.

I’ll start off by saying that the valet, staff, and management go above and beyond to help out and fix issues as soon as they arise. Whether it be extra towels, replacing a fridge, or recommendations for an auto shop. The valet went as far as loaning me tools to replace my alternator that gave out so I didn’t have to wait for a tow truck and subsequently, the repair itself. I don’t know of another hotel that employs staff this generous! My family and I are very grateful and will recommend this hotel to anyone that cares to listen.
Rooms: Clean and exactly what we needed. We don’t hole up in our room in a place like this, and we don’t expect others do either. Even if you need to lie down, the bed is very comfortable and the provided soaps are great! The view of the ocean/diamond head can’t be beat from our room!
Walkability: There is so much to see and do if you don’t mind putting the steps in! The beach is right across the street from the hotel so if that’s your main attraction, you can’t get much closer!
Food & drinks: There are many options within walking distance, even more if you don’t mind walking a mile, and even more if you have a car or take a cheap ride share service.

I stayed here for a conference for 6 nights. I can't say I completely enjoyed my stay, but the location and view from my ocean room were not bad. Like most reviews, my room was rather dated with carpet smells and limited amenities. The Chromecast couldn't stream my shows to the end. Bandwidth was probably bad. Front desk staff wasn't the most welcoming in my opinion.
But, if you care about budget and don't mind these little hiccups, there are some nice perks you might like. The hotel is just right off the zoo as they only charge 4 hours max for parking (literally $6 per night), which makes parking much affordable in Waikiki if you're driving. The location is also great, a little away from the crowd but still in the center of the action. (Side note, you can always check other hotel's beach. We actually stopped by the one by Moana Surfrider Hotel. Access is free, and the water is less choppy.) The complimentary yoga session was probably the best part of my stay. I enjoyed it a lot. Finally, they checked in through texting and fixed some issues that I had.
I hope this review is objective and can help you decide whether this is the hotel for you.

Pros:
Close to beach, shops, restaurant and bus stop;
Windows that open, providing fresh air;
Complimentary yoga, star gazing, sun screen, beach towels and water;
The hotel allowed us to check in early and check out late with no extra charges;
Friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: Street noise
Nearby activities: Waikiki beach is right there next to the hotel. Lots of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance.

The hotel is right across the street from the beach and that was exactly the convenience we wanted. We got the partial ocean view room and that was perfect! Because the hotel is in the corner with no other building to its left that there’s no obstructions to my balcony’s front and side view. The interior of the room was typical and nothing to rave about. The free sunscreen and beach towels and complementary beach gear rental are great too! Parking is a bit confusing at first and quite expensive but that’s everywhere on the strip if you don’t want to spend time scouting for street parking.

Everything was perfect except 1 day we had no hot water n had to be given another room to take a shower but it was all good, hot water was restored next day. The staff was exceptional and the hotel was super clean. Exercise room, Lulu's restaurant was okay, 1-10, I would rate a 5. All the restaurants have exceptional food quality n taste everywhere else. Surprised they weren't as well...pool was great and my view from 18th floor was awesome of the beach n DiamondHead.
Nearby activities: Restaurants, shopping and Kapiolani Beach Park few steps away

The location of this hotel is the best in Waikiki in my opinion. You are on beach front property and right next to the Kapiolani regional park. The park is so beautiful to wake up to and look at from your balcony. If that wasn’t enough, just tilt your head to the right and you have beautiful scenic views of the beach, It’s so amazing. It’s about a 15 min walk on the beach to the Royal Hawaiian shopping center.
The rooms are small but clean and the staff are super friendly. I was in a corner beach front room. Highly recommend!

This is a great property with perfect location on the edge of the hustle bustle of Waikiki. They are great at what the offer and we couldn't have been happier with our stay and experience at Park Shore Waikiki. We will definitely be coming back again!

Loved the hotel. So glad I took a chance on it. Directly across the beach, so many restaurants nearby and those amazing ABC stores.
Rooms were clean and nice. Housekeeping was every other day. Came in after the maid one day to find my bed made but the sheets were still used. Had a stain on the sheets (spilled something eating in bed). Was hoping the maid would have changed them but it was my last night so I just dealt with it. That’s the only thing. Staff was nice, pool was nice. I would stay here in the future.

Not all the rooms have balconies you can sit on, this was very disappointing. The small balconies do not have chairs and are only big enough to stand on. The room did not have a chair either, so the only place to sit was the beds. As a disabled guests, being able to sit on the balcony is important. This was not made clear when booking.

Many thanks to Travis and the Park Shore crew for their incredibly kind and helpful customer service. Truly above and beyond. Cool hotel with a stylish new lobby, perfectly situated across from the beach with epic views of the ocean and Diamond Head. Great hotel for the price. Shout out to Zoe at Lu Lu’s for the sight seeing tips and finding me the perfect drink!
