Keith Matsunaga was very rude and nasty with my wife. I don’t recommend doing business with this company. I will be dealing with Apria from now on.

We ended up not needing the equipment, but they were diligent in trying to get it to us as efficiently as possible, which, if we HAD needed it for discharge, would have made the process much easier.

They sell cheap breakable Chinese powered wheelchair and scooters to bad insurance companies (i.e HMSA etc) to their patients. Ed their nurse is lazy he likes to ask for help to organize his inventory and then backstab that person that helped. He also doesn't want to help patients' caregivers any additional instructions because he will say, " Oh I don't get paid for this extra work." He also cannot carry things, when I used to work there he'll be asking me to carry the lighter boxes like an empty box because he rather sit on his desk doing nothing but talking on his phone. There's a kid that physically work there and he gets cursed out a lot by the owner.

This company has no business making or adjusting orthotics (custom insoles). The owner of the company appears to have a degree in bio-engineering, but if he does have knowledge of biomechanics, he has not passed this knowledge along to others at his company. I received a prescription for an adjustment on my custom orthotics from my podiatrist and was directed to go to Pacmed, a local company, which I was excited about. I went to Pacmed six different times for three different adjustments. In the end, Pacmed basically butchered my $300 custom orthotics and made adjustments that did not demonstrate an understanding of the basics of orthotic insoles--that minute changes in insoles impact biomechanics all the way up the skeleton. The first featured a circular ridge in the middle of the metatarsal. The second pair which was supposed to have a "metatarsal cut-out" (per the prescription) had been shaved down so two insoles were no longer the same height. The final adjustment had a ledge across the middle of the orthotic where the hard plastic of the custom orthotic met the front of the foot insole. I wore these yesterday while walking, and experienced severe knee problems as a result, something I have not experienced with over the counter insoles with a smooth insole.

They wouldn't give me a delivery time window, so I had to wait 8 hours for them to show up on a Saturday. The mattress they provided with their electric bed was extremely hard. Not appropriate for an elderly infirm person with osteoporosis to sleep on, or any person for that matter. It wouldn't bend with the bed, unless there was body weight on it, and even then the feet end of it angled up in the air. We had to buy a thick mattress topper at our own expense to make it useable, but it was slightly wider and shorter than the mattress, which made using the rails difficult.

They were nice in the beginning soon as they got me in they lacked allot I felt as if they did not care. It’s not them suffering walking in a big prostetic for 6 months no call no set up appointments just called them but no set times I’m looking for new prostetic company I’m leaving this one quickly because we are just a number and to talk to them they say one thing never come through it’s a shame they do this to us but always other options. Can’t be waiting on ghost calls every month sorry Edison I hope things get better but I waited long and you said on phone you would send me more pads for my oversized prosthetic but my China mail came in faster then Honolulu and a month later still no pads it’s sad we talked on phone you sounded nice but I need more then nice I need a prosthetic builder that don’t give run around.

After over a year of of trying to work with Medicare and Universal Med supply (the company that filled the prescription for my husband's scooter) to get the battery for scooter supplied, we were referred to universal med supply by our PCP. Ivan from PAC Med was very friendly and helpful. With his persistence he was able to get the insurance to a cover the cost of the battery and got it replaced! There was no run around or anything like I got with Universal Med Supply as it turns out, that company treats a lot of Hawaii customers that way. Thank You Ivan for you persistency and hard work I'm getting things done! I gotta say PAC MED is awesome and will work with everyone. During my search for a local company to help me, I found that there were companies that won't even service equipment that came from Universal! Thank you PAC Med, you are a blessing! If future med supplies are needed I will be sure we are referred to your company

If no stars were an option, I would choose that. Avoid this company if it is at all possible to do so. Before retirement, I worked as a home care nurse. Certain insurances had contracts requiring their patients use PacMed. Whenever we (the home care staff) were forced to work with them we knew things would not go smoothly. I see from recent reviews that things have not improved since my retirement.

I am very pleased with the Customer Service and Delivery Service of PacMed. The responsiveness of the Customer Service Representative was outstanding and completely professional. I was and still am very impressed by the care, concern, and compassion demonstrated. Additionally, the Delivery Driver was very accommodating and also very professional. I plan on continuing to utilize PacMed for my medical supply needs. Mahalo, Mark Kazuo Bradley

This company doesn't deserve any star at all. They are so incompetent people in the whole world. My brother 100% wheelchair bound his wheel chair have to custom make took them more than almost 3 yrs. Still nothing being accomplished. I have to deal with United Health Care Mr. Walther Curtis an AARP customer specialist. Who never keeps his words. Have to deal with him for more than 6 months going back and forth couldn't make a decision making at all. I even call the UHC Transfer to Mr. whicmann line, a lady introduces herself as Ms. whicmann claim not related to him. Transfer of a supervisor's claim will return our call, but never call us back. We will advise never, never give your business to PAC MEDs and United Health Care. You will be screwed. Not worth to give your business to them. I even call Sen. Mazie Hirono speaks to Christie her chief of staff provides us a form, complete and sign to represent my brother. Remember heard from her after 3 months. Call her back claim nobody taking the call as usual. After a month call her back then Christie told me they don't represent the American people? And why during the election, they claim they are representing and fighting for us?? So means they are misleading the American people.

We needed certain medical supplies for a flight to the mainland & I needed them right away. No one on Kauai had what we needed. I called PACMED and spoke to Mabel to place my order. She was very helpful. But Keith M. in the shipping/delivery department is the bomb. He knew exactly what we needed and tweaked our order plus he suggested priority mail to Kauai, something I was leery of. I received our order in less than 12 hours! I am very happy with the service and the pricing!

i'm so upset cause my friend's car was damaged by pacmed's driver (martin - lic #sgj945) in october 2019 (proof on camera).. the driver tried to be slick by walking away from the damage; but "surprise"- my friend confronted him. the driver told my friend he can pay out of his pocket- which was $20. omg- such a cheap a**! my friend called her insurance and she was advised to call pacmed direct to have them handle this problem. my friend was advised that one of the workers from pacmed advised to go and get an estimate. the estimate that they submitted was too high so my friend was advised pacmed will take it to their body shop. my friend called numerous times but no one's returning her call and/or she's always being placed on hold for a long time. she's all steamed up and it's not the greatest environment to have my friend with a terrible attitude because of your driver's careless problem. it takes a lot for my friend to be upset with anyone/anything. i want my friend back to normal... please take action by handling the problem as soon as possible cause this is not cool!!!! mahalo, concerned friend
