We like to get Jeff Chang dishes and things as housewarming gifts. I think Nohea is the only place that carries his work now that his store at Windward Mall closed. There are different pieces at different price points to choose from. I'm not familiar with Kapolei. The friendly staff gave me good directions and was very helpful. I found a good-sized piece that I thought was reasonable at $60.

I am sometimes reluctant to go into galleries, because the sales associates can be uppity, or look at you disapprovingly if you do not buy anything. My best friend and I went into Nohea yesterday, chatting amiably as we browsed the store. We were just there to look. As we left the store the sales associate gave a warm smile and waved to us. That really resonated with me. I went back in alone an hour later. My friend pointed out something she liked and I wanted to get it for her birthday. It really was a bit out of my budget, but the kindness of the sales associate, Nadia, and the delightful ambience of the store made me want to spend the money. Nadia excitedly showed me art by several artists with no pressure to buy, just to show me new merchandise they had recently brought in. It was auch a warm experience. I told Nadia that her kindness and friendliness made the whole experience so wonderful, and that I would definitely be back.

There's certainly nothing bad about this gallery, except that none of the gifts and offerings are particularly interesting. Simple "modern" beach and ocean paintings, carved wood items, gift pottery and glassware.

No hair gallery known for its exquisitely handcrafted arts and crafts Lend homage to all of its artists and the like who display their work for sale. Some of the finest woodcrafted treasures can be found at no hair gallery. Well worth the investment.

Above and Beyond!
I wandered into this gallery on my last day in Honolulu in hopes of finding a perfect Christmas gift for my niece. Not only did I receive exceptional service with recommendations for what I was looking for, but they continued with unheard of service after I returned to the "main land" and reached out for some background on the artist of the item I bought. I cannot sing their praises enough!
