The guys are great, they take time and care to fit correctly and share the history. The hats are exceptional… we first visited 12 years ago, but didn’t buy, something I regretted after. This time we did … Ray and Jim made it a most enjoyable experience, no regrets this time ?

Great stock, great prices, and great service. I wasn’t sure we’d manage to get my husband into a Hawaiian shirt, but this place had some very nice, good quality shirts, and he enthusiastically picked one out. I recommend highly if you’re looking for something you won’t see in the big chain stores.

THE HATS ARE BEAUTIFU ? On top of that, Lee provided the absolute best hat buying experience! And I’ve purchased many hats. I feel like I made a new friend ? He even provided us with a little Hawaii history lesson, places to eat, and things to see. Gotta love it! I will definitely be referring my fellow hat lovers. I came to Hawaii with the intentions of finding the perfect and best hat store and I think I nailed it! Can’t wait to come back and see my picture on the wall ? Thank you Lee! Probably my favorite store in Hawaii! While classified as a “hat shop,” they have the best (literally) Hawaiian shirts one can buy. 10/10

I purchased a Panama hat from Lee at Newt. Lee made the hat buying experience amazing. I've never purchased a high quality hat, nor did I realize my head deserved it. Lee taught me so much about hats during the purchase process and really made it an exciting and flattering experience. Thanks so much for making a purchase such a great experience!

this is an old school shop with OUTSTANDING service and the most charming vibe. the store itself is like an art gallery and the product is the best on earth. I have never wanted to own one of these hats until this experience. The owners are truly the best customer service I've ever had in America and the genuine pride they exhibit in their store makes you feel like family. I love this place and I love Lee and Jim are the nicest most knowledgeable persons, the information and personality are a memory that will never fade. My first time in Hawaii and overall as beautiful a place and the actual Hawaiian people are the best you can find but I found it as relaxing as a nightclub and the tourists here are unbearable. I would not come back so this review should be noted as this shop was the highlight of our trip.
