We are a trio of 85 years old ladies who had an enjoyable lunch and get together with a friend from California. Our waiter, Kawai, was so nice—-very friendly, courteous and attentive. It was nice not to have a time limit which gave us time to catch up with each other. We all had the sautéed scallops which was an excellent choice. Mariposa is a very nice restaurant for luncheons and get togethers.

For lunch we each had the seafood curry and a side salad at $30+ each. I would describe it as just okay. The curry broth was zesty and coconut-based. The shellfish and fish in it were overcooked and unimpressive. Great server. Great view.

Pls don't take our food away when we are not finished, or in middle of conversation. Pls remember you are not serving well when you take away our Not-empty-plate, don't even ask us "did you finish?" when the plate were still left food, or customer still has utensils on their hand. We do not want to be disturbed by waiters those "unmanned action" which was annoying in such beautiful restaurant.

We had a late lunch on the lanai with lovely weather. Raymond and his team have excellent service technique. Moments after being sat, we had water and warm popovers with strawberry butter. My husband ordered the Laska Curry and I had the Scallops. Curry looked yummy . I'm ordering that next time. We shared the Mango Cheesecake with edible flowers. The visual aspects of the preparation were enticing. It tasted as good as it looked. Art of hanging three olives on the side of a martini class is perfection. A five star experience.

久しぶりに、伺いましたが雰囲気は以前と変わらず素敵です。 メニューの数がもう少し多いといいなと思います。 あと、マリポサプランテーションアイスティーの味が薄くなっていたのが残念でした。

I come to the Mariposa to celebrate birthdays all the time but yesterday was disappointing because just as we finished our meal a waiter dropped a full tray of food behind us my friend was covered in salad dressing among other things! Accidents happen it wasn't anyone's fault but an offer cover a cleaning bill would have been nice Aloha Sandra Dawson

Server, Preston, was very attentive. Very nice setting. My request for a table by the window was granted. Food was tasty. Had the pork chop. It was tender and tasty. My daughter had the lobster sandwich. She commented that the bread was too small for all the ingredients. Liked the bread before. My other friend had the curry. Very tasty, just a bit spicy. It had a lot of seafood, which made it perfect

The Mariposa at Neiman Marcus Ala Moana is my go-to place for Sunday brunch/lunch. I enjoy the ambience, the overall dining experience, and the fact that I inevitably run into longtime friends and family while enjoying the popovers and the crab and shrimp louie salad here; that is, when I don't get the lobster club sandwich. (Note: while everything is delicious, I encourage you to try something different each time you come here. The salmon ochazuke is lovely, the kiawe-smoked pork chop, and even the grilled ahi sandwich are delectable). But what sets this place above other dining options is the service and attention of the longtime servers and waitstaff, especially Blaze and Preston. I, as well as many of the longtime customers here, are grateful to see them each time we dine at the restaurant. The live music is an added bonus. It may get a bit lively if you happen across the occasional bridal shower, or some of the larger parties that may be celebrating at the Mariposa while you too are dining. However, if you are looking for quality and delicious food, with a beautiful view of the Pacific ocean just across the street, give this place a try. I can't imagine you would regret it.

There was a group of ladies that were celebrating birthdays.....& we're VERY noisy!!! But I explained to my guest: they were a group of ladies, middle-aged, who probably never got together, & were so happy! They were loud, yes, but happy!!!

I love Mariposa very much. I have been a loyal customer for the past 20 years. I have a lot of memories of our family dinners commemorating birthdays of my deceased father, mother, and daughter, and local friends and those from Japan. Waiters understand why we were there and take care of us in many way like a concierge.

Mariposa is always our go to when entertaining because it is so consistently 5 star. This time we came for lunch — 4 of us. They had live music which was wonderful! It did add a bit of volume to ambiance — but they had a really good song list so we did tip to the entertainer (as one should always do for live entertainment). The meal and service did not disappoint. The popovers were fabulous—as always. We had a shared steak salad and burger, the seared ahi and another steak salad. So ono!!

Have always liked this restaurant. Nice ambiance but summer time with the humidity, it's brutal due to open air. We had an excellent waiter but don't know what his name was. Very impressive!!! Wish all waiters would be as attentive as he was. The waiter took our orders, brought the iced tea and coffee and refilled the drinks without asking ?. I had the Seafood Laksa and my daughter had the lobster sandwich and corn chowder. The chicken consume is always excellent and love the popovers but it wasn't refilled.?. The other staff members are polite and cordial.

We went there at 5 pm on Saturday. The restaurant provides a f'rst rate fine dining experience with great service, elegant atmosphere, and superb food. We ordered Crab and Shrimp Louise Salad, Salmon Ochazuke, frozen mango mint cocktail, and mango cheesecake. All were exceptionally delicious, We visit several fine dining restaurants every time we come to Oahu and I can say that Mariposa is one of the top three. We thank the kitchen and service staff that make this experience possible. Erhan & Asli

It's no contest: Mariposa is the best dining room on the island. Not just the food, but the peerless service, lovable staff members, and culinary excellence. Everyone I know considers it a favorite and feels right at home in the restaurant.
