The staff is very welcoming and caring. The jewelry is very beautiful and the symbolic message behind the unique handmade piece is very well explained by the seller. Very good experience if you are looking for jewelry rooted in Hawaiian culture. The jewelry is worth the price.

I bought it at this store in Waikiki 5 or 6 years ago. An unusual accessory for me to purchase.
I don't own anything like that other than my wedding ring.
This time, I dropped it and lost it in Hawaii where I bought it!
For some reason I took a photo the day before I dropped it.
Did you avoid “bad luck”?
Think positively and buy something new.

The staff was amazing and showed us everything we were looking at. There was no pressure to buy any thing. The lady helping us was amazing in telling us what all the symbols on the jewelry stood for. She was extremely knowledgeable with all the jewelry. She apologized for not having rings in certain sizes, which to me is not a huge deal. My wife ended up finding a ring that she loved. They cleaned the ring before it went to her. The saying goes you get what you pay for. In this case everything was hand made and very well worth the price.Overall just a very pleasant experience for us at the store.

Went in to look for a birthday gift for myself. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and told us about the symbolic meaning of all the designs! Everything is handcrafted and clearly with care. We ended up walking away with a beautiful rose gold necklace with black mother of pearl inlays and a wave design. 100% worth the price!

Beautiful shop that sells jewelry hand made by a local. Each piece has a meaning and the staff are very informative of the meanings of each piece. Staff was extremely friendly, we went in dressed quite casually and probably didn't give the impression that the pieces were in our price range. The staff, however, had no reservations in pulling every piece we looked at out and explaining them, they did not "pitch" the products before telling us prices. We ended up purchasing a hand engraved sterling silver ring with a flower and wave motif for a little over $300. The prices are steep but I don't agree with poor reviews based on price. You can calculate the cost of materials but at the end of the day you are paying for an art piece and I find it rude to attempt to put your own value on someone else's artwork, whether it be a painting, jewelry or simple drawing. The artist values the work and the patron can choose to buy or not. Overall this is a beautiful shop with very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The artistry is worth the price tag, even if you can't afford it. Price tags should not decide a rating, especially when it comes to art.

Great store. Great jewelry. Staff was extraordinarily helpful. Will make custom pieces. We purchased 2 necklaces and one bracelet. Jewelry is very high quality and artisan made. Sometimes you get what you pay for. Can't wait to shop there again next time we are in Honolulu.

At Native Hands, you can make your own ring by combining the ring patterns (waves, leaves, turtles, flowers) in any way you like.
He also gave me advice and was very kind (^^)

Went into the store today and found a lovely bracelet made of silver and turquoise. The staff were lovely and helpful.
