Awesome experience with Minami Surfboards. I've got my last 2 boards from Glenn and couldn't be happier. He sits down with you, talks about what you want from the board, where you surf, then takes it from there and hand shapes your board. The result is something that's been keeping the stoke alive for me as my boards keep getting shorter and shorter, which I couldn't imagine a few years ago! Thx Glenn

I started surfing Minami surf boards at the start of this winter and I have absolutely loved ever board I have tried from uncle Glenn. There super fast solid boards. Glenn works with you super well to make sure everything is fitted to you properly and everything is the right size. I love these boards and can’t wait to surf my summer boards. Thanks for making killer boards uncle Glenn!

I had an amazing experience working with Glenn. Having a Minami shaped board was a lifelong dream of mine. Since the days when he shaped for Martin Potter, I have wanted one of his boards. Even though I am well past my prime in surfing, Glenn was so responsive and supportive of my personal goals. He took the time to understand what I wanted in a board. He asked about the intended breaks I was going to use it in, and how durable we wanted to make it in terms of glassing.
From start to finish Minami Surfboards was a fantastic experience for me, and I can’t wait to have him shape boards for my teenage kids that love to surf as well!

I have been riding Minami's for many years and could not be happier with every board I ever received from Glenn. Both my kids also ride his boards and love them. Amazing boards from an awesome person (who rips by the way if you don't already know). Minami's are the best and you will not be disappointed.

I have ordered 3 boards from Glenn and they have been awesome. These were my first custom surfboards and I didn't know what to expect. As soon as I hopped on them they felt magical. The boards also felt perfectly made for the way I was surfing. The surfboards have also helped my surfing become so much better within such a short period of time. The boards feel stuck to your feet when you're riding them and are super durable.

Highly, highly recommend working with Glenn and getting a Minami board! Everything about our experience was an absolute dream. Glenn’s communication throughout the entire process was incredible! He spent so much time with us reviewing my daughter’s surf videos, comparing all prior boards and breaking down adjustments that would further progression. His turn around time was beyond fast and the board arrived looking amazing! She has LOVED her new board so much! Glenn’s attentiveness and care to his work and his clients definitely shows!

Ordered the Blaze and it’s a super awesome board. Super responsive and loose. Great board in the pocket but could also blast through flat sections. Glenn is really knowledgeable and humble. Really appreciate how he hand shapes his boards. Thanks Glenn.

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience ordering a board from Glenn. Glenn is a master shaper and surf legend, but still maintains an amazing customer service mentality. I put in a general order and the next day he called me on the phone and spent a lot of time talking with me and working out exactly what I was looking for. I am a big guy 6'3 230lbs., so I need a special board. Glenn took the time to ask questions, provide feedback and suggestions, and help me understand what would work for me in the conditions I planned to ride it. A week later just before he shaped my board, he called me again. He had some more questions/concerns and wanted to make sure he got everything just right. Throughout the entire process Glenn stayed in contact and followed up after the board was delivered to see how it was riding. Needless to say, the board is magic. The F12 model customized for a big guy. Paddles great, catches waves great, and maintains performance. I've been surfing for 20+ years, and this is hands down the best experience I've had ordering a board. Thank you, Glenn! Looking forward to a fun winter of surf, and will definitely be ordering my next board from you.

Uncle Glenn has been shaping boards for me since I was 11 years old and I couldn’t be happier with every surfboard he has made me. His boards work super well in all conditions, and it’s really comforting to know how trustworthy his step ups/guns are in bigger surf. Uncle Glenn is super passionate about details and making boards that work well for the specific person he’s making it for, which is rare these days. Thank you Uncle Glenn????

Have had an amazing experience with Minami. Response is very quick and clear with Glenn. Give him dimensions and he works his magic. He keeps everything on file so if you call him he will have information on past boards he’s shaped for you. Very good shaper to surfer relationship. I have ordered a couple boards and plan on ordering more in the future. Thank you Glenn!

Glenn was incredibly easy to work with and was always nice and professional through the whole process of having a board custom made. He provided great insight and this shows in the end result. The first time I went out on the new board it was incredible and it was so easy to catch some good waves. Definitely recommend!
