I recently scheduled a service appointment at Mercedes Benz of Honolulu, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Despite booking in advance, my car was returned to me in a dirty condition, which was the first red flag. What's even more frustrating is that I was never given a clear explanation of what was done to my car. No service summary, no details—just handed the keys and sent on my way.
For a brand like Mercedes, I expected a much higher level of professionalism and communication. This lack of transparency and attention to detail is unacceptable, especially considering the premium prices they charge. I left feeling uncertain about the quality of the service performed and questioning whether I should return to this dealership in the future.
I hope they improve their customer service and attention to detail because this experience was far from the luxury experience I was expecting.

We had a great experience purchasing our pre-owned Mercedes from Angela and the team at the dealership. We never felt rushed or pressured in any way. Turns out Angela and I have mutual friends which made the experience even more personal and fun.

Epic Customer Service Failure. Mercedes left us stranded.
On Friday evening, 8/9/20224, at 7:45 pm, our 2023 Mercedes-Benz broke down on our way home.
In a potentially hazardous situation, we found ourselves in heavy traffic entering the Pali Hwy, Kailua-bound, when our car suddenly went into 'limp mode. The dashboard lit up with a warning to 'Pull over and turn car off,' it would not drive over 5 miles per hour, so pulling over was a daunting task from the far left lane where vehicles were merging onto the Highway. We managed to navigate to the right lane and then onto a grass strip, avoiding accidents.
What followed was a stark departure from the Mercedes brand promise. As a Mercedes car driver since the 1980s, I have always trusted Mercedes for safety and reliability. However, this trust was shattered last night when our car broke down, and the promised 'Comprehensive Roadside Assistance' failed to deliver. After standing on the side of the road in intermittent rain for over an hour, we were sent from one call center to another, telling us they were locating a tow truck. They called again, saying they had our location. They called again, saying sorry for the delay. More than an hour after we first contacted them, their final call was they couldn't find a tow truck on their "provider network," so we had to find a tow ourselves. They also said they would text a link for a LYFT driver; the link was never sent. They left our car and us stranded.
Thank goodness we are also AAA members
9:00 pm We called AAA, and they would send a tow truck
9:20 pm O'Sung towing arrived.
We thought we were more than covered by Mercedes. We have the standard new car warranty with roadside assistance AND the additional auto care package with roadside assistance. Please save money, and DO NOT bother with the additional auto care coverage. Both the standard and the extra coverage are a joke.
