I had a wonderful experience here. The associates at the shop were mindful of my budget and pulled a bunch of dresses that were exactly the style I was looking for based on my descriptions and inspo pics, along with a few "stretch" styles just to try. They were very low pressure and totally respected my desire to sleep on my final dress decision. I also had my alterations done through the in-house tailor, these were very well done and I had no issues getting everything done on schedule. The only minor flaw was my bustle loop fell out about an hour into dancing, but I was dancing pretty hard!

My experience as masako bridal was exceptional! I went in and the level of customer service i received was incredible. I went in alone as i have no family on island and i had all the help and support i needed with who helped me. Not to mention the manager is amazing and so friendly! They have so many dress options it was hard to choose. Highly recommend coming here for your bridal needs.

Finding my wedding dress at Masako was nothing short of amazing. Kaelyn was engaging helpful and made the experience so much fun. She was able to listen to what I liked and disliked about each dress to help me find the perfect one. Looking forward to working with them up until the big day!

Looking for THEE wedding dress that will make your special day super special is so intimidating, but Kaylyn and the others at Masako Bridal made it as joyous an occasion as it should be! All the stress melted away with how confidently Kaylyn managed my needs around fit and budget, and the selection helped me realize what was and wasn't important to me as an individual. Once I found my one dress, they made me feel beautiful and hyped up as we took some amazing pictures to be able to show it off to friends, and I had a smile in my heart the whole experience. If I ever had to do this all again I'd go right back to them!

I thought finding a wedding dress was going to be a stressful process but Olivia and Kaylynn was THE BEST! Obviously wedding dresses are expensive but they didn't try to sell me the most expensive one and truly cared about what I wanted as a customer, and not what would've made them the most profit. I'm also very insecure when it comes to my body image and I did not feel uncomfortable at all during our entire appointment. My budget was on the smaller side but I found the most perfect dress in ONE hour. And it was $700 LESS than my max budget! Overall, my experience at Masako bridal exceeded my expectations.

Truly the most wonderful experience!! I was so excited every time I got to go in and see the women that work here. They made me feel so beautiful and light, like I was spending time playing dress up with my girlfriends. Maddy helped me find my dream dress! I thought I wanted a certain style and she had me try on one that was completely different that she knew would compliment my style and body type. It's the one I chose! I would have never picked it out on my own. It was also way more affordable than I expected the dress to be. Cannot recommend Masako more! I could write ten paragraphs about it.

If you need a welcoming place to try on dresses, this is the place that you want to go. Friendly staff and caters to you and gives the best advice. Their dresses are affordable and beautiful. I do not doubt that any bride could find their dream dress here. I have been in twice. Once to try on, the second was to decide between my final two and purchase. Not only did I find my dress, but they were so helpful in deciding. When I couldn't decide, they kept me in both dresses and we were just talking. Little did I know, she was keeping me in both dresses long enough to see which one I was most comfortable in. This made the decision so easy and so helpful. I can't wait to go back for my try-on and fitting appointments soon. I had been to several bridal shops before this one and I can safely say, I wish I would've went hear first.

Buying a wedding dress from this location was such a wonderful experience, especially when comparing it with the other places I had been for before. They make you feel 100% welcomed as you walk into the store. They actually listen to your wants and find the exact dress you are looking for. I didn't feel any pressure to buy from them, they just wanted to ensure I find what I was looking for.

If you are reading Yelp reviews trying to narrow down which shop to make an appointment with on Oahu. You can stop now, YOU HAVE FOUND THE ONE! Masako Bridal saved my wedding! I purchased dress from a different shop, on a different island, months before my February wedding. It arrived and they began alterations. The dress became something that I did not feel good, happy, joyous, beautiful in. I could not breath in it, and I could NOT walk down the aisle in it. (aka they ruined it) for me. By the time I realized that they were not going to be able to fix this dress I was only 20 days away from the wedding. TWENTY DAYS. Can you feel the panic? I immediately started looking for dresses online that were ready to ship. And, I started looking at bridal shops on Oahu. When I found that Masako carried Jenny Yoo - and that they were the oldest shop on Oahu - I scheduled their next available appointment and I sent a message explaining my delimma. I had no clue whether they would be able to help because, well, TWENTY DAYS! Let me tell you the wave of comfort that followed that message is something special. They responded quickly and assured me that they would be able to help me find something I love. They offered options like purchasing off of the floor and even mentioned a rental option. They texted back and forth a bit to get an idea of what I was looking for before the last minute appointment. They immediately made me feel like I was in the best hands! And, as you can see by the photos - SUCCESS! I went to the appointment in the beautiful boutique. It was so private! No additional customers walking around. Kaylyn + Maddy pulled the perfect dresses for me. Kaylyn could see me trying to facetime mom and sis - no problem! She grabs a tri-pod and sets my phone up. They were empathetic, compassionate, and felt like sisters helping a sister out! And, of course they pulled THE ONE! I purchased it off the floor, and their seamstress came out and pinned and measured me on the spot. I returned a week later to a dress that fit perfectly, fell perfectly with my shoes on, and, most importantly, I could breath in! Haha - but seriously, I felt like a queen in that dress! What a crazy happy ending Masako Bridal gave me! Also, their service didn't end when I walked out with the dress. They were available by text to answer any questions I had. They advised me on what to do and what not to do. For example, not to get it dry cleaned, but spot clean. Get a good steam in before putting it on. And, to get the professional/perservation cleaning done afterwards. Any clarification I needed - they gave it! I can't thank the Masako Bridal Ohana enough! Without your help and this dress, my dream wedding would not have been possible!

Maddy, Kaylyn and Olivia were all AMAZING!!!! They made this experience for my best friend such a wonderful one. They were welcoming, knowledgeable, upbeat and so fun! My best friend found her dress! Thank you ladies for all your help for such a special day. Would highly recommend coming to see these ladies.

Prior to starting my wedding dress hunt, I was very hesitant. I started overthinking and felt discouraged that this might be a long process of finding the right dress...Masako Bridal was a one-stop-shop for me. I went in with my mom, my cousin and my daughter on a Saturday afternoon. We were blessed to have Maddy as our assistant with the entire process. If you know good energy, you immediately pick the good vibes up when meeting her. I told her exactly what I was looking for in a dress, and she was attentive and quick with bringing back some options. The very first dress that she had me try on was spot on my style. That told me that Maddy was definitely my girl and knew exactly the look I wanted. I was excited and hopeful for the dresses to come and it shifted my mood entirely-giving me all the feels a happy bride should have. I had a couple choices I fell in love with, each having its own charming things about them. But it came down to ONE that I knew I'd be able to create the exact look I've been dreaming of! The dress screams IT GIRLLL, and I can't wait to show it off on my big day! Both Maddy and Kaylin make a great team here. They really make you feel like they are 1000% there for you without the pressure of just wanting to sell any dress but rather making sure it's right for you, and you're in love with it as you should be! Super thankful for Masako Bridal. Thank you Maddy, this will hold as a core memory for me and my journey of becoming a bride.

Review on the process: i got the dress in 5 months before the wedding. had to go in at least 5 times to make sure the dress was fitted right. There were a lot of alteration since I'm petite but the process was not bad at all. All the ladies that worked there were amazing and helpful. At the end of it, the dress was just right for the wedding. At the wedding I got many compliments about how timeless and beautiful/classy the dress was. Thank you for making the experience wonderful! Also I found out you can no longer park at Masako so if you are looking for parking, park at Wholefood and walk across the street. :)

Came here back in September to look for my wedding dress, I was determined to get my dress here because of my budget. I wanted to get a dress for no more than $1200. Although there are other bridal shops on the island, I didn't want to go over board on an expensive dress. I went to my first appointment to look and try on dresses with two of my close friends and my mother. I was pretty nervous going in but right when I stepped into their store the lady working (sorry I don't remember her name) welcomed us in like we were family. (My initial thought after the appointment was like wow this lady is really good at her job and customer service ). She led us the the fitting room and she picked out some dresses based off my budget and what style I was looking for. I also picked out some and I was getting a little worried because I couldn't find a dress that I really loved... Until the last dress I tried on and I found the dress I wore to my wedding. The price was $1200 but the lady helping me said it was the last of its design and that the designer wasn't going to be making anymore. I was so sad until she told me that since it's the last dress and it's the display dress that I could have it for $600!! Basically 50 percent off of course I took that deal! So I bought the dress and scheduled my second appointment for the alterations because the dress was quite too big for me and they had to cinch in the chest part. For my second appointment I went with my two cousins that weren't able to make it to my wedding because they live on the mainland. They helped me get a second opinion in with the alterations. I went back after this for my third appointment to try on my dress with the new alterations and everything was all good. I left that day with my dress! All together with the original price of the dress and the alterations, I spent about $900 in total. The staff at Masako bridal were the best, they were super attentive and I had a great experience with them. Thank you Masako bridal for your awesome services, I definitely recommend this business. I'm happy to support a small business like this one! Everyone loved the dress, my husband said it was very beautiful . **Also keep in mind that this is a small business meaning that they don't have a big selection to choose from.
