The store manager, Giuseppe Mottola, provided exemplary service! His friendly demeanor and knowledge about the items in the store made for a really great experience. I ended up purchasing hundreds of dollars of jewelry.

I am rating this hotel with 3 stars only due to the pathetic registration process. Good luck if you are not a priority class because you will be stuck in the other two lines (general or Hilton Honors) while the 3-4 priority class check-in agents wait for the one or two priority members who show up. Yep, they stood around and waited while the other two lines grew longer and longer. At the concierge desk Tristan saved our vacation by taking the initiative to take us step-by-step through an orientation to the complex, the activities, places to eat, and good walking routes after we merely asked one question. He also provided more information than Norwegian Cruise Line had by telling us where their desk was located in the Diamond Head Tower. Overall, the room was great with a view of Diamond Head in one of the remodeled towers. The signage on the property always kept us feeling comfortable walking around the complex.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton. The location is fantastic and there is plenty to do. As per my title - the Diamond head tower is in desperate need of updating. Peeling paint, peeling wallpapers and stained furniture. That said, the property is nice and plenty to do. Nice pools and activities although the pools are mostly shade and it gets cold. The food was pretty good at most places but the room service menu is lacking any kids options (bizarre). Also the DVD card is old and archaic and they should just use the room keys. Overall a nice place that could really improve with some small changes

We stayed here for 5 nights for a work conference for my husband. The pros were that we had an ocean view from our room which was beautiful! We ate dinner at Bali which was delicious and offered a stunning view of the sunset! We also at at Aoki Teppanyaki one night and had another delicious meal. The large sidewalk for walking along the beach was nice too. The rest of the experience was disappointing, however. Our room had worn furniture and two double beds. The hotel said they were family friendly so most rooms had that set up but we had requested one king bed which would have been preferred. Overall, the hotel was extremely crowded! It was like being in a crowded large city. I didn't see many umbrellas at the pools for shade either. Small cabanas could be rented but they were basically just shade over two lounge chairs for $250 per day. They weren't what you would typically expect of a cabana. The adult-only pool was much less crowded but only had two umbrellas at the entire pool. While everyone who worked at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful, I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a Hawaiian vacation. It didn't feel like we were in Hawaii at all. It felt like we were in any other large city on a beach. If you were to come to Honolulu I would definitely recommend staying at another resort that would be potentially less crowded.

The hotel is a bit out dated and definitely needs updating. Nice location and stay are friendly but check-in and check-out lines at the main hotel look like getting in and out of a cruise ship. Definitely recommend the Ali’l tower as it has its own desk and is less busy.

Completely self contained. Great accommodations, outstanding restaurants and bars, shopping near by, and superb services. If you are looking for a stress free escape, The Hilton Hawaiian Village is a place you must consider. Also look at Shaka Tours. Make all of your off site excursions more interesting.

I can't ever resist walking into any of their stores during our trips to the islands. I've purchased a few items over the years and was pleasantly surprised at their current selection of items crafted from the teak decking of the USS Missouri! I'm a huge WWII history buff and have a collection of artifacts related to the war. I purchased a couple of these teak items to add to my collection. There seemed to be an odd price disparity between some of these items. A teak coaster of a substantial thickness was only around $18. A money clip with a thin strip of the teak was $70! Regardless, given the historical value these items are actually priceless!

Location and service was excellent will visit again. The staff was always helpful and eager to please. There is not a in room or door drop for food, which I think should be changed as some evenings we did not wish to leave our room, but had no choice if we wanted to eat.

The hotel is significantly understaffed and not at all prepared with proper COVID protocol despite being almost two years into the pandemic. Check-in times are often an hour or more and lines in the main area of the hotel are not at all socially distanced. Elevators are slow, poorly programmed or out of order. Crowds in the elevator routinely are 6 to 8 people. There was only one sit-down restaurant open for breakfast. One morning we were turned away because they were fully at capacity. While the fitness center requires the wearing of a mask, no one is present to make certain people comply with health and safety standards. One morning, 16 or the 18 occupants were without a mask. The free weight area was regularly not safe – crowded and all unmasked. The hotel continues to charge a daily resort fee of $50 despite having significantly less “resort” amenities available to guests. Amenities, like the fitness center, were not safe to use. On multiple occasions during our stay, we attempted to reach the general manager but were led to believe the person was MIA.

So I’m leaving this review to help guests figure if this is the spot to stay. So In my personal opinion it was a very nice resort but would I stay again? No and the fact of that being is the hotel only provides a mini fridge, and a 2 cup coffee maker when staying at a resort on a island where food is served in big portions I feel a microwave or microwaves throughout the hotel would be very accommodating and useful especially for the bigger families traveling and trying to save money on dining the ABC markets offered a lot of different food and a majority of it was to be heated or it needed boiling water.

Everything is there just a short walk away. The beach is beautiful where you can snorkel right there. We actually saw turtles right off the Hilton beach. ABC stores are everywhere for your food, drinks and souvenir needs.

I would give it negative 5* if I could, personally every time I comes to Hawaii I buy something from M&M , I have been a customer since 2008, just this month alone My friend and I bought $3000+ worth of jewelry from them from the 4 different islands, everywhere else service was great! But this Hilton Village location , not sure what's his name is, but it said Greg from the business card, bad bad bad bad bad service! We walked in, no greeting, we ask for help, he kind of ignore us, we ask a question, he just kept on saying I can't help...never ever coming back to this location anymore!!!
