Open early (430) if you want tupig or patupat. If you plan to order in bulk you might need to call a day or two ahead. The food is made the same day so you might not be able to pick them up right when they open. They also have other menu items but there is nowhere to eat indoors. You'll have to take out / carry out. It's right near the bus stop across Aala park. Parking is by the bank.

I'm going to keep it simple. WHEN they answer the phone and take your order, and COMMIT to cooking your order, then it's good lumpia otherwise it's a gamble on getting it from their business.

Teresa Silao was the person who answered the phone when I asked to inquire about pricing. She sounded fine on the phone but rushed me off the phone call. I requested for her to take a picture of her catering pans so that I could see the size of their pan, She replied, "Cancel, order to somebody else". It was very rude! I was offering her my business, and she didn't want it. Really horrible customer service & phone etiquette. 1st impression is everything. I don't know how this business thrives with that kind of customer service.

I absolutely love their tupig, but whoever answers the phone to take or confirm orders, needs to take lessons on people management and seriously, basic human manners. My mother always struggles to place a phone order and when she does, the lady who answers is rude, condescending, and at times, refuses to take orders. For this last order, my mom reached out to place an order well in advance because she knows that they're really busy. They got my mother's name incorrect, made it available on the wrong date, and blamed my mother for their error. When my mom asked to have them confirm and double check for the mistake, the lady refused to look it up and hung up the phone. We ended up having to call a different place who kindly allowed for a last minute order. I'd think that as a business, they'd be happy for orders but perhaps, this place is so successful that they're willing to reject orders people are willing to place. Their tupig has been highly recommended by my uncle, Tante dela Cruz, and I'll admit they're good, but that lady makes ordering from here a complete turn off (sorry uncle!). All in all, if you're willing to deal with rude staff for delicious tupig, this is the place to order.. otherwise, their tupig is sold from other vendors that I'd hope are more friendly but it comes at an added con of being more expensive.

Very rude inconsiderate and mean workers. Im not sure why they are mad to us buying or ordering a tupig. We always order their tupig and the lady making it, yell at us at pick up. Yesterday we ordered advanced for next day pick up and paid our order. At pick up today, we were running late and called them about our time. Teresa said, she already gave our order to someone, without calling or reminding us about it, but when we told her that we already pay the day before she said "come now and pick it up." But when we arrived there, she put the bag of tupig outside the store by the door. We did not understand why she did that! What a day for this store! NEVER again! What a very rude act of a business owner! Whatever her day should be, she should not put on to customers. Be kind, be nice, you dont know what other people are going thru.

While the food was good and the service was decent, we are nonetheless forced to give our experience low reviews because we had made reservations based on a Restaurant Week menu. The Restaurant Week Hawaii site offered making reservations via Open Table, which indicated available times. Imagine our surprise when we were told that the Restaurant Week menu was NOT available during our 1:30 p.m. meal. (That was not indicated on the Restaurant Week Hawaii site.) We were hugely disappointed but ordered an entree based on what was on the menu. Our meal's one saving grace, or so we thought, was that a dessert item on the menu was also included in the Restaurant Week meal. That dessert was a big part of why we selected Grondin for Restaurant Week. Then we were told it was "unavailable" -- which we weren't convinced was true, because Restaurant Week was in full swing, and that dessert was listed on the Restaurant Week menu. En total, it was a disappointing visit and an unfortunate choice.

Amazing food. Location is okay, sadly a lot of junkies in Chinatown. And sometimes server seemed to be rushing us to order drink or finish our business. My wife and I don't drink but we enjoy food. This was great! It seems that because we weren't drinking we weren't the ideal customers the server wanted there.

Early dinner on a Friday. Responsive, informative and knowledge service. The empenades were a mixed meat and accompanied by tasty sauce. The fish of the day was presented creatively and exceeded expectations as did the duck dish. Recommend you visit and enjoy !

Salty Night. I enjoy the food here and have been many times. For some reason, everything we got on this particular night, seemed over the top salty. Still good preps and great menu selections. Music was great, but then later got very loud and techno which did not seem like dinner music and my guest and I had to raise our voices to hear one another. Excellent staff, genuinely attending to their customers.
