Solid gym, alot of equipment to take your lifting journey to the next level. Would recommend for more experienced lifters.

Knowledgeable coaches and an ohana close-knit atmosphere with serious training in mind for anyone who’s into powerlifting, bodybuilding, overall strength training or strongman.

I first stepped into Mana Barbell back in 2017 when my friend invited me to train here for powerlifting after I did my first USPA powerlifting meet. But, I didn't start consistently training at Mana Barbell with Coach Darren Matsumoto until 2019. With that said, if you've been looking for a no-nonsense garage style equipped gym (that is non-global or latest fad-type of gym) where you can train with others (teens to senior age level) who are just as serious with their lifting journey then Mana Barbell should be a gym to consider as the lifting history and knowledge of the owners as well as the lifters speaks volumes on why Mana Barbell is known in the lifting community because they all have competed from state to international levels. When you step into Mana Barbell, you'll find photos along the wall of their members who are also well-known in the powerlifting community as well as their team awards. Mana Barbell also gives back to their community by holding local meets (powerlifting and strongman). If you are still reading this and find yourself interested in training or if you are visiting the islands and want to drop-in, come on down to the gym to speak with someone as there are various training days for powerlifting, strength training and strongman. Membership Price: Reasonable Drop-in Price (daily or week): Reasonable Recommend: ONLY if you're serious and will re-rack your weights

I had the privilege of training here for a couple months. This is a no-nonsense gym, meaning you are there to work hard. But you are welcomed into a small, knowledgeable family that will celebrate your good lifts with you and help you learn from your not-so-good ones. You won't go wrong by going here, and it's worth the drive if you'll have one.

this is by far the best place you could work out the owner is is very low cost and allows multiple workouts in one week he works one-on-one sessions with you and no one is neglected and brought into the family he is on there since about 2010 and hold multiple and different sessions a day without him I wouldn't be where I am today I've been working hard for the past year with coaching

My favorite gym in Hawaii! I started going there shortly after it opened up. I trained for my first powerlifting competition and my first strongman competition with the people of this gym . Awesome people and atmosphere!

Loved this hardcore gym!! Just went once with my friend, who's a regular at Mana BB, and they hooked me up with a free session and let me join in on a hard-AF squat w/ chains workout. I wish I lived closer to town just because of this gym
