I'm not one to leave reviews often, but I simply had to after my experience with Mac Mouse Club. My iMac 27 was overheating and I decided to give them a call. They advised me to drop it off and they would take a look. After diagnosis, John informed me that the graphic card was failing and recommended against repairing it due to cost-effectiveness. I ended up purchasing a new iMac instead. What impressed me the most was that they didn't charge me for the diagnosis.I truly appreciate their honesty and integrity, and strongly believe that they deserve to be compensated for their service. I would have gladly paid at least $25 or $35 for their expertise. It's evident that they're a small business that values their customers over profit, which is refreshing in today's world.Even though I live on the other side of town, I didn't mind driving all the way to Waikiki because it was well worth it. If you're looking for someone to take a look at your Mac, I highly recommend Mac Mouse Club!

I needed to see what's wrong with my laptop that wouldn't charge (MacBook Pro 2015). They ran some tests, opened it and did a diagnostics, all free of charge in less than a day! I decided not to go through with the repair (old water damage as it turned out) just because I don't need it that bad now.Communication was great, location and parking is convenient, will definitely come back!

A general repair store for Mac products. They offer a great service but they are not a retail location for the products

Just had my MAChine upgraded and some slowness issues addressed. It's been my experience over the years that Rolf (and his new assistant Joe) really knows his stuff. It's just $179 for doing upgrades and/or general troubleshooting. Bring the MAChine to them or Rolf will come to your house. In business here a LONG time and has built a reputation as reliable and fair. Love his perch on the top floor of a Waikiki condo!

I have hired Rolf for large jobs and for tiny jobs. In all instances, he treats me with respect, doesn't talk "down" to me, and is consistently optimistic, cheerful, and philosophical in just the right way. He is worth every penny.

I first hesitated to post this as I wish him the best. Nonetheless , I have to say my experience was beyond bad. I showed him my laptop and asked if my charging was charging it right. He turned my computer on, and he tried to charge it with his charger. His charger battery light turned orange , and explained to me that charger turns orange when charging , and green when battery is full. He then tried to use my charger and compared if it lit up orange color the same as his ( meaning it is charging ) and looked if charging percentage was going up. It went up for one percent. That means there’s nothing wrong with my charger . I then asked how much I owed him for his service in front of this other lady that just came in . He said normally he would charge me full day between $160.00 - $ 180.00, but he was only gonna charge me half day for his service after “he only checked my charger”. Therefore he said he would only charge me $90.00. I paid him that much (Ninety Dollars). Is that a reasonable price for any sensible person to analyze this experience ? Bless his heart.

This is a family style repair store located at Waikiki. The owner is nice and kind. Unfortunately they couldn't recover my data, but they recommend DriveSavers, which did the job. They didn't charge me when they could recover my data, which was nice

Rolf was awesome. My iMac crashed and I had not backed it up in the 8 years we've had it. Took it to the Genuis Bar and they hooked it up as an external hard drive. Everything was gone! Somehow the hard drive renamed it's and the tech told me in ten years he had never seen that before. Great. With his suggestion I sent it away to DriveSavers. They ran an evaluation and said there was a severe logical issue. Based off of the anticipated difficulty it would be $1,800 to $2,200. We just could not afford that so I had it sent back. A friend recommended Rolf. He said Rolf saved his data from a crashed drive and did the same thing for his son. So I contacted him. Rolf was easy to work with from the get go. Never made any kind of false promises, but "if can, can. If no can, no can". He offered to have me drop off, but I went up to his place. Everything was super casual, so it felt a little uncomfortable at first, but based off of my friends recommendation, I trusted Rolf knew what he was doing. In the end I got most, if not all my files. Some videos got chopped up, there were files that I don't think I have ever seen before, and there is no organization or descriptive file names, but I'll just have to go through it. Since it was a little more time consuming, my total bill was $358, much better than $2,000. Check out Rolf. Great guy, great service. If you have any Mac issues, this is the best place to start looking for solutions.

Paid ~$350 to get my MacBook fixed. I was happy because I got it back the same day. But, it came back with same issues. They put in a different hard drive which was supposed to solve the problem and it did not. I emailed them to inform them the work done didn't fix my problem. No response.
