Enough cannot be said about this very special refuge from the rat race of town. Flowering trees from all over the world. Each month has its own personality, or mix of blooms. Trails are well tended, and not overlong--even for the active senior. Truly magical.

Lyon Arboretum is a public botanical garden and a conservation research site for the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Seven miles of hiking trail allow access to our property of almost 200 acres. We are open to the public five days a week, and parking and visitation are free. Reservations are required.
