Lita, one of the owners made us feel so special - see gifted each of the children with a strand of Pikake while we each picked out our favorite lei for the rest of our trip. True customer service.

So disappointed in Nita's. It's the only stand I go to and I ordered a lei for my mom's birthday a few days in advance. Not only was it not what I wanted and thought I ordered which may have just been an communication mistake but the pikake is SO open. It looks it was worn all day and then put back in the fridge, to add to my disappointment , I saw them stringing beautifully fresh pikake. I now have to go get another lei. I don't know why I ordered a lei if it was going to look like that. I understand flowers are nature and you can't control it but I am so upset. There could have at least been some sort of acknowledgment of it or an option to substitute. Either go in and look at what you're getting or go somewhere else.

Lady shop downtown right off of Beretania Street. Street parking when available. There are other lay businesses on that corner so you can shop around. Go early so that you can have better choices of the lace that they have available.

Currently 7:30AM opening time. My favorite shop for years, especially for lei po'o/haku. Reasonable prices and beautiful selection, though of course depends on time you go.

Beautiful leis made with care. Prior to purchase they customized the one I selected with ribbon and trim. Extremely friendly and kind. Very reasonable pricing. I plan to be back again soon! 5 stars.

It's now called Nita's Leis and Flower Shoppe but they still offer a great variety of floral leis. They offer a good variety of price points and are super helpful. I had to place an order for 3 days of leis for a conference and had no problem fulfilling the order. Pretty leis at an affordable price with friendly service. So awesome!

Fabulous service. It was after hours and they still let us in to get the leis we needed. a lovely couple who was super helpful and have a nice arrangement of gorgeous wonderful smelling flowers.

One of the best places to go for special types of local flowers. Even the other florists will recommend this lei shoppe if you're looki6for pakalana or pikake. They can take large orders. Warning: 1) they don't always check the quality of the lei that are individually bagged and will sometimes sell you lei at the regular price even when some of the flowers or leaves have turned brown. Request a discount or walk away. 2) they refuse to take orders in May because of graduation. Seriously, I tried to order flowers for my wedding. I was told that I should get married in a different month. In this situation, if you dont care about the specific type of flowers, then there are other florists in the area or even Watanabe, that will take orders. If you do need local flowers, then I'd call the local plant nurseries for recommendations.
