Playground: Great place to take family. A B dusty, but great open field.Restrooms: 2 kinds of bathroom: with doors and without doors.Dog-friendliness: Take your dogs, but clean up after them.Picnic area: Not that much picnic table so bring your own or eat in the car.

Great place! Buuuut...youd think they could afford a few ceiling fans. Bad Feng Shui. Hot as Hades and no breeze. Esp when 200+ people all gathered together. Please install some Costco type fans and move some of that air! Amazon has 96" industrial fans for only $550.amazon.com/Industrial-Ce…

At first glance it's a peaceful and beautiful place. I've been here over a hundred times in the course of my lifetime for multiple events, but never for my personal use. The staff and and administrative office were always very nice during those events and someone told me I could come here on my own and so I did. I needed a quick place to eat lunch with my family, but Ke'ehi Lagoon Park (next door) had some sort of event.There were no obvious "reservation" signs around so, I picked a random picnic table. I quickly realized that was my mistake and I Googled if it was free to the public and found that it was free to the public "to rent".Take what you want from this review this is from my personal experience. Again, the staff were not unkind in anyway and the park is beautiful in my opinion, BUT if you want to have a family picnic, (just to be sure) ask a staff member first.
