I asked people living in Hawaii about recommended places near the Kahala Hotel. There were my own bags behind the checkout counter, and the cheapest bags were $1 each. I bought a large quantity to give away as souvenirs. There were other types such as 2 dollars and 4 dollars. The store area is smaller than the Whole Foods across the street, but some items were cheaper here. I also bought Hawaiian Host's macadamia chocolates in large quantities as souvenirs because they were cheap. When you go to Kahala Mall, it's about a 5 minute walk, but I highly recommend going there.

The inside of the store seems small compared to its appearance.
It's smaller than Waikiki Market in Waikiki. The prices were Kahala prices, so I felt there was no need to go out of your way.
I was looking forward to it as it was introduced on TV etc., but it was a bit disappointing since the atmosphere from the outside was nice. .

The liquorrrrr options! Do not sleep on them. Kind, friendly staff & for reference there isn’t a restroom inside.

More upscale than regular foodland. Selection not as big as the Ala Moana one, though.

A small but excellent grocery. Lots of prepared food options, and high quality produce.

Nice market for the quick bougie grab. Not alot of a selection but they have a high end feel that has the basics covered.

Nicest Foodland on Oahu. Great poke choices at reasonable prices.

From Hawaii's main street, you will need to travel by bus, Uber, trolley, or rental car.
There are more locals than in Waikiki.
The same area also has a shopping mall, restaurants, and a food court.
When shopping, don't forget to bring a large eco bag and ice pack.

The Smallest Food Land Market, Expensive and very Poor Selection of Foods and Beverages.
The Kahala Market is just a Convenience Store,
Shop at Foodland Farms in Ala Moana,
They have Everything You Need!

Carefully selected items and love buying local (always shop local when can, we need to support our agriculture!) The plants and fresh-cut flowers are the healthiest and prettiest in the area. One time I found red speckled anthuriums which I think were flown in from Big Island. Such a good feeling coming here because the employees are kind, selections top-notch curated.

I went there for an early dinner to Daiichi Ramin. The food is excellent, the price is very reasonable for what you get. Huge portions that I always take home. A very quant place with good atmosphere and plenty parking available. It is a hidden treasure. Go there and I promise, you will not be disappointed! Enjoy.
