Great groomer, staff and customer service. They were really kind, professional and affordable. I definitely recommend this Dog Spa, it's well worth it!

Two for two. Both times home runs. Took our girl Suh for grooming and she turned out fantastic. She was low stress when I dropped her off and same calm when I picked her up.

I have been a loyal customer for years, beginning when they were located on Kaheka Street. The groomers are excellent, and the owner is incredibly attentive and considerate.

Hands down the best dog groomers in town ! They always do stellar work grooming our dog of which includes nail trim, paw pad moisturizing, hair trim, ear cleaning, and wash. We always look forward to the cute and funny pictures we get from a mini photo shoot they do post grooming. Their photo staging even changes depending on the time of year!

Easily accessible at Ward Center. Great service and my doggy doesn't try to skidaddle when we pull up to the place. (which means she enjoys it there.)

I never expected a doggy spa in this building! I love how the location is convenient and has accessible parking which is a must. What I love even more about them is that they're open on Saturdays and when you work M-F, your weekends really be for errands and appointments. Pretty straightforward when it comes to scheduling your fur baby and really sweet staff! The price is pretty reasonable especially since I have a pomeranian (which mean lots of fur yikes) They call you when everything is all pau and will text you a picture of them posed in their seasonal decorations. The only thing about that is they tend to forget to send me a picture so I would have to call them as a reminder but other than that, best believe Luffy and I will be coming back as regulars!

I can see keeping a dog in a restraint collar while they're being groomed... but to keep dogs, who are waiting for their appointment, in restraint collars, is just cruel. The restraint collar is similar to a leash that is attached around the dog's neck then tied to a pole overhead. This place has a play area so why not let them run around while they're waiting? All groomers were with other dogs. The ungroomed, waiting dogs, were not even able to fully lie down. They couldn't put their heads down because of the restraint collar. Why put a dog in a restraint for longer than they need to be? Once they begin their grooming, it will be another two to three hours, being in restraints. Such blatant disregard for a dog's well-being is an indicator that they view the dogs as just a way to make a buck. At least they have a big window so you can watch your dogs being groomed/mistreated. Please don't bring your dogs here unless they change these cruel practices. If you are the owner, please educate your staff, that this is not okay.

How hard is it to find a place to host a dog party INDOORS? Pretty impossible in Hawaii right? I thought this place could have been perfect. I reached out on a Sunday requesting a dog party for my small dog and a few of his friends. I had not heard from them in a few days so decided to call on Wednesday and the lady answered saying someone can respond to me that Friday via e-mail (Not sure what the dilemma was that it could not be answered on the phone considering the email I got was short and basically NO). I waited and mind you it was nearly a week later from inquiring for such a disappointing response. Apparently they cannot accommodate a dog who does not get groomed by their salon and oddly they do not host parties on weekends. They're closed on Sunday so that just leaves Saturday. So, the day people can spend the most time with their dog and friends is unavailable. For a convenient spot in the middle of town that has such a large dog community, it is beyond disappointing. Also their website does not state it is only exclusive to their customers. It's a DOG. Haha regardless, have a blessed day. Lose money.

Took my pup there for 1st grooming. We were worried because he’s hyper and not very responsive to commands. We wanted a “puppy cut”. They said they’d have to cut little shorter than 2 inch we wanted as there were some knots around his neck area. We were shocked to see our pup shaved so closely (less than an inch). He has curly hair so it looked even shorter, as if he were bald. His whole body looked so thin and his head and ears looked so huge in comparison! We didn’t even recognize him! The haircut was uneven in so many areas. The most concerning to us, he was so subdued in manner when we picked him up. Usually he’s so happy to see us he’ll bark and jump up and down with excitement. We thought first haircut can be traumatic so maybe he was still in shock. We were so worried because this subdued version of him lasted 24 hours!!! He didn’t eat that night and just slept or laid around It was as if he was zoned out!!! We will never take him there again!!!

My dog has been to many different dog spas over the years, but we love Johnny's! They are able to cut my dog's hair very well and consistently well, so I'm not surprised when I go to pick him up. They are friendly, and my dog seems to like it there too! I took my dog to Johnny's around Valentines Day and Easter and they sent me pictures of my pup dresses up according to theme, it was adorable! They had background props and everything

I love the ladies here and this location! It is next to Paul browns hair salon in Ward.. It is the absolute best! They are so kind and my dog comes out looking so handsome. He is well washed and groomed when he is finished and he doesn't stay all day for his grooming he is usually there 2 hours. He goes to Yukiko and we love her.

Brought my senior dog here for the first time (I was asked by his last groomer to bring him elsewhere). They did an amazing groom on him. When I brought him home, my mom said that Johnny's did a better job than his last groomer. When I asked to book another appointment, I was afraid they wouldn't do it but they did. His groomer and the staff there are courteous and mindful of your dog's needs. I would totally recommend Johnny's Dog Spa to anyone looking for a groomer.

If you take your dog anywhere else on this island for grooming, you are making a mistake. I have tried going elsewhere to save a little cash, and every time it has been a mistake. This place isn't the cheapest, but it is the best. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else on island. My mother owned a groomers in California. My first job was grooming dogs. I know what quality grooming is, and this is where you'll find it.

They take the best care of Ruffles! We've been taking him on ~monthly basis and they've consistently done a wonderful job. Packages/prices are fair for the quality of work. They work promptly and always do a great job. Definitely recommend!
