Had an appointment scheduled for over a month. Received phone call the day of appointment canceling because there was no technician to do the job. No remorse or apology. I've been trying to get a recall taken care of for months and it has been nothing but problems and wasted time.

!UPDATE! Please avoid this place at all costs.. going on 7 months, and they still haven't been able to even find out whats wrong with my vehicle, let alone fix it. I've been on the wait list for a rental car this whole time as well and they still haven't been able to provide one. If you want to save yourself from stress, the worst customer service imaginable, not having to wait half a year for your car to be fixed for a check engine light then listen. Learn from my mistake coming here. im still in shock this is happening to me. Iv called and contacted everyone i could for help with this situation, and since it's not there car/problem no one cares. Pray for me.

I have been going to JN service for the last 3 years and been getting good service so far until last month in July 2023. I scheduled an oil change appointment two weeks prior, hoping that it’ll just take an hour but I was wrong. I waited more than 3 HOURS to get a simple oil change.Within the first hour, I asked the update on my car and the lady said they’re trying to start my car because it’s not starting. I was confused because my car was working perfectly fine when I dropped it off. After the next hour, I asked for an update again and they said they’re waiting on some parts to come in. And so I was confused again because shouldn’t they have the parts or whatever they need prior the appointment??? I scheduled weeks before and so they should’ve known that I was coming so they should be prepared, right? I was already disappointed because first of all, they couldn’t start my car in the first place and now they had to wait for parts to continue an oil change. After the service was done, I got my keys and the steering wheel was stuck so bad that I couldn’t start my car so I had someone do it for me. Then when my car started the word “INSPECT” was still on my dashboard. So I called for the mechanic and said it should be gone once I start driving it and I suggested to reset my dashboard so I don’t see it. The mechanic said I can find that in the manual. But shouldn’t that be their job to reset it??? And I paid money to have them service my car?? And now they want me to go through the manual and do it myself???? I definitely know nothing about cars so it’s just disappointing to not get the kind of service you’re expecting.

I just came from the mainland and I went to the JN Chevrolet dealership on June 13. I was extremely disappointed with the salesman at this dealership. On that day, I had already got a pre-approved finance document from my credit union, and I was planning to put in a deposit if there was a great deal for a 2023 Chevy Colorado. When I arrived at your dealership around 4 pm, one salesman came to facilitate me. He was the rudest salesman I had ever contacted, given that I had bought a few cars previously on the mainland and in my home country. I asked him about the availability of incoming trucks and out-the-door prices. He insisted that he could not discount a 4800$ markup and kept asking me whether I had money to deposit for a car or not. He refused to give me an out-the-door quote and his name card.Because of his very rude behavior while I was negotiating a markup, I said I might not put a deposit with him and may go shop around at other dealers for a lower markup if he could not discount a markup. I clearly remembered his rude statement because no one had ever said this to me. He said, "If other dealers have a vehicle you're looking for, why did you come here? Since they don't have vehicles like us, we have to do markup." I said, "Maybe Servco has a lower markup truck." He insolently replied, "If they have it, why did you come here? Go to Servco!". After this extremely rude statement, I did not know what was wrong with him, so I walked out immediately. I felt very disappointed about the unprofessional salesman and lost all trust in this dealership. Then, I went to Servco as he said. Currently, I have already put a deposit on a truck at Servco with an incomparable buying experience without markup. I hope a manager would train this salesman before letting him service a customer.

3 months to just be able to get a service appointment for a car they sold me just a couple of months ago. I don’t mind repairs to a used car but 3 freaking months just to have it checked out. Insane. Stay clear of this place. Ridiculous service backlog.

Came back to purchase our third vehicle and wanted something reliable. We've always had a good experience here. The sales manager Braven and Kimo were a great help and helped us to walk out with the perfect car for our family at a very good price! Come and see them when you're in the market for a new vehicle! They have a great selection!

I brought my Corvette in for service in December 2022 and it's now mid May 2023, I took it in, because I needed a new caliper and key fob issue. We did a walk through and this is collectors car, Pristine condition so no damages were signed off. I called in April because it took so long, they said that they installed the wrong parts and also the car got damaged. I went to see what happened and they have no explanation as to how they car got damaged and the new parts were rusty and they lost some of my original parts. I asked to see the manager, Jean and waited 5 hours to see her and they called me to say sorry she wasn't able to meet me. I have been trying to call every week now and no one is getting back at me. I will be taking this to court now.

Save yourself a headache and DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM HERE! I purchased a new, 2017 Chevy Colorado that immediately had transmission problems (lurching, bucking, kicking, shuddering). I brought the truck in multiple times over the course of a few years and they never resolved the issue. Every time they test-rode the truck, they could "never recreate the issue." I even did a test drive with the technician and we both felt the kick and still no help. Now there is a class-action lawsuit that says GM knowingly sold trucks with faulty transmissions and the suit claims "Dealers were directed to tell the customers that harsh shifts were 'normal or 'characteristic." Sounds familiar! See: (roadandtrack.com/news/a4…)My only mistake was that I misunderstood my warranty and thought the transmission/drivetrain warranty was good for 60,000 miles, but it turns out it's either 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. The last time I called, it was four days after my 5-year warranty expired, at 54,000 miles, and I was advised there was nothing they could do. Either way, I brought the truck in multiple times prior to this date and feel as though they kept pushing me out of warranty by refusing to address the issue. Now, I have a failing transmission with a $7900 repair estimate from a local shop but parts aren't available. Save yourself the headache and avoid JN Chevrolet at all costs because once you drive off the lot you are on your own!

These people are sketchy. First i make appointment before my JMA coupon expired. When i get appointment for a month later they say its expired and i have to pay. I then call the manager who does fix the issue, but then they do safety inspection i didn’t ask for and ask multiple times for my registration and insurance in which i go to the car to find. So when going to pay and look at what they did they do my oil change but not tire rotation due to not finding my wheel lock. But they never asked me for that! It was in same area as my insurance and registration. And they never tell me about when paying. I found it in two seconds. Shady bro, just shady. Not going back.

There is no service after the sale, just empty promises and lies. Totally unreliable.Their idea of auto dealing is spraying some quick shine on and not wiping it all off.I got the car I wanted, but will not return for any reason.

Really good experience here. Mike M. Is a good dude, not pushy and very helpful and highly recommend. He also let me take a peek at a new corvette. 4 star cause the managers decided Mike's time was better spent vacuuming another car and just hounded him. Find Mike for a good experience!

We recently brought a new/used car from JN Chevrolet. Lazar who sold us the car did a very good job in completing the deal along with the manager and finance department. They were professional, courtesy, fast and smooth with no complications at all! They all provided us with great service and made us feel welcome. Thank you for making it possible in purchasing another car. JN Chevrolet Honolulu Team is AWESOME!
