Great service! Vehicle was purchased online as I could not travel off island to the business lot. Vehicle arrived as pictured in the photos and video that was sent to me, and in working condition. Friendly staff made buying the vehicle a pleasure. Would definitely do business again with JDM Hawaii.

Hard to put into words exactly what my experience was like, just know it felt like a family bbq and leaving with a pan of baked beans. Definitely not my last bbq with JDM Hawaii/ Sky Auto.

Great and Trustworthy special import dealership,
When I came in, I wasn't sure if there was a place that would be able to deliver on my import request for a car, all I had to do was tell them what kind of car I was looking for and Slater and his team got on it. If you aren't interested in doing the headache of the import process yourself, it is very well worth it. I was looking for a good condition car and when Slater presented me this option, he said that to not rush for it because he was confident they would find other cars in similar condition easily, but I was sure this car was a good choice.
When they secured my car in Japan they had it inspected and repaired/updated some components prior to shipping it here which is nice due to the parts availability. Slater got perfectly within my budget and he was giving me updates on the process throughout.
My expectations were exceeded, thanks to the people working here!

I got my 1999 daihatsu Mira Gino. It’s been a week, so far so good. I worked with Bryce, Tom and finance part with Robert. It was a smooth experience on their part. A little bump with my bank. But the car is great and in great condition for being 26 years old. Will return.

It was a wonderful experience and very informative of the mini van that we bought. Explained to us how we need to take care of the vehicle because of the age of the vehicle. We appreciated the honesty that the sales team shared with us. We can barely wait to get another one of these precious little vehicles.

It's been 3 weeks since I've purchased my vehicle from JDM. It's a 1999 Honda Accord Wagon and she's beautiful. I am beyond happy! The process from beginning to end was quick and easy. Robert is amazing, he was there every step of the way. Bryce is awesome with assisting wherever possible and both are quick to follow-up, communicate, assure and motivate.

I called JDM to inquire about a Kei Truck and Robert helped me every step of the way. He chose the truck that was perfect for my farm - 1997 Suzuki Carry. Just picked up the truck today at the Hilo Port. Would have given 5 stars if they had told me how to take the gas cap off the truck- it had no gas on arrival and I had to call and ask but other than that I highly recommend these guys for a Kei truck or van.

If I could give negative stars I would. I picked up my vehicle in November from Kawaihae Harbor drive it to Kona then to Hilo and back to Kona and it died on me never to start again. It's been sitting since before Thanksgiving and the dealer doesn't care and there isn't a shop in Kona willing to work on it for me. If given the opportunity to deal with this company again I wouldn't. They can care less about any service that you will need on Big Island anyway

The staff at JDM Hawaii were very friendly, responsive, and helpful. They made buying a JDM car simple, explained their car selection process and the services they offer well and were able to answer any of the questions I had. Overall great experience and I would go through them again should I need to buy another car.

Absolutely great Customer Service and Professional staff. Huge selection of KEI Trucks, Van's, Car's, and some really unique specialty rides. Go check them out and get yourself a new ride, we did. Slater is the Man who made these vehicles so popular in Hawaii.
