Our house roof has wind and rain damage, since June 2023, the adjuster and kapili roofing still has not started the repairs and adjuster paid them up front before the work, maybe he is on the Take. Trying to contact both agent and adjuster as well as kapili roofing no one calls back or answers the phone. Honing to post on social media and contact action line!!!

I loved my time with Island Insurance, I just found something else that offered a little more coverage for a couple more $$ Customer service people were always super helpful whenever I needed to call

Changed my insurance from progressive in December of 2022 to Island insurance. I was quoted $100 for two vehicles. As January comes around I get charged for my insurance on the 26th. I didn’t pay attention to the price until I looked at my bank statements in Mid February. I looked online to see why I was charged $200. In the account it says we’re charging you $200 due to two accidents in 2021. So I cancelled my insurance on the 23rd. On the 24th Island insurance stated they didn’t get the paperwork which I forwarded to them but at this time I was going to get charged on the 26th, which I did. On the 27th they stated insurance was canceled and they would cut me a check. So it’s the 20th of March and I still haven’t received my check. According to the representative it takes 2-3 weeks for you to get your money back from when they approved my check. I will never go to this insurance ever again. It’s funny how they can just take your money with no problem but to refund you it takes weeks. I needed this money to put on my new insurance. Most people in Hawaii live paycheck to paycheck. Good thing I was able to scrape some money to put progressive back on which is only $130 a month and they have an app.

I wish I could give ZERO star, Very unprofessional company!! I filed a claim 10 days ago, no one call me back to follow up!! I tried to called the adjuster after 24 hours, no one answer the phone and no one call me back!! What kind of customer service ???

Purchased the cheapest insurance $26 a month. Basic, no real coverage, but affordable for my income. My parked car was hit by someone who was ready to flee after slamming into my car. Fortunately, my friend and I seen the incident and ran after her to block her from getting away while we called the police.I was given a police report. Although I know there was no coverage on my end, I thought I'd still let Island Insurance know.To my surprise, they contacted the driver's insurance company and followed up. I was then sent a check to have my car fixed.In my opinion, I got more than my cheap premium. Excellent service and I'm grateful!Thank you so much!

If it would let me I would give you 0 stars Island Insurance but in order to post I must choose 1 star.My mom 78 years old Myriem Benoliel’s battle continues, spending her savings money to pay for her medical bills, meanwhile Island Insurancedelays, delays, delays on settling her claim. To you Island Insurance Myriem is just a number waiting in a “que” not a person fighting for her life. Shame on you Island Insurance. She did not walk away from this accident she is permanently disabled smashed from behind whileshe sat at a red light on her way home from work one afternoon 1 mile from herhome in Maui by a moving truck driven by one of its employees who was unlicensed speeding and distracted. The trucking company is insured by you Island Insurance .

Terrible service. No sense of honest work or trying to understand the community. Truly sad to see a company with island in its name act like a big business and shows no care about the people who make this island function. They have to sleep with how they treat people so thats enough for me. But don't ever file a claim with this insurance even if your not a fault because they will still find a way around getting you a check cut for accident expenses. If I could I would give them zero stars worst car insurance on this island!!!! JAKE SAND is the worst claims investigator in the company RUDE and don't even listen to my side and only assume stuff that never happened couldn't even watch the video when that dummy went hit my car!!! Do you guys a favor? Don't go with this company because all they can do is take your money and then deny a claim after that. SAD FREAKING COMPANY!!! You would think since it's a local company that will help the locals out but yeah right!!!!!!
