The tax preparer did not individualize my experience and failed to ask me any questions about possible deductions. Furthermore, they did not try and save me money spent with H&R Block in reference to the service I booked. I was not explained that there would not be penalties on my current year since I failed to file my state taxes in the previous year. I have done my taxes with H&R Block for years, online only. When I came in for the first time as an in store customer, my preparer told me I would qualify for a discount. After asking the manager, they found out that I do not qualify. Also, although I have been doing my taxes for years online, my preparer had no access to my previous year files when I needed help with amending a previous return. I will do my best to make sure every young person knows better about the advantages of not only sticking with free options, but not choosing H&R Block to take advantage of their ignorance when it comes to filing their taxes. I'm disappointed.

It was great to be able to upload my tax documentation which made the appointment to complete my taxes quick. All I had to do was review, go over a few things, and sign my return.

Back in 2017, I was a full time college student and worked part time at a restaurant.I came here to file my taxes with my w2's. The agent quickly drafted up my tax return..she said I would have to owe over $2500. I ended up filing at home on turbo tax and didn't owe anything and received over $3,000 on my 2017 tax return.

Went there to do my taxes for 2023 and I found out tax wasn't even sent then I called h and r block to see what happened and said I have to send it my self paid almost 400 for what? Idk to fill out a paper ridiculous no way!!! I'm doing taxes again there need to find better people who can communicate with others on what's going on
On top of that I had to cancel alot of meeting to go to h and r block 4 times to fill out paperwork
