“We went in to get a chain for a pendant, and the folks at the bead gallery crushed it! It was easy, customizable, and really helped make the pendant shine. It was great as they had lots of options, and we were able to get the perfect size cut for the necklace. I’m sure their online store is great, but if you’re in the Honolulu area, this is a great and super affordable place to get chains and some supppper pretty, hand-made beads. Go there!”
“This place is awesome, gotta be the best place for Gunpla on the island. Small shop with lots of kits, tools, and accessories for all at reasonable prices. Especially tools, since I saw so many tools that I couldn't find in other places or they're super marked up online. Derron was super helpful and went to great lengths in finding a hobby knife for me. Would definitely come here again for all my Gunpla needs.”
“Ordered twice and received items quickly to my door step on the mainland. These weren't small but decent sized orders. Loved the prices on the yarns compared to bigger arts and craft stores. Video tutorial was awesome. Hoping they restock more yarns that I need as they are very popular.

“The best collector shop on the island. This place is packed to the brim with toys, comics and more. They actually had a ghostbusters hot wheels ecto but we decided not to buy it because our 3 year old would want to open it. We ended up buying a peter venkman funko for him to play with. The owner is really friendly and helped us navigate our stroller in his tight shop.”
“I’m absolutely obsessed with the Moomin Shop in Hawaii! Everything in the store is beyond adorable—I had the hardest time only picking a few things. I picked up the cutest hat that gets so many compliments every time I wear it. Moomin himself is literally the cutest little guy, every time I look at him I get a spike of dopamine. I feel like there is something for everyone, from youngsters to adults. Also, the ladies running the shop are incredibly sweet and make the experience even better. If you’re looking for cute, unique souvenirs, this is the place to go!”
“Great atmosphere and quite nice staff. I was there for the Pokémon cards and there was a huge selection of singles, graded cards, and sealed products. The prices weren't the best, but not too overpriced. Picked up a PSA Grade 10 Radiant Greninja in Japanese for $30.”
“Re: gunpla. Fun store to browse and worth browsing for some harder to find standard release, like EZak and Flauros and a Dendrobium(!!!!). Unfortunately, for us tourists, prices include “island tax” (extra cost for importing), so about 50% higher than common prices on the mainland.”

“Though I've only stepped foot into their store a handful of times, every experience has been pleasant. During my most recent visit, I was looking to buy a radio and receiver for one of my RC trucks. I had a particular set picked out, but the gentlemen who further helped me with choosing a radio/receiver combo pointed me towards a much less expensive radio/receiver combo. He explained in detail the differences between the more expensive set and the lesser expensive set, and in the end, I found that the set that cost less would actually be a better option for my specific truck. I also went into the store with a parts list of components needed to repair my truck, and they were able to help me with every single one perfectly.
