rented scooters earlier this week, IT WAS AMAZING!! Joseph walked me through everything I needed to know, I was a bit nervous because it’s been awhile since ive rode a scooter, but he took his time helping me, and made me feel comfortable! He gave us a map with his favorite places to go, places to eat and even less busy beaches. Later that day, Joseph was driving on his scooter (im assuming on his way home) and stopped to tell us other places we could chain up the scooters. Little things like that have made my time in Hawaii that much more memorable. thank you joseph!! and check out hawaiian style rentals!

Brandon was fantastic to work with! We rented a two seater scooter and rode to Kailua for brunch to Easy Que (Brandon’s recommendation) and it was delicious. He showed us on the map a great route including the H3 that looks straight out of Jurassic Park! So lush and beautiful! Unfortunately I could take pics from the back of the scooter…highly recommend renting a scooter here!

What a ton of fun! Got to see more of the island, get out and explore at our own leisure and speed. Rented 3 scooter coupes and the staff was extremely helpful in recommending local spots to see, places to eat etc. Take a day and drive something fun!

My family walked by their lot, interested in riding the scooters, and the boys at the shop answered all our questions and concerns. We said we'd come back and think about it, and the guys said no problem, no rush. We are so glad we decided to come back! What a blast!Ian, DJ, and Joe walked us through everything. My wife, who was a bit nervous, had all her worries answered as she had never driven a scooter before.The guys showed us everything we needed to know. Fitted us with hemets, gave us maps with areas marked to visit, numbers to call if we had any issues. We were then sent on a quick test drive around the block to see if we felt confident to hit the road or if we had any questions. We were all good to go!It was a great 3 hours. Easy to drive, and we felt totally safe! Great way to check out Honolulu on your own terms! ?

We had the best time in Hawaii! We were able to drive everywhere we wanted thanks to our little scooters. It was really fun and we can’t wait to come back. We will def rent from these guys again. They were adorable and super professional! xx solene

Ian was great, he was helpful and very friendly. He made sure to go over everything to make certain I felt comfortable operating the scooter. My rental was exactly what I expected. It was new, only had a 2k miles, was clean and easy to operate. Thank you!

I had a great experience with Hawaiian Style Rentals! There was a slight miscommunication/misunderstanding, and I was charged two additional amounts. When I arrived home, I noticed the charges on my credit card; I called the company and explained the situation, and they end up reimbursing me for the additional charges. Two days after the reimbursement, I received an email from Michael from Hawaiian Style Rentals, and he went above and beyond and refunded my original rental fee for the mistake made on their part. I was super happy to hear/see what they did. They do genuinely care about their clientele.

The mopeds are an absolute must do on the island. You can stop and go as you please to see the sights at your own pace. It’s super fun and easy to ride. You can use the bike lanes too so you feel safer. Andrew and another girl staff member were very helpful and nice and answered all our questions and gave us ideas. We will definitely do this again for sure!! Totally worth it ? Mahalo ? Kirk and Kristy from AZ

TL;DR: A MUST when visiting Oahu and one of the best ways to explore the Island!!DJ was the best! Hella helpful, really knowledgeable and patient.I've rented from this company in the past and always had a great experience. My recent trip to Oahu, I kept telling my partner how fun it is to explore the Island on the mopeds but she has never ridden one before so was a little hesitant on trying them out.Finally convinced her to give it a try and went on over to the Uluniu location. We made reservations online and the check-in process was quick.Next was a helmet fitting while watching a little intro video on the "do's and don'ts" while on the mopeds. After the paperwork we're presented with our rides and given a little tutorial. I have a motorcycle license and have had experience riding mopeds around Oahu before so I was ready to get on the road.DJ was very good at explaining the basics on getting started and riding the moped to my partner and even had her do a couple of start/stop exercises before doing a couple of test laps around Uluniu, Koa, Prince Edwards.Once that was all done and we were feeling confident, we were off!Always the best experience and a great way to show the "Aloha Spirit". SHOOTS BRAH!

Best choice i ever did on the island these motor bikes are soo fun and convienent to get around wakiki. Range about 50-60 miles to fill up but its only like 6 bucks to fill up which is also nice would recommend to those who love to cruise and ride around the citys. NOTE YOU CANT RIDE THESE ON FREEWAYS they go about 45-50 mph they do offer bigger moto i believe.

Super friendly and convenient. Nice tipps for sightseeing and where to go. Only downside is that its a bit pricey compared to US car rental services.Returning time 5pm is a bit early, we took the additional package for more insurance and late return.We had a great time.

The rental process was straightforward and hassle-free. Special shoutout to the gentleman at the check-in booth who went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. He not only mapped out a custom route for us based on our interests but also shared personal stories and dining recommendations. His approach was patient and incredibly friendly.The rest of the staff were equally pleasant and helpful, contributing to an overall great experience.Do note that there are (IMHO) mandatory upgrades like the insurance plan ($25/day), which allows you to return the bikes after hours, and the phone mount ($15). While these costs may seem steep, the insurance is A MUST and the phone mount is essential for navigation, so it's worth it.Make sure to do a thorough test lap to check the bike's capabilities. We had a small hiccup as one of our bikes couldn't exceed 35 mph, which we unfortunately didn't notice during the test lap. This caused some delays but didn't significantly detract from the overall fun.
