I've used Haul2Hi services twice. The first time was fine - I ordered my items and since they were in Salt Lake at the time, it was pretty easy to arrange my pickup. However, now they are in Waipahu, and arranging pickup was a big hassle. Ordering was fine - they are responsive and I had no problems submitting my order and payment. This time I was unable to go to their location to pick up my items. In case you're wondering: yes I tried to go with another shipping company in town but they could not ship my items due to the materials. So I had to use this company, as there is no other option for shipping IKEA items to Hawaii. Their website didn't have any information regarding delivery, so I inquired and learned they do offer that service for an additional fee. Arranging delivery meant numerous emails between us and multiple quotes for a delivery fee. I would have much preferred if they laid everything out the first time: one fee for delivery paid in cash; additional 5% plus tax if you pay by credit card; one fee for curbside delivery; one fee for in-home delivery; one fee for in-home delivery and assembly. I did not like learning about these fees in multiple emails. I made specific arrangements for the delivery and they were initially unwilling to commit to a date and time. That was very frustrating. If you offer delivery service, you need to be VERY clear about the fees and when you will deliver because the customer also has to be present and sign for their items. The day of delivery, they allowed me to inspect one of the items which contained fragile material to make sure it wasn't broken, which I really appreciated. After delivery, I discovered a damaged piece (probably due to shipping) and inquired about replacement. They were very helpful and delivered, without charge, a replacement they had in their warehouse. I'm thankful they understand items get damaged during shipping and keep some backups in their warehouse. I hope they can smooth out the delivery fees/issues and update their website with delivery information, that information will be very helpful to customers who cannot pick up their items in person in Waipahu.

This business is a scam. Do not give them your money. i have been waiting since November to receive a table I ordered with Haul2hi. Haul2Hi has charged me for an item from Ikea that is no longer in stock and in fact, it has been discontinued. They keep pushing back our arrival time for a table that is nonexistent with Ikea. They refuse to refund us as we have asked when we found out the table we already paid for is no longer in stock.Beware if you would like to cancel or get your money back haul2hi will want to charge you $10 plus a 25% processing fee. Frankly, I want the extra fees to go to us as they cant provide us with our order.We are still trying for a FULL refund and haul2hi just pushed back our arrival time until may for the same table that is no longer available at Ikea. Can't believe this business has five stars anywhere they are TERRIBLE.Thankfully I only went with one item with them and not both I was quoted for. I was quoted $560 dollars to ship an ikea outdoor sofa. I ended up using my own freight forwarder for $166 to ship the SAME couch.The biggest most annoying rip off I could ever imagine. We have not had a dining table since november and are not able to purchase a different one until haul2hi gives us our money back. Use the local freight forwarders instead. They are so easy to work with unlike this awful scam of a business.

This business is a total scam. Do not buy from them. You can purchase ikea or other products that dont ship here and use your OWN third party shipper. They have quoted and charged me more than double what a freight forwarder would charge for an item from ikea. They make you pay for things that are not in stock. Ive been waiting since November for something I ordered with this business from ikea that is now discontinued and they refuse to refund me. Haul 2 ****** is a rip off scam, do not give them your money.

It's a rather smooth process. You look up the Ikea items you want and you email that to haul2hi.I ordered my items and they arrived less than a month later. They notify you by email once the items have arrived and you set a reserved time slot for pick up.That's pretty much where the smooth process ends.Upon arrival, a kind woman verified my name then asked if I was informed about the damage to one of my items. As the most recent correspondence I received was the confirmation of my order, I replied no. I was then showed to my item where it was found both the box and item were damaged.I was assured several times the damage was negligible and couldn't be seen, even bringing up schematics.I inquired if the damage was acquired during transport and that was confirmed.I inquired if a discount was an option. The kind first representative then referred me to a second representative, who I can only assume to have been her supervisor, who then, again, reassured me the damage was to something on the back of the unit and it could not be seen. Seemingly annoyed I asked for a discount. He then quickly and callously offered $5 or for haul2hi to reorder the item which could take several weeks.It's the principle of the matter. For a company that charges nearly double the price of the original item, you'd think they'd have some integrity and offer more than $5. In case you were wondering, the $5 was returned in cash.

BEWARE of this company!!. DECEIVING!. They will give you a quick estimate to get you to purchase a product. Prior to purchase, they would respond within the hour(seemed reassuring).. after purchasing, it took then longer to respond. At time of purchase they told me my product would arrive in 2 weeks, never came. They tell YOU check back in every 2-4 weeks. "Oh sorry, new estimated time is next month. Check back in then." Fast forward 5 months later, they charge you $250 for a refund. The items never came. My relative ordered 6 of the EXACT products from Ship2Hawaii and got her order within 2 weeks. I should went with Ship2Hawaii. Don't take your chance with these people.

EDITED: Haul2HI was not pro-active with communicating updates around my order but would respond IF I initiated the request for a status update. I was told my item would be in stock soon on a couple of occasions but unfortunately an accurate ETA could not be made due to IKEA's supply. Over 5 months after my order, I am actively working with the Haul2HI team on a resolution but would like to make it clear that the experience to come to a resolution has been more traumatic than I anticipated. Noting here that the owner reached out after almost 2 months without an update to accuse me of defamation after I posted my original review of my experience with the company.Not everyone may have this experience, however, I am displeased with the overall service I received from Haul2HI. I know the team works diligently behind the scenes. I believe more transparency about the process and a personal touch with customers would have made a world of difference with this transaction. When the world resumes normal shipping times and the supply for furniture is less chaotic, I’m sure Haul2HI will be great. In the event of hiccups or a desire to have your IKEA items in a particular time frame, during these post-covid times be 100% sure you can afford the time and money to be gone.

Just really, really happy with Haul2HI! We ordered the IKEA bed and having it shipped here via H2H has been relatively easy! The pandemic made things slower and I know this for a fact because I was at IKEA in April 2021and the inventory was low, but H2H did their best to get my daughter's bed to us as soon as possible. Communication has been great stop; email response within 24 hours. Their pick up warehouse is in Waipahu and it is so easy to access and pick up big items from this site. My only beef now is that I want to order more furniture, lol! Definitely use H2H for big items - I am recommending them 110%!
