Fort Shafter Bowling Center is a military bowling alley located on base with roughly 20-24 lanes. It is considered by far one of the best bowling alleys on Oahu for price and lane maintenance, with lanes that are well oiled and in good condition. The food is amazing, fantastic, very affordable, and a good option for the whole family, served from a grill with a nice menu selection. The bar is well equipped and affordable. There is a pro shop inside where you can get all bowling supplies and custom drilled balls, noted as very helpful. Cosmic bowling nights are a blast. It is a cheap and fun, laid back place, though some staff can be rude and unhelpful. A common wish is for more open bowling hours, as leagues frequently take all the lanes. For those with base access, it is a recommended alternative to other local alleys.
