I was surprised to see they moved but thanks to Google maps I found them. The store is smaller and the aisles are kind of small but they have an amazing assortment of supplies. I am not handy at crafts but it's inspiring to look at everything. I like their raffia and also some paper bags with more of a Hawaiian print. Didn't pick up too much but I know that I'll be back.

Alden was great, patient and knowledgeable about floral products. He directed me to each aisle for the products I needed to help cut back on my wandering eye. I bought ribbons and scissors and spray paint at great prices I couldn't find anywhere on this island.

Didn't know Floradec moved from their old location on Nimitz Hwy next door to West Marine . Now their new location is on Halekuwila it used to be a Christian book store . They also took another office next door so now they have the whole downstairs of the building. Their old location is still way bigger because it was a wharehouse so they have down size a lot . My wife and I was looking and getting ideas for our family Christmas Party coming up . The funny thing is both of us are not crafty people lol . Customer service very friendly also lots of Christmas decorations out. Support local

Shopping with mom in Honolulu, Hawaii... When mom says something twice, I know it's important. Last week, she mentioned that she was running out of green twine, which she uses for the backings of Lei po'o (flower garlands placed on the head). At that time, I figured that she was just thinking aloud because - when I asked her if she wanted to get some, she replied that she was too tired to go shopping. Today, she said she needed green cord, so I asked her if she was ready to go to Flora-Dec... and she was! Flora-Dec used to be located on Nimitz Highway. I've been there with her in the past. Now, the store is located on Halekauwila Street. It's a much nicer environment - cleaner, brighter, and less cluttered... and air-conditioned! They have everything you need for floral arranging, craft ideas, art/school projects, and party decorations such as coordinating napkins, balloons, utensils, and more! There were aisles sorted by themes (examples: patriotic, Hawaiian, children's, graduation, etc.). Some items were grouped in areas: Christmas, artificial flowers, ribbons... It was an amazing, organized assortment of supplies. If I need anything, I'll come back! Note: mom found her green twine... and also some u-shaped pins for wreath making! It's not too early to get ready for Christmas!

It was my first time there and had no idea where to find the things I needed. The employees were so helpful in assisting. They happily answered the questions I had, another employee took my full handcart to the counter and carried the big box of oasis as well. When I checked out, the cashier insisted on helping me with my things to my car. Awesome customer service!

Although the "new" location in Kakaako is so much smaller than the original one, I managed to find everything I needed here. The staff are so helpful. Last visit I picked up more lei needles. They had several sizes. I even found some beautiful local printed gift bags. I hope this store is here for the long run. It is a much needed place to shop for floral supplies.

I love this place for all the crafty things you can get there. I usually go there for cake and bakery type items, but their selection in this area is dwindling. But I love exploring the different things they do have. Will definitely go back again and again.

4/2023New, more convenient location in Kakaako. It's still a one-stop shop for crafts, supplies, and decorative things. Helpful, friendly staff. Always a trusted go to. ?✌️

It feels like they have less inventory in their new location though I could be wrong. They had one weird thing that I was looking for ( the thing I really needed so definite plus!) but they also don't have lots of other items. You should definitely stop there when you need decor as they are reasonably priced on some items. They keep it warm in there. I think the old location was like that too. But they are friendly and not a chain store. They also have different items than the big stores. I just don't know how they decide which types of decor they choose not to have on hand because there could be a better selection. But overall they have always been worth a visit.

Love this place! It has always had what I've needed for party favors, decorating ideas, and crafting tools. The new store is a bit hardest to find but it's worth it.
