The staff here is always cheery and happy, along with smiling faces whether they are busy or slow. I love this place but the clothes sizes are way too small for me.

Over the years I've been a huge follower and purchased just about everything offered at FE. Clothing, blankets, towels, shower curtains, coolers .... you name it. With such a growing brand with high prices, I don't get the whole stamp card, no stamp card.. you can't merge online with in store purchased points - why is this so restricted and complicated? Then when you do get a discount that you work so hard for, it won't even cover 1/2 the tax! Here's the math Spend $500 , get a full card Tax on $500 in Hawaii is 4.5% = $22.50 Your full card will get you $10. Wow. It's called a "Loyalty Card", but why would I carry it around for nearly no reward? I have recently stopped shopping at FE. I hate to say I'm motivated by a fair perk, which clearly this isn't. Shop local yes, but let's support the local buyers too!

Just went there last Saturday! I was surprised at their selection, floor set-up of merchandise, easy to look around, friendly sales associates. I was also able to park right on the street in a metered stall which didn't cost much. Will shop there again.

Customer service here is so bad. The workers are judgey and rude. I will never purchase this brand. Based on the way they treat customers, they don't seem to mind.

My 1st time experience at your Kailua location was so amazing!!! Mia provided such personalized care and attention to help me find the style and fit I needed. What really caught my attention from the beginning was that Mia took the time and returned my call when I didn't even leave a message. It really showed me that I really mattered. I left the store feeling like I had a great new friend, too. Mahalo nui loa!!!

5/16/23 Just left the store and I agree with the recent reviews regarding poor customer service. Good customer service means having a friendly smile and making eye contact while speaking with the customer. Not talking with your back facing them. I went into this store as a 1st time customer since I admired their clothing that I saw on IG. Yes, the entrance door is kept locked so you'll need to be let in, assuming someone notices you standing at the door. I browsed around and tried on a few items but it didn't fit me just right so I told the worker it didn't work out. The workers in the store did not seem too interested in helping me find something or just being of assistance. They seem off putting and disinterested. The whole experience is enough for me not to return to this business. 2 stars for their clothing and cute totes but I do not recommend. There are other local clothing stores to try.

I think the brand and their products are very pretty, but I must say the customer service turned me off today. I placed an online order and picked up from the store (this is my first ever purchase) and the women at the register did not have a welcoming vibe. I almost felt like I was maybe bothering them with my pick up request? I don't expect conversation with store associates or anything but it just felt very awkward to be in there and just wanted to leave as soon as they gave my order. It was an off experience...regardless, still happy with my purchase.

Cute clothes and things but the customer service is horrible. I wanted to see a onesie that was in plastic, I asked if I could open it to see the size. The lady who helped me was like no. Um okay I can't just slide it out and fold it back up? So I bought it and opened it right there to make sure the size would work, and figured I could return it on the spot. It was one of the plastic bags (talk about not eco-friendly) that is folded with sticky so very easy to open and clothes. Also there was just my friend and I shopping at that time and three sales people so it wasn't like they were slammed. Maybe I'll try another location but other reviews indicate that customer service is poor at every location, sad.

I used to shop at fighting eel a lot. Like I've spent thousands of dollars at their locations over the years and even bought Ava sky when it was sold at Nordstrom years ago. Over the years, I've kind of migrated to other local designer stores like Manaola and Mahina Made. I would say I go to the Kailua location the most. I rarely find myself downtown, but today I was waiting to pick up a friend and thought I'd check out the larger selection at the downtown location since I had time to kill. I was also looking for some new dresses for an upcoming summer Europe trip. After finding steeet parking (there is no lot), it was awkward to walk up to a locked door. When I saw that it was locked, I then read the sign on the door saying it is locked during business hours and they will open it for you to come in. This seems like a fire violation. I'm pretty sure businesses shouldn't have locked doors during business hours in case of... you know, a fire. Since I was wanting to do some damage... I wanted to like touch the material and go through the racks, and I had just finished an iced tea, I asked very nicely if there was somewhere I could throw away my empty cup. Lol. The sales girl said no. They don't take food trash. Lol. Wtf. I had to ask to be allowed to be let out. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be back to this location. I'm a little concerned for my safety and I think it's just poor customer service not to have trash cans haha. Ridiculous.

Adorable array of clothing, and friendly staff. Were quick to offer me the option of having my clothing selections hung up in one of the dressing rooms. Was the first FE location I visited and, from there on out, I was hooked on FE.

I was ready to purchase few items but turned around and went spent my money somewhere else. Their staff is horrible. All 3 ladies folded clothes on the glass case where the jewelry located. I couldn't see anything in it. Didn't even bother to relocate to do their folding work. No recommendation for anything but, ''oh that's sold out'' comments only. I would never go back or recommend to anyone. I have unsubscribed from Instagram and email.

Worst return policy on this planet. Even with a receipt they won't give you a refund. I don't shop at this store and the gift was for someone that didn't want the products. But they won't give you a refund only store credit. Absolutely ridiculous. Buyer beware.

Once again another successful trip to FE downtown. Kiana suggested wonderful items that were both from previous lines as well as the newer release. I made out like a bandit !! I definitely know now that I was clearly not dressing well without being exposed to fighting eel - I love it!! Thanks to my sister in law JESS for sharing her addiction with me. We are a FE FAMILY!
