Recently got my taxes done with them. They are prompt, courteous, and honest. The e-filing was quick, convenient, and secure. I was very happy with my return and will use them again next year.

I'm sorry if I could leave zero stars I would. I just called this tax preparer to see if my fiancé and I could get our taxes done for 2022. She said the tax preparer only does it digitally nothing in person so I would have to scan documents over and she would review them do the taxes and then send them to us to sign. What a humbug!!! I'm sorry to get my taxes done. I need to at least have a face-to-face conversation with explanation on what needs to be done and what is going to be done. Too bad. So sad. (This is in response to the owner replying to my post. Sir, THEN SAY THAT!!! The articulated delivery over the phone is shit!! I don't wanna hear any excuses of why you can't explain yourself or the situation as to why you're only offering over the phone and digital services. Train the staff properly.

At the recommendation of another Yelp member, I decided to give Tax Services Oahu a try for this 2021 tax filing season and they are great! Tod & company are responsive, and in the first consultation appointment in mid-year 2021, he patiently listened and provided responses to all the questions I had. So, I decided to use them to do my taxes and they applied my initial consultation fee towards my 2021 tax filing fees. As with working with a new company, after working out an understanding of what information they needed and how it should be provided, the preparation & filing went efficiently and after that was completed, Tod offered tax planning tips for the coming year. Also he makes informative and practical recommendations for your particular situation, whatever they may be. So great job - and plan to be a repeat customer next year!

This was our first time working with Tax Services Oahu and we are completely satisfied with the services we received. Tod and his staff answered all our emails and phone calls promptly. They were friendly, professional and knowledgable. Our taxes were finished within a week of us meeting with Tod (take note, this was the first or second week of Feb. I imagine turnaround time will take longer as it gets closer to the end of tax season). We will be definitely working with them next year. Thanks again Tod and Staff!

Tod helped me file my taxes this year. I'm a new business owner who had a very successful year and I was TERRIFIED when it came to tax time. Wow! If you want a tax robot to do your taxes this is your place! Me personally I would appreciate good communication, maybe with at least some Aloha and any kind of cordial personal relationship with the decision maker at the company. If you can get by Todd's 5 front line office help you might be able to set up an appointment a month away to just speak to Todd. Sure he's a brilliant guy and a very likeable person but he has NO grasp of kama'aina Aloha or genuine caring customer service. He has too many clients and not enough time and in the end doesn't care about you; you're just a number. He is a great tax guy, but don't expect a friend or ANY special courtesy other than what a tax robot from Pluto would provide. This guy has his undies in a bundle and his stiff, front-line staffers well trained in phone tactics...but don't worry he wears a mask and surfs! Take a number and answer correctly over here or NO Service for you!!! I'm looking for a tax person I can really communicate with and have taken my business elsewhere. Actually, he kicked me out of his elite tax club for insubordination, (generally a punishable offense in hierarchical organizations such as the armed forces, which depend on people lower in the chain of command obeying orders). Just wait a couple years with the TSO or until you really want to talk with Todd. Don't let the Wylan Whale fool you - get strong current over here and the water is full of no Aloha tax sharks on this cash reef. Mahalo & ALOHA Tax Service Oahu!

Tod and his team are absolutely amazing and will do all they can to make you feel welcomed and secure with your tax filing! As a person who works full-time for a company and does small freelance gigs here and there, it's been such a big load off my shoulders to get the help and support with filing my taxes from them. They will literally walk you through all the necessary steps to file your taxes properly. I've been going to them for the past 5 years and don't think I'll ever want to go elsewhere. U.S. expat taxes are a pain. Unless you go with these guys. Online Tax Professionals (Tax Services Oahu) have always been thorough, professional, responsive, and personal. They answer my questions transparently and thoughtfully, follow up where I’ve forgotten something, and make it easy to submit and sign docs. As a new client, I called for an appointment and was given upfront pricing for my multiple returns. Went to website to upload general info papers to bring in with my other tax info. Park in that whale painted building. Ladies give you a ticket that Tod will validate. Great email communication. Overall, smart and thorough work on my returns. Also, a great price. Wish I met him sooner!
