Closed. It was very confusing. I called a few days earlier, and they Saud they were open, but on the day of our visit they were closed. Website is confusing.

I purchased a box at the airport for a special reminder of the trip to Hawaii and found the product to be out of date. I contacted the company and they were so very kind and promptly replaced the item. WOW is this amazing and beyond my expectations. This is a wonderful company and so so good!

Thank you Kaitlyn for helping make this Christmas special for me. One of the most memorable memories for me and my sister was getting that special box of Ed and Don’s Chocolate covered Macadamia Nuts my grandmother sent to the family every year. Later when my sister and I got a chance to go to Oahu for vacation we always made a trip to Ed and Don’s to carry home boxes of the Chocolate Covered Macadamia Nuts. It has been a very long time since our visits to the islands so the next best thing was to bring them to us. My sister was very surprised and very thrilled with this walk down memory lane. Thank you Kaitlyn for your constant personal support in making sure I received my shipment, that everything was correct in the order, and making this Christmas in Arkansas special. Merry Christmas.

I worked at Ed and Don's manufacturing plant, while Ed, Don and Mrs Maier were there. I worked as a secretary for Harry Siegmund, their accountant. Berta Decoite was also working in the front office. Going thru the dipping rooms, and cooking room where the brittles were made was very interesting and very tasty. That job I had cherished and sadly to say had to leave the island to go to the mainland. I worked there 1969-1971. Their candy is of the best quality. Wish you could purchase in WA!

Picked up a can of the Mac nut brittle, and delicious! Very creamy and crunchy. The can is vacuumed sealed too, to ensure freshness. Found at my Maui Target. Thanks for a tasty treat!

This is a great place to visit. Because, it is a factory outlet there are always samples to tempt you into indulging in this amazing candy.

In my recent experience, Ed and Don's absolutely stands by their product. I bought several cans of macadamia nut brittle while on vacation in Kauai. When I got home and opened the cans, they had gone bad, as nuts do when older or not stored properly. I contacted Ed and Don's to let them know. The General Manager emailed and called me less than 48 hours later to arrange to send replacements. The fresher brittle was DELICIOUS and everyone who tried it agreed: the tropical and pineapple flavors are the best!!

Customer service great as I went there to sample and buy a mother's day gift. Got some delicious milk chocolate covered macadamia nuts to try and bought the dark chocolate as my gift. Recommend their products.

About a month ago had to go in for a purchase adjustment for candies purchased from a retailer. Emma arranged an appointment for us & met us in the showroom area. She graciously took care of the adjustment and described the other products on display there. We left there with a greater appreciation for Ed and Don's products which are sold locally and internationally. Emma was customer service personified. Thanks for all your assistance. You are a credit to your company and it's many fine products.

Limited items for sale. I remember Ed &Don's from small kid time, even the retail store they used to have at Ala Moana! Used to be my favorite candy store many years ago. Now located near Target, in the industrial area behind, this place looks more like a factory only set up with a very small lobby area with some items for sale. I'm not even sure if they retail stuff in Hawaii anymore, as I haven't seen their stuff in any of my favorite stores. Had to buy a box of chocolate covered macadamia nuts from there, since it's been forever that I've enjoyed their nuts...(heh, heh, wordplay) in my mouth! Was just okay, especially since you can buy the other name brand chocolate nuts, I mean chocolate covered macadamia nuts, cheaper and they taste about the same. I was heartbroken when i was told they no longer make my favorite chocolate covered marshmallows that I used to buy every week from them, with my allowance. All in all, good memories but disappointed they didn't have more. Check them out anyway, as their legacy deserves it!

How is it that one of the oldest chocolate candy companies in Hawaii has no reviews yet?!? Ed & Don's has been around since the 1960's! Ask mom and dad! They've snacked on their brittles! Back in the day there were parlors here and there, and now you can find Ed & Don's all over from Island Vintage Coffee to Target. This address is their corporate HQ and factory where they make their handcrafted chocolates! Yup, these babies are NOT mass-produced. They have a store at the bottom left of their Salt Lake location. I have tried the dark chocolate covered macadamia nuts. They are sooooo good! It's a whole chubby mac nut with a generous, thick covering of smooth-tasting dark chocolate. So why don't you grab Ed & Don's instead of reaching for Hawaiian Host or Mauna Loa next time you need gifts for your friends around the world? Ed & Don's is a step above the rest and their chocolates sure taste better! And you can't find Ed & Don's all over the world. I've seen Hawaiian Host sold in the airports and Costcos in Japan and Thailand. They also have chocolates in fun shapes like dolphins and whale tails!
