Love this location! Came for my mom’s birthday and Jen was very accommodating. We were early with our appt and was assisted right away. The staff were all polite and helpful. Lastly, Jamie did amazing job with my hair. Highly recommend!

Absolutely terrible experience. The woman drying my hair had no idea what she was doing. I have shoulder length hair, nothing crazy. After 90 minutes it was still damp and frizzy, and it wasn’t frizzy when I went in. She didn’t rough dry it, just went and tried to blow dry soaking wet hair with a round brush. The woman in charge said “oh she’s new, she not familiar with our products and tools” and then it was “Well she’s still in training and everyone has to start somewhere”. Seriously, save your money, your patience and your hair follicles and go somewhere else.

I've been to the other DryBars on the island and my experience here was by far the best. Jordan did a perfectly amazing job washing and curling my hair exactly how I asked her to do it - with a straightener. She understood what I meant when I wanted the ends straight but the mid sections to be pressed and wavy. She was also very personable and kind, definitely recommend going to her if you have long hair!!

Curl today...gone tomorrow! That's the life of my forever straight hair...I stand corrected by John H K how we all have various types of hair though I absolutely embrace mine! With work my hair has to be all tied up and tucked in by the end of the day it's just a hot mess. I was confused of what Drybar concept was at first...dry styling!?! As I do love going and experiencing bougie things I've never really done so myself and here with a quick appointment online you're able so select your location, date, time and type of service so easily I do love their services because I'm usually able to time it to whatever event I have pretty easily. This was my first time to this location and chose it because I did have an event just a few block down and the first hour of parking at SALT is free without any validation. As this isn't my first time having my hair styled at Drybar I'm familiar with what I wanted though being at this location for the first time I was surprised I wasn't given the style book only was asked what I wanted. I pretty much wanted a tight curly hair as my straight has zero volume my stylist went straight to work. He curled and kept it tight by using clips which was different so I was excited especially once he undid it all at it was tightly curled woohoo!! He then brushed it all out and added the load of product...sprayed...sprayed and SPRAYED OMG! by the middle of the night all that product weighed my hair down and it was all gone *sob*! I've had my hair done countless times and it held for days so I know it's possible but this guy just seemed so unsure from the start and not very sociable as when I was done there was barely a thank you and moved on to the next client, staff here is friendly but not very interactive so robotic. I do still love Drybar I just know now who to have it done by...just not here. Thank you!

I love going to the DryBar for a quick pick me up but the last two appointments I had I've received calls asking me to move my appointment up or move it later. In June I had booked a blowout on my birthday. I booked it quite in advance also. I had a makeup appointment before and dinner right after. The receptionist called me and asked me if I could come in earlier. I couldn't because I already had another appointment. She said, "oh it says your hair is long and it'll take an hour and a half or longer and we close at that time so you need to come in earlier or cancel." I'm like what are you talking about, I come there all the time and a blowout should not take longer than an hour. Also, who said my hair was long? Like what? I said my hair isn't that long and a dry style takes 25 mins, so a blow out should be an hour. She said sorry ya it says you're gonna take an hour and a half. I'm like Idc what it says or why it even says that but I booked the appointment on YOUR website and I'm telling you my hair isn't going to take that long. She argued with me telling me about MY hair. She ended up just letting me keep my time (smh ridiculous). Oh and guess what, it took an hour like I said it would!! Next appointment was for next week. I book my appointments around things I need to get to so changing my appointment is really an inconvenience. I get a call this morning and the receptionist asks if I can come in at 5 instead of 430. No I cannot, that's why I booked my appointment at 430. She said oh ok well the girl right before you will take a little longer so you might be waiting a little bit until 4:45ish. I'm like wth???? Don't allow bookings if you can't honor the appointment times, it's ridiculous. I ended up having to cancel because I need to be somewhere and 4:45 or 5 won't get me there in time. So yes, great type of business- but HORRIBLE booking timelines and ridiculous reasons for moving MY appointments smh!

I really like this location. Stylists are consistently good. Only problem today is their internet is out!

I should have checked Yelp first, but I had some time to kill and just got my lashes done so wanted to get my hair washed and a scalp massage. Arrived at 0845 hours thinking they opened at 0900. When I checked online it said Sundays open at 0900 and when I arrived at the shop their sign indicated they also opened at 0900. So I waited. It's now 0920 hours and nobody is here . Finally decided to check Yelp and saw the hours are not consistent to their front door sign and online. Yelp indicated 1000 hours opening for Sundays. I was really excited to come to get a scalp massage and wanted to come early since I was just a walk in. They really should make their hours of operation consistent on all platforms .

This place was ok. The atmosphere was nice. The area was clean and inviting. It's not a haircut place. Only styling. I didn't like how much I paid for a style that I didn't really like and they don't take cash. That was frustrating. The drinks were good and strong!

My mom went in to get braids because she has a broken arm and can't really do her hair everyday. They talked her into like 8 small braids instead of just one or two big ones. Her hair looked good that day, but after that it was done. Expensive for a one day thing when she didn't even get what she needed.

I was having high hope about this place... since it's like a professional blowout and updo place. I accidentally hurt my finger and having hard time to wash my hair. So I decide to give it a try and thinking. If I like it, maybe I can make it a once a month thing to treat myself. A little bit background. I use to work at the hair salon as assistant so I was train how to wash hair and blow dry for customer too. And I have highly bleached hair so upon making the appointment, I already remind them I want to request someone with experience because my hair is not easy to wash and blow dry. First walk in and I drop my stuff to my seat and immediately follow the girl to the shampoo station. I assume they know what's going on since I'm the only customer at the time. Nope. I sat down at the shampoo station and half of the time. She didn't even bother to wait and test the water before using it so I was having a cold water shampoo experience. Works better than coffee because I'm hella awake the whole time. And not to mention she didn't rinse enough so she can't bobble enough to do a proper wash (because there is still oil/dust in my scalp. And look, i did wash my hair like 2 days ago). .. whatever. I already can tell it's gonna be a bad experience. The massage is not good either. Thank god I bought my own conditioner because the shampoo they use feels like dish soap... And I seriously doubt it if she rinse it enough... The blow dry was fine. I didn't need anything special because I just can't wash my own hair with my bloody finger. I can tell she had hard time to dry my hair because I had really dark toner on, so the hair looks like normal hair but omg. If you bleach your hair 4+times and you dry your hair. You know what I mean. This is NOT the way to dry bleach hair. And please do not force to curl it while drying because the end still wet... anyways. At least my hair is washed I guess... I left the tip and walk out of the door. End up the same night I already feel itchy on my scalp and next day I see dandruff all over .... So my word to you. Go to a normal hair salon to do a blowout. They usually style for you too. And they charge cheaper. If I'm paying $55 for a blowout, I will expect at least the stylist is trained and know how to properly wash customers hair. I end up went to my hairstylist to get a scalp treatment and blowout two days later. And it's only $75. My scalp feels great and my hair was taking care professionally. Very disappointed at this place. Will not recommend to anyone.

I am so pleased with my blowout and love how everyone is so friendly. I even ended up leaving with a membership. Had one before in a different state and just needed to get back to it. Great service and they are very consistent.
