We needed same day help as our cats face was swelling on one side. Surf Paws gave us a same day appointment. They were so kind & asked us a lot of questions to determine what might have happened & they were spot on with a potential scuffle with another cat who keeps coming in our yard. They did a procedure to ease her discomfort & we left with antibiotics not in banana liquid form but in a little crushable tablet! Yes the banana medicine is a nightmare with cats lol. The bill was graciously less than we'd expected. Our cat is on the mend. Thanks Surf Paws! I'll be signing up my other two pets with you. They'll be in great hands.

We've been going to Surf Paws for a year as we have an aging cat. All was great until today. I get to the office early and sit. A lady was there with a dog she was holding, and she did the whole "my dog loves cats" routine and then placed her dog on the table, looking directly at my scared cat. I got up and moved, and she went into a "Karen" tirade, using the F word and screaming loudly for all to hear. NO ONE IN THE OFFICE DID OR SAID ANYTHING. I sat with my eyes closed until she finally stopped. About 3-4 minutes. I brought my cat today because he is old and dying. My concerns about my cat were ignored as the vet pushed pain meds on me that I knew my cat wouldn't take. I am the one who has lived with him for 17 years. Not her. Yet she pushed and pushed, so I paid for the stupid meds. Then the tech, who was in the office the whole time and heard me repeatedly say that the cat does not do oral meds, told me to put it in his mouth like so. Bloody moron. This vet wants me to prolong a life of a cat who will be in pain just from me forcing meds on him. No empathy at this office at all. We will NEVER go back.

The most "ethical" and honestly priced veterinarian clinic you can go to is here! My fur baby is a 5lb Pomeranian and I have been so happy with the staff and Drs at this vet practice! We saw Dr. Cristina and Dr. Kingsley, both incredibly knowledgable and caring. You can clearly see that ALL these folks are in it for the dogs and their owners. Really impressed, and I'm hard to impress. Thanks for taking care of us and our fur babies! :)

I started bringing my 4 animals here after hearing someone rave about Dr. M! She is great and so far the staff here have been nothing but kind and helpful. I was taking my animals to VCA Gentle Vets and what a nightmare that was. If you're looking for a great vet for your furry friend, Surf Paws has a great team!

Unfortunately they Misdiagnosed our cat, who turned out to be fatally I'll. The bloodwork we later learned was obvious, there was no reason for the wrong diagnosis. Provided no real explanation of the diagnosis, no follow up care, was closed on random days of the week so we were unable to contact the dr for questions or records. For the health of your animal do not come here.

Love surf paws animal hospital. Dr. Kingery is the vet we see and she's taken such love and care for our animals and this place doesn't break the bank like other vet places.

New vet for my dog because one of my dogs passed recently and we needed a new start. Going to the other vet gives me sad memories of my pup that has gone on to doggy heaven. Very pleased with my dog's first visit. Very nice staff and doctor. We've found a new vet for our senior dog.

I recently made an appointment with Surf Paws to have a veterinarian look at my dog's ear that was bothering him. As usual, when something happens to our furry loved ones, we want a vet to take a look at them THAT DAY. Of course it's ridiculous to expect (unless you're at a location that encourages walk-in appointments), but thanks to the helpfulness and kindness of the woman who handles appointments, I was able to get him in the very next day, first thing in the morning. Upon entry, the office was very clean and well-maintained. Staff all greeted us with warm smiles. The exam room is very nice, with huge glass windows looking out to the well-maintained building and its landscape. Dr. Miliaresis entered shortly after to take a look at him. She has a very calm and pleasant demeanor which I feel is so important to make our furry babies feel at ease. After his exam and figuring out what the issue was, Dr. Miliaresis was very good at explaining what needed to be done in terms of treating the yeast infection he had developed in his ear. All the medications I needed were available right at their location which made it so convenient for me. Thank you, Surf Paws, for such a positive experience! We will definitely be calling on you again in the future.

The staff at Surf Paws are always polite and everyone acts like they are in a medical setting and not a retail store where the people coming in are just customers. I called last night about something I saw in my dogs p*** and at 8am the next day (when they opened) I got a call telling me to bring down a sample. Brought it in at 8:45am, and in 20 minutes I had the deworming pills. Thanks to the staff and Dr. Kingery for treating us like clients/patients and not like "customers"!

Absolutely fantastic job. The front desk staff checked me out before my dog came in the room so we could just go. I love it. My dog got her Teeth cleaned, ears cleaned, nails done, and a wart on her toe looked at. They removed the plastic bandage from her arm before picking her up. In my opinion this is a classic job. Because trying to takeoff a plastic Band-Aid off of a dog who just had surgery is painful. I love my Chihuahua and all of her nuances. Thank you for doing a wonderful job I checked her teeth, ears and nails. I am incredibly happy.

Just read a long winded review from an obviously irresponsible parent. Keith T. He obviously is not watching his toddler and chooses to torture the cat instead.. Any animal when provoked will protect itself. Isn't declawing a cat involve amputating not just a claw but up to the first knuckle of their paws? If that isn't cruel what is?. Anyway. I have found Surf paws to be the most professional and caring vet I have ever been to. Emi in particular has always been Extremely helpful.

I had gone to this vet for a few years. Routine visits were OK, but if I had ever skipped one then they were sure to point it out. It made me very uncomfortable. After the most recent experience though I will never return. I called to inquire about de-clawing my cat. I had explained that he slashed my 1-year old toddlers face for the countless time and that my baby was bleeding from his eye. I had exhausted all other means of prevention and felt that this was the best thing to do. I received a emotionally charged lecture about how inhumane it was to de-claw my cat. I felt this was unprofessional and insensitive to the situation that I was in. They went so far as to say that it was illegal to perform the procedure. This is false, and when I called them out they said "well it is in LA county." Last I checked we live in Hawaii... I don't have a problem with their policy. But to make me feel guilty as a pet owner for protecting my child's precious eye sight? To give me false information to try and support their philosophy? A lack of customer service, professionalism, and integrity are why I will never go back.

Surf Paws is a great place to go if you have a Rabbit. I have tried multiple vets on Oahu and Surf Paws seems to be the only ones who offer professional accurate advice. Not only that, but they showed me they really cared about my concerns for my animal and took what I said into consideration. The staff is very friendly. This will be my go to vet for my rabbit in the future. Thanks to them I was able to figure out why my rabbit was sick when no other veterinary was able to. Also a plus is that their prices are relatively cheaper than other places. Only $70 for the exam fee! Thank you to Surf Paws for helping me with my rabbit problems.

Surf Paws is great! My dog had a sudden onset of a fairly common and minor but highly irritating condition. Surf Dogs was the only vet's office in my area able to get her in same day and with minimal fuss, then quickly and professionally handled the situation. Wonderful staff, easily accessible location- I wholeheartedly recommend!
