Everything feels modern, clean, and fresh. Everything has a modern touch of brightness and contemporary design, which is also minimalistic. The Hawaiian theme really set this hotel above grounds, especially their on theme Starbucks. Lovely hotel, amazing atmosphere, rooms are the highlight.

Comfortable. Across a busy street from the beach. In the heart of activities. Most tours pick up/drop off at hotel. Sadly, don't go to the luau/buffet. Lots of flavorless food. Although the dancers & singers were professional. On weekend nights the outside disco next door was annoyingly loud. Weekday evenings were quiet. Great continental breakfast!

I paid a little extra to stay in this hotel based on suggestions on Costco travel as well, as some great reviews. The hotel has a great location, it’s Marriott which I thought meant you can not go wrong! I had an ok visit up until Friday night, we got new neighbors and they kept us up until 5 am. I called front desk, at around 2:30 they called security. Security came up once called me said they couldn’t find the noise. I called again bc it was 3:30 am, security came up again told me they had told the guest. Guest apologized said they had a small fight and said they’d be quiet! This was 4 am then! The next day Saturday it was a repeat! Our bathroom reeks of urine! Housekeeping seems to have come and cleaned but all toilet have bidets and the deat on ours is broken! I called front desk they asked if we wanted a new room, but we were out for the day! The toilet seat is broken, why not replaced it? It’s literally cracked! Will be taken photos to update review. Front desk transferred me to Jeff the on duty manager, he blankly asked me; I was told they offered you to move rooms and you declined, I’m confused what you want me to do?” With a tone of condescending and “dumb b” I said oh ok! I understand, 1) we were out for the day, 2) I’m only here for literally one more night! So my own fault I supposed.
Walkability: Not what I expected!

I never want to book a Marriott hotel again. This hotel left a stain on an enjoyable trip with family.
1. The room key did not work on the day of check-in, so it took an hour to fix it (I stood outside the room for an hour with elementary school children who were exhausted from playing in the water all day).
2. The next afternoon, I went into the parking lot after activities, but the room key didn't work, so I couldn't park. (I was covered in dust from various activities at Kualoa Ranch, so I was very exhausted.) This happened again, and I was upset, so I went to the desk and said something (Yako, a Japanese employee?), but without saying sorry, I looked up and down and just changed the key. zoom .
3. I called the manager and complained, and he said he would take action and let me know before I checked out, but I did not receive any communication until I checked out.
The Marriott Hotel remains an unforgettable memory during a pleasant trip to Hawaii.
No matter which country I go to, I will never book a Marriott hotel.
Noteworthy details: Especially the unfriendliness of the Japanese employee named Yuko.

It was a great place for us for the beach rather than shopping. Since the beach is located in front, it was really nice to enjoy swimming during the day, have dinner, and relax while looking at the beach from the hotel. The view is really pretty! There were Korean staff, so it was easy to use!

I stayed in room 2114. You could see the entire Diamond Head from the balcony. It was also great to see Waikiki Beach.

I am so happy that we chose to stay at this property. Everything from check in to check out was perfect. Janeen at the front desk was amazing and just made us feel so welcome and helped us so much. I miss her! Our view was breathtaking and the room was beautiful. Our room was cleaned everyday by the most amazing housekeeping team ever. I would absolutely stay here again. If you are thinking of booking this property, just do it!

First of all, this Marriott is by far the best property I've stayed at. We loved every minute of our stay. From the minute we stepped out of our car to the last goodbye at our departure.
We stayed in the south tower, and the rooms were immaculate. Super clean, super comfortable, and loved the ocean view.
Loved the pool. Great service staff, great food, and great drinks. I loved the fish and chips!
Breakfast buffet always got us going each day. The food was fresh, coffee was hot, and the service was spectacular.
Loved the self-serve laundry, live music in the lobby each evening, onsite rental car, onsite e-bike rentals, and all the staff who all made sure our stay was outstanding.
My favorite part of our stay was sitting on our balcony and watching the sun set each night.
One thing we regretted was not taking advantage of everything that's included with the resort fee.
If you're going to honolulu, this is the ONLY hotel you should consider staying at.

What are they doing at the front desk?! Check-in takes so long. They waste so much time on unnecessary conversations that it takes 15 minutes to check in one person. No one will stay here if this happens. The two of them continued talking for over 30 minutes, causing a long line at the front desk. The room was nice and spacious. The Japanese staff's attentive service was good. As everyone says, there are no amenities. Just call 45 and add it and everything will be resolved.

I used it with my children aged 0 and 4.
The rooms are spacious and clean, and the pool is separated into adults and children, and the atmosphere is great.
Above all, I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. Keiko at the Japanese language desk for his great help. When my child was injured and I was having trouble finding a hospital, Keiko responded more quickly than the insurance company operator.
I was very happy to be able to ask questions about the hotel in Japanese at any time.
The downside was that the crib mattress was flimsy. It was only about one-fifth of the thickness of mattresses sold in Japan, and it was flimsy, and the bed itself was a simple one made of plastic, so my child woke up many times and was sleep deprived every day.
It's a little far from the center of Waikiki, so it's not recommended for people who mainly want to go to Waikiki Beach.

I did not stay here on my visit, but I was scouting out future spots. The location is perfect. It’s got a great vibe and so much to see and do all around.
Steps away from the beach

Perfect hotel for a dream holiday. Large rooms, clean and equipped with all comforts. The location, practically on the main beach of Waikiki, offers spectacular views from the balconies. We will definitely be back!

The location is great. This room is a Kealohilani ocean view room. Drinking beer on the balcony overlooking the sea is the best. The room is a very simple room. The size is also a little small. There are very few amenities, so if you are used to Japanese hotels, you will be surprised! ? I think so.
It was strange that the number of towels in the guest room varied depending on the day.
