Fast, polite, miracle service. Seen by a Brandon Quintoh who worked wonders with a needle, absolute angel service. Ask for him by name!!

This DLS location is located in POB 2 and another great location to get labs done if you work in the area or have a Doctor's appointment. Tbh, I don't know why this location has such low ratings. Something to remember...YOUR doctor is responsible to send the request and if your doctor gives YOU your papers to take to DLS, that's YOUR responsibility, not DLS. DLS is just helping you and your doctor out and are not responsible for knowing what you need done. Perhaps in a perfect world they would but...Bumbai? I forget what floor they're on, but you can look them up in the directory. Also, I don't think they open as early as the POB 3 location. I've also gone to this location a handful of times for lab work to be done. As you can tell from my other reviews..yeah kind of getting a bunch of labs done recently. Each time I've gone, service was really quick. I never had to wait long before I was in a chair and getting blood drawn. My personal tip, let the nurse choose what arm to draw blood. That way they choose the one that's easier for them...and also, that means less chances for missing a vein. Unlike the POB 3 location, I've never seen this location get busy..but I've never really stayed long. The turn around is pretty fast. Parking is available in the building. The parking seems better than POB 3..it's a lot more floors and seems more open. The staff is friendly and nice and I've never had an issue with them. I'd be sure to continue coming if I'm in the building or in the area.

I went to DLS to have blood drawn, fully masked N95 and wearing safety glasses. When drawing blood, needle in my vein, the health worker tells me that she just got her vaccine shot yesterday! What kind of idiot is this health worker? She was so close to me while drawing blood, yet her vaccination still had at least 3 weeks to become effective! What kind of idiot health organization is DLS to allow their workers to come in close contact with unsuspecting public without an effective vaccination?

In short, I came here because it’s right above my doctor’s office. Two phlebotomists and 3 pokes later, still no blood. I asked to go to another location because I was beyond annoyed. Don’t come to this lab, unless you want to poked and prodded over and over and still not have blood drawn. Ridiculous.

Same solid service for bloodwork. Saturday morning 730 came in and out before 8am. Free parking now too as long as less than an hour which is nice

Quick but not very personable. Attendants seemed distant and a bit put off that I was there to receive services. Tech who helped me was gentle and as painless as a blood draw can be but lacked emotion and seemed to busy to be bothered. I would still recommend them to others with the caution that they seem uninterested in your business.

I had an appointment with my doctor but forgot that I was supposed to take a blood test prior to the appointment. Not to worry as DLS has a location in the Queens POB 4. While I was waiting for my doctors appointment, I ran upstairs to DLS and the service was fast friendly and they got me out the door within 15 minutes.

I took a sample in requested by my doctor but didn't have the paper work...has to go back home to get it, brought back the incorrect paperwork even though it showed which labs the doctor requested, so I stated I didn't have the paperwork and the lady at the counter said she would call the doctors office to get the paperwork WTH didn't she do that to begin with rather than make me go all the way back home Horrible customer service

Appreciate the handicapped parking on each floor. However hard to find one. Only 1 for compact car size and 1 for regular vehicle. Challenging for a medical center plaza.

I paid a visit to Diagnostic Laboratory Services today to get my blood work done. It's right upstairs from my OBGYN's office on the 5th floor of Queen's POB II. When you walk in there's a waiting area and you take a number from the front where they'll also collect your ID and insurance card. We were in a bit of a rush and thankfully there wasn't a long wait. The ladies working there don't seem the most happy, but thankfully the woman who drew my blood did a really great job and I barely felt a thing when she took the six vials of blood for all my tests. I know I'll be back here again in the future and I really hope I get the same lady! She's honestly the best technician I've ever had.

HORRIBLE tech. I was never afraid of being poke by needle because it is not suppose to be painful. I got my blood draw quite often before and it was all easy. This lab made me fear of being poke!! They are really bad at their job. I am pregnant so I need to come here often, one time I came here the tech did it incorrectly so he had to poke me again, That was so painful and I had bruise. Second time I came here the female tech was RUSHING and she did it in a very HARD way, she also used a very thick needle too to draw one tube of blood! Never had I ever experienced pain after the blood start drawing, she was the first one gave me this bad experience, of course my arm had bruise again and it was really painful this time. I am scared to draw blood again and I need to avoid this place if I can.
