I usually go to other Longs in Kakaako/Downtown, but happened to be passing this one on my way home. Very rude and unhelpful staff at this location. I'll be avoiding this one in the future.

Very impolite female that spoke to me on the phone about paying my spouses deductible!!! We received no bill? And she didn’t explain how we need to make this deductible payment?

I am so angry that I could yell. I was just at Longs this morning to pick up my meds. One of the meds had a co pay of $29.00 so I asked the tech to double check it. I know that the copay is wrong cause this happens every time i pick up this med. He comes back and insisted that it was correct. I asked him to check my previous pick up and it should be $10.00. He came back and said that it was submitted wrong, and he would try to fix it. I asked to see a manager. This is where it goes downhill. I expressed my frustration and requested that she annotate the records to reflect the correct procedures so that i don't go through this exercise again. Her attitude was yeah yeah ok. I am 69 years old and I'm wondering how many elderly costumers does CVS scam on their meds because they submitted it wrong. For us old folks $29.90 is a big difference from $10.00. Please train your staff and manager better.

This Longs is great! The pharmacy is so helpful and efficient and it's not super crowded. I can always find what I want and when I buy snacks that are locked, help is always nearby.

Very sweet and nice pharmacist there. Unfortunately i didn't get her name but she helped me with a problem I had that was a bit embarrassing.

Went into this CVS/Longs to get a few things. 1 item in particular was a wrist brace. I noticed the better brand of braces/wraps were locked up. So I went to the pharmacy to ask if someone could open up that rack so I could purchase one. He was very nice and called over the intercom for customer service in isle 17...For 10 minutes, no one. He called again. I waited again and no one. So I purchased a different brand that was not locked up and headed to the register WHERE A FEW WORKERS were talking story! Are you kidding me? I get it maybe "that wasn't your section " but absolutely no one even checked. This CVS went to crap real fast. Lousy service, homeless couple outside under their tent and the smell and garbage all over the parking lot. It was a great Longs when it first opened.

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE! I REPEAT ! DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE! I would actually like to put no stars for the rating of the store. The Manager a Mr. Shay of has NO, I REPEAT, NO empathy for the safety of the customers that come to this store. Shop at any other Longs CVS except this one.

I haven't been to this longs in awhile and I just got reminded why I don't come here, even though it's the closest to where I live. They now have a self check out which I thought great, now I can avoid the long lines (only two registers were open with lines) but the worker Kristie managing the self check out decides to be "helpful" and scan every item for me which took longer for me to check out because her little phone device was lagging and when I said I can scan the items myself, it goes by faster on the register but she refused! If you don't trust people to use self check out then don't have it, if she wanted to be helpful she should've just hopped on the register and took done the line. Would've been faster than her using that device!

Wow!!! always helpful and convenientWhen was the last time a grocery store or any store made a substitution for a product they were out of instead of just giving you a rain check????They did that for me also extremely helpful in helping me out I'm disabled and have to walk on crutches and they were so helpful!!!I cannot say enough about how great this Long's is!!!!

Love coming to this Longs! I usually come here when I'm in town because it is close to work. Stopped in for some greeting cards which have risen in prices. I love that the CVS app had a $5 off coupon if I bought $20 worth of cards which turned out because I need quite a few. The employees here are very friendly and even know me by name because I go there so often. They are always helpful and very welcoming. They are usually stocked with items and have great sales especially when it's end of the season. The prices are affordable and when they have value book, it's even better although they do have a sale every Sunday. I was happy that I found what I needed and was able to get in and out quickly.

This is an updated review of this Longs location specifically for the pharmacy. Things have changed a lot since I did my last review one year ago. I'm not sure if they're shortstaffed, as when I was here last year I had great service from the pharmacy, Unfortunately this is no longer the case. Since my father no longer drives, I typically have to pick up all his medications for him. He asked that I picked them up at this Longs Drugs. The first time dropping off a prescription I was told it would take an hour to fill it. I didn't want to have to come back, so I just shopped around in Longs until the prescription was ready. The second time I needed to pick up prescriptions I dropped off the prescription, ran some other errands then came back to pick it up. This time, they could not find the medication. They could see it was in the system and that it was ready, but the pharmacy tech could not find it. He looked all over in multiple bins more than one time. Then he looked in the computer again, then asked somebody for help, and then eventually found it in the original bin while I waited at the cash register for 15 minutes. I'm not sure why they're so disorganized that they can't find patients prescriptions! The third time I came to pick up my dad's medication, his physician actually called it in at 8:30 AM. At 3 PM I went to go pick it up and lo and behold it wasn't even ready. I informed them that it was called in at 8:30 AM 6 1/2 hours ago, but apparently they didn't even work on the prescription. I had to wait another 15 minutes for them to fill it. Overall very in efficient customer service. I thought for sure if the prescription was called in and I waited multiple hours that it would be ready but it wasn't. The only place that has worse service at the pharmacy is the Longs Manoa.

Went to purchase some sale items today and also grabbed a couple of items clearly marked down with the price on it. Went to self check out in a rush because I had to go to the restroom badly and they won't let you use theirs! Anyway, didn't notice the marked down items wrang up at regular price until after I got home. Overcharged me $9.00. So now I have to drive back there. I tell the clerk who greeted me as I walked in, the first register just closed so she tells me go in line at the only other register open with a clerk. As I am waiting, they open up the first one again for customers AFTER me and a couple others behind me!!! Screw us already waiting in line. When I tell the cashier I was overcharged and show her the items, she tells someone else, whom seems to be a Manager,.... neither one offer any apologies, terrible customer service! If you shop there and don't want to get overcharged, take notice of prices that ring up at the register or check the receipt before you leave the store.
