This location is always busy with so many people and the lines for the pharmacy may or may not be long. The long time staff here are helpful and friendly. They seem to really care about the store which is a plus. The sales are good and even better with a coupon. The prices are pretty outrageous without the coupon. I really like how longs still caters to the locals with our favorite snacks, supplies and foods. It's nice to see the shelves lined with kaki mochi, lihing powder, haupia mix, ramen and shrimp chips for snacking. I really like how the do it yourself aisle includes Asian fix it items like small drainers, clothes pins, musubi molds. Longs is very unique to the island in the products they sale. The pharmacy lines are painful and it's not the fault of the employees. Omg..the customers picking up medicine asks the most inane questions taking up the counter time while the lines build. The technicians are patient. I do think they need to staff pharmacy better. Definitely will return here again and again!

The employees there are always so nice. They are always so helpful in helping me find things in the store and when I check out they always ask me if I want to use the coupons that I have. Always a pleasant to- do to have to go to Longs.

this is to be my go to pharmacy for the last 20 years, but I haven't seen the last year has really gone downhill. Avoid it whenever possible because of the long lines, the lack of stock and just about everything that I want is locked up. If you can't find anyone with a key to unlock it with her tonight for emergency situation to buy some water and some medicine for a sick person, nearly took a half hour of waiting in line, only two registers are opened, the lady in front of me canceled her order the cashier called for a manager to void the transaction no manager to be found. We waited another 20 minutes, this is not the first time there's a long line or delays, will definitely be the last time I go there.

I would give zero stars if I could. As a senior citizen (66 years old) with health challenges, I was hoping to get the CVS Brand of Brain Health (comparable to Neuriva). I arrived there shortly after 8:30 pm and went to the aisle that had the product I wanted. Of course, it was understandably locked up, so I pressed the customer service button. Five minutes later no one arrived. Ten minutes and still no one, so I pressed the customer service button again. I was getting a bit frustrated so I called Longs Kahala on the phone. I had to go through several prompts to supposedly get to customer service and I get disconnected. I pushed the customer service button one more time and waited a few more minutes. I decided I had enough and I was walking out, I told the cashier at station 1 what transpired. I told her it wasn't her fault, but this was poor customer service and I'm not going back there.

Called to ask a simple question. It seemed like someone kept hanging up (I called a few times). It never ceases to amaze me how incompetent and unprofessional people/businesses can be.

Waited for over an hour to find out they didn't have my prescription in stock after getting told twice that they would call when it was ready. It took me asking a third time to find out they didn't have it and would have had to wait even longer if I didn't ask. It wasn't even busy, they just weren't paying attention.

They are so rude at the pharmacy! Being busy isn’t an excuse for being rude. I have an infant and hate that this is the closest pharmacy to walk to. I’ve never left a bad review for anything, but I always have a terrible experience here.

CVS/Longs Drugs has a good selection but prices can be all over the place, so make sure to check for product pricing online to compare.

Longs Drugs in Kahala is a very busy location. Shared parking at the mall.I got lucky today and got a parking space right outside of Longs. Went to get my Covid booster. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Checking in was breeze. The pharmacist came promptly at our reserved time. Friendly, fast, and efficient. Enjoy.

Our home Long's is at Kahala Mall. Been coming here since I was very little with my grandma. The coupons didn't load to my account, so the manager was nice enough to honor them for me. I was able to show that I added it on the app/website, but for some reason it wouldn't go to the card. Lots of shaded parking and the staff is always friendly. They just got self checkout in the front and back of the store!

Sad to say my recent pharmacy experience was awful. I recently picked up my prescription cough medicine and they didn't screw the cap on correctly. It leaked in my car (doorwell) as I found it on its side. I called to complain but the girl there said my doc had to call in another prescription. I went back the next day to pick it up but the pharmacist said I would have to pay again as they're not responsible for making sure the cap is on correctly and that was my responsibility. That's a load of $&@!. But, I needed it badly and didn't want to make a scene. I'm still angry at the pharmacist's refusal to apologize and make things right. Oh well, all I can do is write this bad review and hope CVS's corporate office will see it.

Drove 20 minutes to this location to be told my prescription was at a different location after having called earlier in the day to confirm if my prescription was ready. I had received a text two days prior saying there was going to be a change in my medicine and needed to get an alternative approved by my doctor but never received a follow up text saying it was ready until after I had called. When I arrived to the location more than two and a half hours before closing I was told there was a hold and I had to wait for the situation to be sorted. Eventually after waiting 15 minutes I went to pay for my medicine and was told there was another change due to my insurance. When I asked for clarification the on duty pharmacist came over and rushed me because "there are other people waiting." I HAD JUST DEALT WITH SO MANY INCONVENIENCES, five more minutes to clarify what I needed and make sure I left with information to make me comfortable is all I asked. If he would've asked me to move to the side so he can discuss further with me I would have understood but to completely disregard my needs after having dealt with a complex day, caused by their mishaps, was rude and uncalled for. I have never been so frustrated and confused. I still have no clue what I am taking home with me and that is never how anyone should feel after getting a medicine they've never been prescribed before.

I continually try to provide CVS / Longs Kahala, the belief that it will get better some day. I think today I give up. Simple task today I wanted 3 things while I was rushing home from work and getting dinner. 1. The item is no longer a product they bring in!? Why not Hawaii Kai and town have it. 2. Other item - empty shelf's and notice of shortages. It was just juice? 3. Only 1 register open and alternative is to ring it up myself. Can't find my 30% off at self check out. Ok I can search for it? Didn't run in for 3 items to search for coupons. I was at the only register open, they had to move me to self check out because the cashier was too busy talking to the customer in front of me about politics & the coupon center at the front door
